About: As a passionate dog lover, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I provide attentive, reliable care and will make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Having grown up around animals with my father being a retired veterinary surgeon, I understand that every dog is unique, which is why I create a bespoke care plan for every booking, tailored to your dog's individual needs, personality, and routine. My aim is to keep your dog as comfortable and happy as possible by following their usual schedule, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special requirements they may have. Whether your dog loves long adventures, quiet cuddles, or extra attention, I'll ensure they receive the care and companionship they deserve. I provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment, giving you complete peace of mind while you're away. Regular updates, photos, and communication are included so you can see how much fun your furry friend is having during their stay. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)! I am freelance and I have plenty of time during the day to look after your pets. I can come to your house or can host your pets at mine. Happy to tailor to your pets needs on an individual basis. I’m an active person and will be out regularly walking the dogs and showing them attention. My flat is large and spacious and homely, despite not having a garden I will take your animals out very often for walks and they will be cared for in the best way. Sometimes my children are around they are 8 and 11 years old.
About: I have a natural love and passion for dogs. Not only have I had dogs all my life I currently have 2 English pointers, 2 Patterdale terriers and a Deutch Herder x. All very different but equally as loving. I know everyone’s dog is their pride and joy and I will treat every dog in my care as if it were my own. I’ve recently just moved home so I’m looking to set up my little dog walking business to fit in and around my own dogs, horses and little girl. I have a well fenced garden for the fur babies that need it equally I have some stunning free range fields we can walk in. My doggies at home will keep yours happy and play all day. Equally if they need to be walked seperate I have facilities to kennel or crate away and walk alone. If it’s just a drop in visit you require I offer 30 mins or 1 hour slots from your home.
About: I have 35 years of experience caring for my own, my family's, and my friends' pets. I have cared for all sorts of dogs, cats and small furries I will care for your pets like they were my own. I currently work for a vet two half days per week on a Tuesday and Thursday so I have plenty of spare time to take care of your like they are one of mine. Your pet will never be left alone for any significant length of time. I live in a securely fenced 2.5-acre semi-rural equestrian property. The large garden is also fenced for a smaller secure area, if your dog doesn't like the horses. Walks will be provided both in the morning and the evening each day. And I live half a mile from a very secure purpose-built dog paddock, if you would prefer me to take your pooch for an off-lead run. Your dog is welcome to snuggle on the sofa with me in the evenings, just like mine does! At night, the dogs will stay in a large garden room, either in or out of a crate, as per their preference. All feeding requirements can be catered for, and any oral medication needs can be administered. You are welcome to call or message anytime if you are feeling anxious about your pet, and I will send you regular updates if you would like them.
“Meg had a wonderful time with Lucienne, and was totally spoilt whilst she was there! 🐶 I could tell Lucienne loved dogs, and Meg warmed to her straight away! I had lots of pictures and videos, which put my mind at rest, and so will definitely be using her again to look after Meg-thank you! X 🥰”

“Drop off and pick up was smooth and all communication from bookong onwards was great. Gobi was relaxed and happy when I picked him up. The pictures of his day are great and it was fabulous to see him running with Odie too. He's had a brilliant day by the looks of it and can't wait to come and spend time with Terezia and Odie again! I am one very happy customer! Thank you!”

“Bailey was really well looked after and had a fantastic walk at the beach with lots of new sniffs to take in. He had a bit of an upset tummy from eating fox muck the day before but fortunately no accidents in the house & just a bit of diarrhea on the walk. Sonia was really accommodating as I let her know before the visit. I would highly recommend her to anyone. *****”

About: Im a qualified registered veterinary nurse who has opened up my diary to more furry friends! I have extensive experience with administering any medications, grooming & dematting pets and experience with first aid. I have a deep rooted passion for looking after animals since I can remember, I’ve had horses, dogs, cats and rabbits, probably the reason I chose to study veterinary nursing! You can put your full trust in me with your fur babies and know that I’ve got the experience behind me❤️ Im currently working part time and I have availability in my schedule for bookings on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Feel free to contact me regarding another day. If I am house sitting I will stick to your pets normal routine as much as possible to not interrupt their schedule too much. Ensuring they are regularly monitored whilst I’m house sitting and that they are sleeping, eating and toileting in their regular areas. When playing outside if a garden is provided I will always ensure there is fencing around the property before I take your pet off their lead.
“We were visiting The Wirral on holiday, and wanted to spend a day in Liverpool, so contacted Adeline through Rover.com to see if she could look after our 2.5 year old labrador, Paddy. She arranged to a meet-up in a near-by a few days prior to the day care, and intrduced herself and her own gorgeous labrador. She asked lots of questions about Paddy, about his diet, requirements, walking off lead etc, after which we felt very confident to leave him in her care. Paddy had a great time with Adeline, who took him on a huge beach walk with other dogs she was caring for, and kept us updated throughout the day with some fantastic photographs of what Paddy was doing. Paddy loved being with the other dogs, romping around in Adeline's very large & completely enclosed garden, and was asleep as soon as we put him onto the car :) We would certainly use Adeline again the next time we are in the area.”

About: We have cared for family & friends’ dogs on numerous occasions, from Shih Tzus to Bernese Mountain cross Poodles! We are big walkers & live by the beach, so if you’re looking for someone to keep your dog active, look no further! We also love cuddles, so there’ll be no shortage of those! We have a very goofy 6 month old Golden Retriever who absolutely loves other dogs & would be over the moon to have a play date / friend to stay! He isn’t neutered yet, so please bear this in mind before requesting to book. Nat currently works from home & has flexible working hours, and Em works 3-4 shifts a week at the hospital. We are available locally for drop ins on weekdays, or for boarding/daycare throughout the week & some weekends. We have a good sized, fenced back garden, with grass & patio. We have plenty of room to place a crate downstairs if that’s required. We both have cars big enough to travel further for walks & exploring! There are no kids, and no other pets, however your little one won’t be short of attention!
“Dottie, my 6 month old doberdor has had a wonderful day with Matt. She is absolutely shattered and so relaxed. Matt sent me photos throughout the day which were very reassuring. I could tell she was in excellent hands. Matt did everything I had asked of him. Road walking and a bit of recall, which has boosted my own confidence too. On collection of Dottie Matt filled me in on pee, poo and water breaks 👍 I can thoroughly recommend Matt and he will definitely be my 1st port of call with Dottie at all times. Thank you so much Matt and the Rover team 🌈 🐾🐾”

About: Life time dog owners. My Wife, Rebecca and I Have cared for elderly relatives, friends and neighbours pets. New start up caring for dogs commercially. Mrs is a Student Social worker. Mr works shifts. So between us we have spare hours that we would love to help people with their 4 legged family members. As Rover has helped us in the past with our Beagle. We are a working family. Mr B has 4-5 days blocks of no work. And Mrs B works part time around Uni and Mr B's work. Our routine is dog walks post the school run for our 6 year old. We walk our beagle anywhere from 30-60 minutes of a morning. And another walk in the evening. Usually around 17.00. For overnight board. We would stick to your specific feeding times. And evenings post walk would generally be chilled. Cuddles on the couch. Maybe a treat or two. And bed by 22.00. We have a fenced front and rear garden. Our Beagle sleeps in his crate for if we over night board. There will be privacy and space for them to sleep peacefully. We would happily walk your pets with our boy. If you do have a nervous or anti social dog we may not be your best option. But we would certainly consider any adapted care. Our boy is friendly but he's a boisterous and curious beagle. *Important* our only breed we cannot over night board or have over for day care are German Shepards. Our dog does not react well to them. Nor they to him. Not encountered this reaction with any other breed.
“Great communication prior to and during our boys stay with her. Michelle is very kind, has a good way with dogs and was very understanding of my boys health issues (and general personality quirks!). Our boy was very exited to see her again on his return visit ❤️ I would highly recommend Michelle ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Catarina and her husband were very gracious hosts to Connie & Lucy for 2 day sits whilst we were in Llandudno on holiday They were very caring towards the dogs and sent lots of messages showing us what they were up to . Thanks guys Much appreciated xx Barbara Beeston”

About: I have been around dogs for most of my life. Currently the proud doggie Mum to Luna the Cockapoo who is our world ! We are a family of 5, my husband is an optician, studying to become an optometrist. I work part time a couple of evenings a week. We have three older children (17, 14 and 13) who are all very fond of dogs and love to make a fuss of any visiting dogs! We have a calm house, suitable for dogs who are used to being allowed on the furniture and not being left alone. My own dog is never left alone due to separation anxiety so there is always an adult at home with her and it's almost always me ! I have business insurance to care for dogs, dog first aid and boarding certificates, an up to date DBS which can be seen and we have a very dog friendly home with a fully secure back garden and no hazards. We contemplated getting a second dog as a friend for ours as she loves company but I've gone down this route instead. We are based in Thingwall, can offer flexible days and times and will provide updates when required. Any dog who comes to stay with us will receive as much attention as they like, we can follow their usual routines if that's sleeping on a bed with a human or having belly rubs all evening. The house can be calm and serene, or if the dog is more used to long walks and adventures then we can do that - I want your dog to feel at home so lots of details will be taken to ensure your dog has the best time ! There is always someone at home - usually me. If I have to nip out to pick someone up I will take any dogs with me. Most days involve a trip to the park, beach or woods, a laze on the sofa with some TV and cuddles, another walk and more cuddles ! Fully secure fenced garden, non slip floors which are cleaned regularly, a very clean and tidy home with no clutter or choking hazards. Safety checks completed - working smoke detectors, fire extinguisher, dog first aid kit. The use of doggy seatbelts and car seats when travelling. My own vet is available in an emergency but all paperwork completed beforehand will go over anything like this.
About: Had 3 dogs of my own in the last 25 years or so. Trained all of them and loved them. Now would love to take care of your pet with as I have flexible working hours so are able to adjust our lives to the needs of your dogs. Any day other than Sunday I can be very flexible. I work 8 hours a day but flexible hours. All days other than Sundays work for me. Very caring towards animals but if in my home they will not be aloud upstairs or on furniture or beds. Lots of experience with a variety of breeds.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Wales may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
