Catarina and Alex are very warm couple. They updated us on Ruby by sending us pictures and videos. Their dogs, Snow and Ele were very gentle while playing. Catarina also took all the dogs for walks and Ruby loved it. She had a great time with them at their house. I would definitely recommend.

Agnes went on a few great walks every time our dog stayed with her during doggy day care. She was very accommodating for our dog‘s needs and thoughtful about which dogs to take out together.

About: I have grown up with dogs cats and other animals and I have a great bond with every animal I meet. Family and friends have trusted me to look after their animals for years. I never get tired of spending time with animals, playing, cuddling and going on walks with them. I adore dogs and other animals and I would love to make your pet happy and feel comfortable! I have experience of looking after dogs of a variety sizes, ages and personalities. I have cared for multiple dogs with impairments and health problems such as dogs that are blind, deaf, dogs with physical disabilities and dogs with dementia. I have experience of caring for a blind elderly rescue dog which had behavioural problems, we now have a very strong bond and he has complete trust in me. I am currently self employed and I am looking for something enjoyable and exciting to do during my quieter days and weeks. My schedule is very flexible. I will make sure that your pet is comfortable and happy, ensuring that they’re well looked after. I will adapt to each pet depending on their age, size, abilities and energy so your pet has a great time and trusts me. About: I grew up loving our two cats and looked after a friend's miniature poodle for 7 months once. Hard to let go after that long! :) I work from home and would be able to keep a loving eye on any pet staying with us, plus give them regular walkies and play times. Just reach out to see if I'm available as the Rover calender seems to be glitching and isn't letting me input my availability as I'd like it to...hopefully will get it sorted soon though, thank you for your patience! I make sure your beloved pets have everything they need at the right times and will be happy to go above and beyond to make sure they are kept happy and comfy, happy to follow any specific instructions provided!

About: I have a natural love and passion for dogs. Not only have I had dogs all my life I currently have 2 English pointers, 2 Patterdale terriers and a Deutch Herder x. All very different but equally as loving. I know everyone’s dog is their pride and joy and I will treat every dog in my care as if it were my own. I’ve recently just moved home so I’m looking to set up my little dog walking business to fit in and around my own dogs, horses and little girl. I have a well fenced garden for the fur babies that need it equally I have some stunning free range fields we can walk in. My doggies at home will keep yours happy and play all day. Equally if they need to be walked seperate I have facilities to kennel or crate away and walk alone. If it’s just a drop in visit you require I offer 30 mins or 1 hour slots from your home.

I have a level 3 certificate in Animal management and care where I learnt and practised basic animal first aid and had to design and complete an animal training course. Due to owning two senior dogs and a young dog I have experience with all ages of dogs. I am now am now studying Zoology with animal management at a university degree level. I have also worked at a local pet shop that specialised in reptiles and birds where I learnt about behaviour and the first aid for those to groups of animals. I'm currently studying at Bangor university and have a infrequent schedule however most of days I only have about 3 hours of lectures and I'm able to do a range of times. My dogs have free range of our downstairs section of our house and garden, and they have two meals a day however I'm happy to do accomodate for any dietary restrictions or limitations around the house that you have for your pet's.

Sarah was great, she was always really quick with any communication and very accommodating when we were delayed picking Cookie up. She was really welcoming and friendly and our dog had a great day with her, the family and Tedi who is such a lovely dog! Sarah was really good at keeping us updated as to how Cooks was getting on over the day. Cookie had a great day and was thoroughly worn out when she got home! Would definitely use again and thoroughly recommend!

About: Myself and James have always had dogs and have experience with training our young spaniel, looking after a hard of hearing and blind Labrador, and even our family chihuahua. We have a loving home and a sociable caring dog Nala who is always happy to have visitors. I work from home and so I’m around all day to care for my dog Nala and any other dogs I’m looking after. I can take breaks throughout the day for walks. My house is spacious with an enclosed garden. Nala is a friendly and gentle natured show cocker spaniel, who honestly would sleep until 11am if we did. She’s always been around other dogs, children, and even some cats so she’s always open to guests! I have a high fenced garden about 5/6ft and so it’s fully secure. A spacious house with separating kitchen and living room if your pet needs their own space. We live in a friendly street walkable to Red Wharf Bay for easy lunch time walks to the beach. My dog is allowed on the sofa but is well trained so I can adapt to what you and your pets are comfortable with. Nala my dog is a small gentle natured show cocker spaniel and is friendly with other animals and is very experienced socially with lots of other dog breeds. I’m happy to have a meet and greet to ensure the dogs are comfortable together before committing to overnight visits.

About: Im a qualified registered veterinary nurse who has opened up my diary to more furry friends! I have extensive experience with administering any medications, grooming & dematting pets and experience with first aid. I have a deep rooted passion for looking after animals since I can remember, I’ve had horses, dogs, cats and rabbits, probably the reason I chose to study veterinary nursing! You can put your full trust in me with your fur babies and know that I’ve got the experience behind me❤️ Im currently working part time and I have availability in my schedule for bookings on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Feel free to contact me regarding another day. If I am house sitting I will stick to your pets normal routine as much as possible to not interrupt their schedule too much. Ensuring they are regularly monitored whilst I’m house sitting and that they are sleeping, eating and toileting in their regular areas. When playing outside if a garden is provided I will always ensure there is fencing around the property before I take your pet off their lead.

I currently work for a vet two half days per week on a Tuesday and Thursday so I have plenty of spare time to take care of your like they are one of mine. Your pet will never be left alone for any significant length of time. I live in a securely fenced 2.5-acre semi-rural equestrian property. Agnes was great. Firstly she was so flexible - helping me to rearrange at the last minute when I had an unexpected change to my plans. Then while my boys were with her she sent multiple photos and videos of them having a wonderful time with her dogs playing in the garden and adventuring on walks. When I picked them up they weren't sure they wanted to leave! :) 100% would book with her again. Highly recommended.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Conwy

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Conwy on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 314 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Conwy. About 86% of Conwy sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Conwy commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Wales may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
