About: I grew up loving our two cats and looked after a friend's miniature poodle for 7 months once. Hard to let go after that long! :) I work from home and would be able to keep a loving eye on any pet staying with us, plus give them regular walkies and play times. Just reach out to see if I'm available as the Rover calender seems to be glitching and isn't letting me input my availability as I'd like it to...hopefully will get it sorted soon though, thank you for your patience! Their beautiful dog Nala was perfect company for our collie x lab cross. We recieved daily updates about our dog, poppy, and what they had been up to. Catarina is very helpful and reliable. We had good communication in advance. Though we were late, Catarina and her husband were waiting for us with their dogs outside the house. The couple are dog lovers. They are patient and experienced handling big dogs. My dog missed us waiting at the gate for us to come back after we left. They knew how to comfort him. He was smiling again when going out to walk with their lovely Sammies. They also spent much time playing and interacting with my dog. Catarina has taken and shared loads of photos and videos for our peace of mind. It's much appreciated! I highly recommend their dog boarding service. Many thanks to Catarina and her husband again!
Katie looked after our two Dachshunds for two days and nights, whilst we had a family holiday in Llandudno. We were very apprehensive leaving them with anyone, especially someone new. However, Katie was perfect they went straight to her and had a good look around her house as soon as we got there. They normally take a while to accept someone new but they acted like they already had been to stay before. Katie was very calm and friendly and both of them took to her straight away. Katie seems a natural and caring person with animals and sent us updates which helped us feel reassured. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Katie to any dog/pet owner. We hope that we can maybe use Katie's services again next time we visit Llandudno.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
