About: I have owned a dog for over 15 years! I have plenty of experience caring for various breeds, including cockers, broader collies and corgis! I have trained my own corgi from when he was a pup. I've always loved dog and going on walks and thought why not give Rover a go and help others out who need some dog sitting!! I am a full time worker but live a short 5minute walk from work therefore can check on the dogs at anytime of day. I also have the option to work from home if need be. At the rear I have a fenced small yard so that dogs can go outside and still be safe. Pets allowed on furniture but are not allowed upstairs - which is blocked off.

About: I genuinely love spending time with dogs and getting to know their individual personalities. Whether they’re full of energy and ready for an adventure or prefer a slower pace and lots of cuddles, I’m happy to adapt to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. I had a rescue Border Collie for seven years, so I have plenty of experience with active, intelligent dogs and understand how important exercise, routine, and mental stimulation can be. During that time, I also looked after a Patterdale Terrier for four months who was abandoned after being in a violent household. I regularly care for two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel × Bichon Frise crosses, taking them for walks, feeding them, staying overnight, and making sure they get lots of attention and affection. I also looked after a rescue Staffy for over a year, walking and feeding her, staying overnight with her, and even taking her camping with me. It was incredibly rewarding helping her build confidence and enjoy new experiences. For two years, I regularly walked a French Mastiff, a Black Labrador, and a Cocker Spaniel. I've also cared for and walked many other breeds, including Labradors, Huskies, German Shepherds, and Jack Russells, so I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I love being outdoors and am happy to walk or run with dogs on the beach, in the mountains, forests, countryside, or around town. If your dog enjoys playing fetch, tug-of-war, exploring new places, or simply relaxing with some company, I'm more than happy to join in. I can help with feeding, bathing, sticking to routines, and giving your dog plenty of love and attention while you're away. Having cared for rescue dogs, I understand the importance of patience, building trust, and making each dog feel safe and secure. My aim is always to make sure your dog is happy, comfortable, and treated like part of the family. I'm currently self-employed and work part-time, which gives me a good amount of flexibility to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. My working hours can vary from week to week, but I do my best to keep a consistent schedule for regular walks and pet care where needed. I am comfortable feeding, bathing, and playing with your dog, as well as simply spending quality time with them if they prefer companionship and attention. About: I grew up loving our two cats and looked after a friend's miniature poodle for 7 months once. Hard to let go after that long! :) I work from home and would be able to keep a loving eye on any pet staying with us, plus give them regular walkies and play times. “We had a meet and greet before hand, and I knew when we got there Tex (our dog) loved her, paddy and the garden. Sarah was very welcoming and I felt comfortable from the start Tex stayed there for 3 nights and Sarah made us feel comfortable and happy that Tex was having the best time. She sent me photos and videos of Tex going for walks, going to the lake, in the garden and this was great. Tex loved Sarah and Paddy and I will 100% be booking Tex in again. However, Katie was perfect they went straight to her and had a good look around her house as soon as we got there. About: I’m a friendly, reliable, and easy-going person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. Having grown up with dogs, I’ve always been comfortable caring for them. Although I no longer have a dog of my own, I regularly look after dogs for family and friends, including puppies, senior dogs, and those with behavioural needs that require extra patience and care. I’m trusted to walk, feed, and provide overnight boarding for dogs, often for several days at a time. I have also spent time volunteering at Cardiff Dog's home and have walked many different breeds. I've recently retired so would like to use some of my time looking after dogs. I am generally free most days, however a booking would need to be confirmed in advance. I have a large, secure garden and I'm located close to the beach as well as having plenty of countryside nearby for long walks. I have owned and looked after numerous types of dogs so I am happy to match their energy and to cater for their individual needs.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
