Whether your pup loves long adventures, endless sniffing opportunities, or a gentle stroll, I'll make sure they get the exercise, attention, and affection they deserve. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I currently have three of my own—two that I've raised from puppies and are now 6 years old. I also have a wonderful rescue from a puppy farm, who I took on three years ago when she needed lots of care, patience, and encouragement. She's now a happy and thriving 12-year-old lady, and the experience has taught me so much about understanding dogs of all ages, backgrounds, and temperaments. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog, so I'll treat your furry friend as if they were one of my own, keeping you updated with photos and messages along the way. 🐶❤️ I am retired and am passionate about my dogs making sure they have at least one beach walk a day whatever the weather! If the weather is hot I get up at 4.30 ish so I can walk them in the relative cool. Second walks tend to be woodland with rivers as they do like to swim! I have a fenced garden and three friendly cocker spaniels to keep any visitors company. I go out with the dogs in the garden to keep them company.
About: I’m a friendly, reliable, and easy-going person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. Having grown up with dogs, I’ve always been comfortable caring for them. Although I no longer have a dog of my own, I regularly look after dogs for family and friends, including puppies, senior dogs, and those with behavioural needs that require extra patience and care. I’m trusted to walk, feed, and provide overnight boarding for dogs, often for several days at a time. I have also spent time volunteering at Cardiff Dog's home and have walked many different breeds. I've recently retired so would like to use some of my time looking after dogs. I am generally free most days, however a booking would need to be confirmed in advance. I have a large, secure garden and I'm located close to the beach as well as having plenty of countryside nearby for long walks. I have owned and looked after numerous types of dogs so I am happy to match their energy and to cater for their individual needs.
About: I’ve grown up around animals and love having them around. I have experience with a variety of different breeds and due to the flexible nature of my work, I can cater for all of your pet care needs I work freelance so my schedule is entirely flexible so I’m happy to keep your pet company whilst you are out either in your home or mine. I am responsive to the needs of your pet, and they will be my main priority whilst in my care. I love getting out for some fresh air (rain or shine!) so they will be kept active and happy.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
