“Absolutely 5 plus stars. They provide a first class service and the family all clearly love dogs. This is the first time my little Bichon has been left (he is a rescue dog and very anxious) and he was happy - I think animals sense people and he felt safe and secure in their home. This is an enormous relief when you leave your dog, just to know he is safe, loved and looked after. Nicky and Adam kept in regular contact with updates and lots of photos. I would leave him there again if I found myself in a situation where I had to leave him - it is a good hour's travel from where I live but I would do it in a heartbeat. They are a really lovely, caring family providing an outstanding welcome and stay for animals. Excellent.”

“Daisy stayed with Joanne & Terry for the first time this week. From the moment we booked Joanne was on hand to help guide us through. Both Joanne & Terry were so lovely & welcomed Daisy into their home as one of their own. Daisy has quite a few different medications but this was not an issue, which really put our minds at ease. We got lots of photos & updates which we loved and we were able to enjoy our trip away knowing Daisy was settled and having a lovely time. We would highly recommend Joanne & Terry and will be booking again soon. Thank you both xx”

“Sam was marvellous looking after our large and hairy dog last week. She adapted her routine to the heat, finding cold treats and a paddling pool to give Lufra a wonderful time - as well as giving us regular updates and photos.”

“Ben is absolutely amazing with Kaiser. Understands his needs and gives him a loving and fun place whilst he stays with them. This was his first boarding experience after already having a doggy day care and he was excellent. Kaiser settled really well and loves seeing them. Ben kept me updated with pictures and how kaiser was getting on. Brilliant sitter, highly recommend and we will be using in the future for all stays/ day care days.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a particular soft spot for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I grew up with a brilliant border collie, and as an adult I’ve shared my life with a valley bulldog and a throwback Pomeranian—so I’m no stranger to different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. I regularly look after my mum’s poodle and happily jump at any chance to walk or care for friends’ dogs. Being around dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pup’s unique personality. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors, so dog sitting and walking is the perfect way for me to combine my lifestyle with something that brings me joy. Whether your dog prefers long adventures, gentle strolls, or lots of cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’d love to meet your furry friend and give them the same care and attention I give my own. I’m currently taking some time off from teaching, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your furry friends. I’m reliable, experienced, and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I have lots of availability throughout the week, with the exception of school‑run hours, and I’m always happy to fit in walks, playtime, and cuddles whenever you need an extra pair of hands. I have a fenced garden and currently no other dogs at home after losing our beloved pomeranian Winnie. I have two children aged 5 and 8.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Oswestry
Soraya was a great sitter during the time I was abroad. She is very friendly and respectful of the pet's space/body language, and made sure to create a comfortable environment. She was accommodating around drop-off and pickup times. She took my dog for almost daily swims out in nature and made sure she got enough exercise during the walks. She communicated daily and sent pictures/videos of how it was going, although I would have liked a few more pictures, but it's just me nitpicking really. Overall great experience, I'd definitely book with her again.
