“Couldn’t recommend Nicky & Adam enough. They’ve been fantastically patient with Ralphie, despite him being tricky at first! Always sending updates and photos about him. Brilliant!”

About: I've had pets all my life, I have worked in a wide range of animal backgrounds like dog grooming, veterinary care, per sitting. I have a level 3 in animal welfare and a zoology degree. I have trained many family and friends pets from dachshunds, Staffies to XL bullies. I find peace when around animals and have so much love for them all. I'm trying to spend time with animals as much as I can as well as having a full time job. I can come after work - I finish at 5 Monday - Thursday and 3:45 on Fridays. I'm off on weekends. I'll give all the cuddles if that's what the dog/cat is used to, but completely understand if they need space. I'll make sure they have had some care and attention in whatever way they need. I'm very confident in handling dogs and cats, I have a big dog myself and I'm aware of the needs of differently sized animals.

About: Volunteered as a dog walker walking a large dog weekly (and got him to behave on a lead!), comfortable with any dog breed, also experienced with looking after cats - currently own a 15 year old torbie I am currently self employed, so very flexible with my schedule. I am also able to take on jobs on short notice, providing I am able to get to the property on foot. Dogs will be kept on leash outside the house at all times, I will defer to the owner on guidance surrounding treats and toys. I have no problem with animal fur getting on clothes!
“From the moment Fern met our puppy we knew he was in safe hands. Her communication with us was first class with updates after the visit. We would highly recommend Fern and we have already booked her next visit and look forward to booking more in the future.”

About: I have my own dog called Scamp who has always been a problem child as he is a rescue so I’ve had to take him for many trining sessions and do some work with him at home. Before I got him I frequently walked rescue dogs for an animal charity to help out but I have also looked after cats and kittens for a friend when she went on holiday as she used to breed long hair cats. I had to keep litters separate and I happily interacted with them for multiple hours a day. But I’ve always had dogs and done lots of work experience with animals in different environments when I wanted to be a vet when I was younger. Years of experience isn’t purely based on how long I’ve owned my dog for I’m currently working part time and I’m also a student so I have quite a flexible timetable. I can drive so this isn’t an issue for me and I can do early mornings and late nights. I am not offering for your pet to come to me due to my dog as sometimes he isn’t great with other dogs but I am more than happy to give you regular updates and come and visit your pet at your home.

I treat every animal with kindness, patience and respect, caring for them as if they were my own. I am also committed to developing my knowledge and skills by undertaking a diploma in animal care. This will help me provide the best possible care and give owners added confidence that their pets are in good hands. I have many years experience in looking after animals, mainly cats and dogs. I’m currently working part time, over 3 days and working 1 maybe 2 weekends in 4 if your local to park hall Whittington that makes it easier for me to help more. I will be offering pet care in your own home. I have a references from a clients whom I look after and I have a 5 year old cat called fudge. This can be for a an hour, a couple of hours a whole day or staying over while you are away.
About: Hello! We’re Ellen and Owen. Having grown up with family dogs—a pair of Shih Tzus and a sheepdog—we truly understand the joy and companionship pets bring. We love going for walks and embarking on adventures during our active weekends. Both of us work from home three days a week, allowing us to provide attentive care for your pets throughout the week and on weekends. With plenty of experience dog sitting for breeds ranging from chocolate Labradors (puppies and elderly) to Irish Wolfhounds, we guarantee your dogs will be well looked after and showered with love in our care. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more information! We both work from home 3 days per week (usually Monday, Wednesday, Friday). I only work until 1 on a Friday so can collect pets after that. We tend to go to the gym in the mornings so we have free evenings. We’d be happy to collect pets or meet you on your commute, whatever works. Despite having no garden, we do have a balcony for fresh air and a local park which has plenty green space for a run around (if we know your dog has good recall otherwise they’ll stay on the lead). We’d be able to take them for a walk a couple of times a day on our work breaks to make sure there’s no accidents!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a particular soft spot for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I grew up with a brilliant border collie, and as an adult I’ve shared my life with a valley bulldog and a throwback Pomeranian—so I’m no stranger to different temperaments, energy levels, and care needs. I regularly look after my mum’s poodle and happily jump at any chance to walk or care for friends’ dogs. Being around dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pup’s unique personality. I’m very active and love spending time outdoors, so dog sitting and walking is the perfect way for me to combine my lifestyle with something that brings me joy. Whether your dog prefers long adventures, gentle strolls, or lots of cuddles, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’d love to meet your furry friend and give them the same care and attention I give my own. I’m currently taking some time off from teaching, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your furry friends. I’m reliable, experienced, and genuinely love spending time with dogs. I have lots of availability throughout the week, with the exception of school‑run hours, and I’m always happy to fit in walks, playtime, and cuddles whenever you need an extra pair of hands. I have a fenced garden and currently no other dogs at home after losing our beloved pomeranian Winnie. I have two children aged 5 and 8.

I have owned cats & dogs and recognise they need to feel safe and reassured by the person you are allowing into their home. I am currently working in education part time. This allows me time to support your pets needs, especially during the holidays. As a dog owner myself, I know your pet is part of the family and deserves the best care available. I love animals and am happy to care for them as if they are my own. I allow my dog free rein in my home and respect the boundaries of your pets & home. I will follow your instructions and ensure your pet is safe and comfortable while in my care
About: I have experience contributing to the raising, training and caring for 11 dogs over the course of growing up on my family farm. This includes training Border Collie puppies to be working sheep dogs, crate training a terrier and a cocker spaniel as well as senior care to many of our dogs. Although I do not currently have a dog of my own at my flat, I feel my experience and background positions me well to be an effective and reliable dog sitter. I have a full time job working from home. I am a project manager at a web development agency. This gives me a great amount of flexibility during the day. Currently I work from 8am-4pm but I can sometimes start earlier or finish later depending on a few different factors. Every day after work I go for a walk on the canal which is less and a minute away from my front door. This is an ideal place to take your dog for a walks during the day. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for dogs in my home. I have created a comfortable, secure, and pet-friendly environment, ensuring that each dog has a designated space to rest and play. I always keep hazardous items out of reach and maintain a clean, organised space to prevent accidents. Dogs in my care are supervised at all times, whether indoors or during outdoor activities, and I follow owners' specific instructions to maintain their dogs' routines and comfort. With my full-time work-from-home job, I'm always available to give the dogs the attention and care they need and deserve.

“Amazing - super friendly and trust worthy. Really nice guy - very quick responses and very flexible. Lloyd comes to visit coco every week while we are both in work - I don’t know what we would do without him☺️”

About: I have been looking after my own and others pets my entire life, from drop-ins and gentle play sessions with puppies, cuddles and short walks for seniors, to longer walks for energetic dogs. Alongside drop-in and sitting cats of a variety of ages and temperaments. Whether shy or cuddle bugs! I have experience walking dog-reactive dogs who require calm, one on one attention and integrating obedience or other training into their walks. I truly enjoy spending time with each pet and tailoring my services to be the right experience for them. I am on a fixed schedule until October and can only offer weekend services, or weekday services after 6:30pm. However, after this I should return to flexible, part-time hours and will build appointments into my schedule, taking plenty of time to accommodate each pet and their needs. For any service, drop in or walk, I like to meet and discuss your pets needs and expectations first to make sure we're a good match. From there we'll agree on specifics and I will tailor my services to each pets needs, go through any concerns, essentials I need to know etc. For dog walks, we will discuss if you'd prefer them to be walked locally from your home or if they are happy and content and there is a suitable location nearby we can discuss short travel for walks. I do not walk dogs off leash, for their safety, but should there be a suitable location for them to have more freedom I will walk them on a long leash so they can sniff and play. I will communicate any issues, odd behaviours, success and wins with you, and if I manage to get any, pictures too! And I will do my best to do a basic dry and clean so if we do get a bit soggy or muddy on a walk it's not going all over your home. I like to spend a five to ten minutes after a walk with them to make sure they are okay before the end of the appointment.
“So pleased to have found Jack through Rover.com. He was great with my dog and it is comforting to get a text message when he arrives and leaves together with a report and photos. If I need drop in visits again I will be happy to have Jack again. Thank you for an excellent service.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have always loved caring for them. I currently have my own Goldendoodle, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’ve also gained lots of hands-on experience looking after family dogs, and I’m someone people regularly rely on for walks, feeding, and overnight care—so I’m confident with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’ve completed accredited Dog First Aid, CPR and Grooming training, so your dog’s safety and wellbeing are always my priority. I’m patient, attentive, and always happy to follow your pets usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. I work full time during the week, so I focus my services on evenings and weekends where I can give your pets my full attention. I offer evening walks, weekend walks, and weekend sitting. During school holidays and half terms, I can also be more flexible with my availability. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—whether that’s getting out for a fun walk, playing games, or just giving them plenty of love and company. I’ll always treat your pet like one of my own 😊 I work full time during the week but am available for dog walks after work and throughout the weekends. I can also offer sitting in the afternoons and boarding at my home on weekends. During the school summer holidays I have a more flexible schedule and can offer additional availability. Your pets safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely play and explore. I also have my own friendly and playful Goldendoodle who absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys having company. I always make sure dogs are supervised and comfortable in their environment so they feel relaxed and at home while staying with me.
“Absolutely over the moon with Kayleigh! She has done a fantastic job looking after our two babies. Every day she has visited our cats, Kitty loves Kayleigh. She has gone above and beyond, watering our many plants too. We will definitely use Kayleigh again when we go away. She is highly recommended”
“Mark has recently looked after my 4 cats for the last 6 days. Mark came for a meet and greet when I initially booked which was some time before the actual visit, he also came again for a refresh the day before which I really appreciated. He was friendly and chatty and put me at ease and I knew the cats would be well cared for. I had updates everyday and lots of photo's. The house was clean and tidy and he was happy to go and search for the cats under the bed to make sure they were all ok. My 4 cats are rescue and not all of them good with strangers so this was very much appreciated. Thanks Mark!”

Jack is a real find. He took the time to come and meet our puppy, Albie, before his first drop-in visit. Albie took to Jack immediately and it was clear that Jack loves dogs and is very experienced with handling them. We had a really comprehensive update after Jack’s drop-in visit with lots of photos. Really happy puppy and happy owners too. Thanks to Jack - we’re really happy that he’s part of Albie’s extended family now!
