“Absolutely thrilled to have found Eve on here! After a last minute panic needing our dogs looking after whilst we all went away, she came and met our dogs (who absolutely loved her!) within 24 hours and was fantastic during each of her visits. Photos, updates and comments each time and we are so thankful that she was able to come with such short notice. Thank you! We’ll definitely be seeing you again- I know Max and Peppa will be happy with that! 😍”

“Jessica was amazing with our land shark! Really appreciate her squeezing us in short notice and caring for our pup and messaging me lots of pictures to ease the anxiousness! Thank you x”

“Kerry was reliable and friendly and brilliant with my cat who she looked after really well. My cat is a nervous cat but Kerry was able to help him feel comfortable with her. It was nice to receive the lovely photos Kerry sent to show my cat was doing well and making friends with her. Thank you, Kerry!”

About: I love spending time with dogs of all shapes and sizes! I've grown up with labradors and cocker spaniels, so I'm used to sociable, high-energy dogs. I've studied animal behaviour and cognition so I actively research and apply this theory when handling new dogs. I'm comfortable working with rescue dogs, and happy to take it slow with seniors who'd prefer a relaxed visit. I'm out walking my dog whatever the weather, and I have flexible working hours so I'm happy visit your dog(s) during the day and take them on some lovely long walks! My house has enough space for small or large dogs, and I have an enclosed garden they can enjoy. My spaniel, Cleo, will be around to help your dog feel comfortable. 🐶 I'm out walking whatever the weather! My job is flexible, and I tend to have time in the afternoons, so I am available to help out during the day for walks or home visits. My dog gets treated like royalty and yours will too! I'll respond to their personality and work with you to meet their specific needs while they're with me.
“Ella did a great job looking after our old rescue dog, Ruby. She sent regular updates and we came home to a happy little pup after her care. We will definitely be using Ella again and would recommend her highly”

“Thank you for checking in on my girls while I was away. I really appreciate it. Hopefully you will be happy ro help me again in the future. Excellent service and the cats were perfect when I got back.”

“Our cat, Evie, had a lovely time with Eleanor. Evie recently needed a change to her diet and some new medication, so it was important to us that we left her in safe hands. Eleanor certainly was the perfect person for the job, and we would absolutely recommend her and book her again. 5* :) ”

“Kelly is absolutely fantastic. So friendly, informative and reassuring. She provided us with lots of photos and updates. Lots of communication before, during and after her visit and made us feel totally at ease. We will be re-booking with her weekly. Couldn’t recommend Kelly enough!”

About: I've grown up around dogs, and then have since had my own for 4 years, each with there own personality particular when walked. Happy to discuss any needs prior particular if things owners have concerns with to support them to feel at ease. It would need to fit in around my full time job, there is more flexibilty in evenings but work in a role where it is possible to manage this during breaks in work. I currently do not have the facility to care for pets in my home. But should this change it would be as I treat my own if attending a residency ensure they are fed, watered and happy with what is necessary for them for example my dog prefers cuddles to toys but then others may need that play interaction
About: I have been a dog owner for 14 years. I used to be mom to a boxer and a lab/collie mix, but sadly lost them both recently due to illness and age. (They were both 12/13 years old). I was also mom to a blind Lhasa Apso, who considering she couldn’t see-certainly had a personality to make up for it. Sadly she passed due to illness and age recently as well. I have recently become mom to a miniature dachshund called Parker. All of my pets have taught me things about dogs and how each one needs to be loved differently, due to their personalities. I’m here to provide care to your pets, when they need it. I currently work from home-so have plenty of time to care for your pets, and provide the attention that they need. Be it a walk a day and being returned home after, or receiving care at my own home for the day. I am flexible and here for your pet. I always carry a spare lead with me-in case there are any issues on walks. For care in my own home-I have a secure garden, and have room to crate if that is what your pet is used to and comfortable with.

About: Following years of dog sitting for family and being desperate for a dog of my own, I finally adopted my Labrador puppy Jessie in 2025. My life has completely changed for the better both physically and mentally. I understand how difficult it is to find dog care you can trust and the need for peace of mind when you’re away or at work. I’m responsible, caring, reliable and genuinely love dogs! I’m currently working part time, so am flexible with my commitments. I am happy to take last minute requests for dog care and love nothing more than a long walk! I have a two year old Labrador called Jessie and a large, secure garden. My local area has lots of lovely areas for walking and fields for running around.
About: Long walks, hill walks, running (to be honest, it’s more jogging 😂), sitting in cafes; whatever your furry friend prefers let me know and I’ll come up with a plan! After 20 years in an office, I’ve broken free and am available during the day and some evenings. I’m in the lucky position of being pretty flexible! We have a 3 story family home, which we share with our Cavapoo, Rocket. Your dog, like ours, has free run of the house and small fenced garden. I will be solely responsible for the dogs, however my family will be around. My daughter is the animal whisperer, but my wife and son love being along for the ride.
About: Hi! We’re a caring, reliable dog walking and pet sitting team with many years of hands-on experience as dog owners. Until recently, we shared our lives with three beloved dogs—two who lived long, full lives into old age, and one we sadly lost to a tumor. Caring for them through every stage of life has given us deep understanding, patience, and compassion for dogs of all ages and needs. We’re comfortable with everything from energetic walks to gentle senior care, and we know how important routine, safety, and trust are when it comes to your pet. We follow your instructions closely and always prioritize your dog’s comfort and well-being. We treat every dog as if they were our own and provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. We’d be honored to care for your furry family member. Because we both work from home, we’re able to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. This flexibility allows us to schedule walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting around your dog’s routine, ensuring they’re never left alone for long. One of us is always available to provide care, companionship, and supervision, giving your pet the comfort and attention they deserve. We’re also happy to host dogs in our home, where they’ll have plenty of space to relax and play. We have a large, fully fenced garden that’s perfect for safe outdoor time, potty breaks, and supervised play. Dogs in our care enjoy a calm, comfortable home environment with lots of attention, making it a great option for pets who prefer a home-away-from-home experience.

About: I've taken care of so many pets since I was young. I've looked after my friends & families dogs and always had pets since I was young. I've had cats, dogs, snakes, hamsters, rats, mice... you name it! I volunteered at a nearby cat shelter for several years with my sister who is now studying animal care at college. I do PA work for families and mental health support (for humans!) alongside my love of fur babies! I have trained a few dogs and I am very outdoorsy - I love climbing outdoors, walks, and camping! I would love my own pup but can't afford it right now... soon though!! :D I am self-employed, so my schedule changes, but I have plenty of time to ppay with pups! I do PA work for families, work as a wellbeing coach & mental health, and petsit/babysit for my friends & family. We live in a small flat, but happy to have any dogs to stay! We have an unfenced front garden, but I love getting out and about so can take your doggies out as much as they need to go. I sometimes care for my mum's two doggos in case your furry friends like company :))

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Wrekin
Steph was professional, communicative and thoughtful, throughout all times before, during and after she cared for our cat. Our cat is usually extremely timid and scared of any stranger, yet took to Steph immediately. Steph was consistently on time, detailed in her reports and always approachable with any specific requests that we had. An absolute delight and we are supremely grateful for her support and care, over what I'd always a very stressful period, let alone with a loved pet at home. Thank you Steph!
Madison is very professional and reliable. This was our first time using a pet sitting service of any kind and were quite nervous. Maddiecwad very understanding and reassuring, our cats enjoyed her visits and I'm sure krit looking for her afterwards. We would definitely recommend and will rebook in the future. Thank you!

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
