“Man Choi was amazing with Biscuit! She sent lots of updates and photos to us during our holiday to put our minds at rest. Biscuit really enjoyed her time with Man Choi and Man Choi made sure Biscuit had lots of fuss and all her medication, food and drink and toilet breaks too! We would use Man Choi 100% again and are so happy with how she looked after Biscuit and treated her so well with lots of love and care. Great care and communication! Thank you!”

“Percy & Neville have now stayed with Lyndsey and her Family Twice. The Boys couldn’t have been happier on their second visit, so much so that they didn’t even look back when we dropped them off! Lyndsey sent lots of photos and updates, in which they looked very happy and at home, and both times they have come home with some lovely personalised treats. Thank You So Much, They will be back in December x”

“Laura was an absolute god send, she had our dog whilst we went away on holiday for almost 2 weeks. She is a very lovely person and it was really reassuring knowing our dog was so well looked after. Laura was very accommodating to lulu's usual routine, and wanted her to feel totally at home. She had the run of the house and was even allowed to sleep on the bed like she does at home. She had the best time with Laura and her family, who also spoilt her with lots of attention and cuddles (even doggy ice cream). We are extremely grateful and would not choose anyone else to look after her when we go away again in the future. Thank you so much Laura!”

“I was quite anxious leaving Elsa for the Easter weekend, but Sheila put me at ease from the very first meet-and-greet. Throughout Elsa’s stay, we received frequent updates and pictures that reassured me. Elsa clearly had a wonderful time, and I would absolutely trust Sheila again without hesitation. Thanks so much for looking after my baby so well ❤️”

About: I have had experience of dogs since age 8 when my parents had 2 golden retrievers. There has only been a period of around 10 years in my life where I have not lived with dogs. I have bred rottweilers and German shepherds. I am a house husband so apart from nipping the shops, I am at home 95% of the time. We live in a rural area and within a 5 minute walk there is access to fields, woods and walks right by the wrekin. My whole life is pet care at the moment, I love it. I can do very last minute bookings so long as there can be a quick meet to establish all dogs are going to get on. I especially like big dogs and don't mind a bit boisterous / challenging. So long as they get on with my dogs. We have a good sized enclosed garden with dog flap doors which lead to the garden. I am a house husband and am at home 95% of the time. I take my dogs out for 3 to 4 walks a day starting very early in the morning. Our dogs are very playful and freindly with other dogs. I have had many a relatives dog stay over whilst they are away so I am very used to looking after multiple dogs. I have raised a few litters of pups, the last litter 12/2025.

About: 🐾 Qualifications & Experience • DBS checked, certificate on request • Animal Care & Pet First Aid/CPR (QLS Level 3) • Veterinary Support Assistant Diploma • Level 2 Animal Care • Animal Behaviour training I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have experience with all sizes and breeds — from German Shepherds to Shih Tzus. I currenty work in the veterinary sector, after a 5 year gap away. Here I have gained strong knowledge of animal health, behaviour, and client care. Alongside this, I’ve regularly cared for and walked dogs for friends and family. I have a particular interest in dog behaviour, especially supporting nervous or reactive dogs. I adopted my own dog from an abuse background (Hatton Kennels) and have spent the past 3 years building his confidence with the support of behaviourists and some hard work. It’s been one of the most rewarding experiences and has given me real, hands-on understanding of patience, trust-building, and calm handling. I’ve also had the pleasure of volunteering at Hilbrae Rescue Kennels, and I’m keen to continue supporting rescue work. I’m confident in caring for nervous or reactive dogs and always take a calm, gentle approach. I completely understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet, so I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand. Work part time at a Vets. I am available evenings and weekends currently with more flexible hours to come. I am central Telford so travelling is never a problem. I take a keen interest in dog behaviour and always want to understand the dogs needs. I will adapt to whatever the owner wants. And most importantly, will love your doggo as if it were my own.
About: I love spending time with dogs of all shapes and sizes! I've grown up with labradors and cocker spaniels, so I'm used to sociable, high-energy dogs. I've studied animal behaviour and cognition so I actively research and apply this theory when handling new dogs. I'm comfortable working with rescue dogs, and happy to take it slow with seniors who'd prefer a relaxed visit. I'm out walking my dog whatever the weather, and I have flexible working hours so I'm happy visit your dog(s) during the day and take them on some lovely long walks! My house has enough space for small or large dogs, and I have an enclosed garden they can enjoy. My spaniel, Cleo, will be around to help your dog feel comfortable. 🐶 I'm out walking whatever the weather! My job is flexible, and I tend to have time in the afternoons, so I am available to help out during the day for walks or home visits. My dog gets treated like royalty and yours will too! I'll respond to their personality and work with you to meet their specific needs while they're with me.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine love for animals and my dedication to providing the best possible care for your furry family members. In addition to my experience caring for my own cats, I have also volunteered at animal shelters and have experience with a wide range of animals, including dogs, birds, and small mammals. I am committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for your pets, and I have a strong understanding of animal behavior and body language, allowing me to identify any potential issues before they become problems. Overall, my passion for animal care and my experience makes me a reliable and trustworthy choice for your pet-sitting needs. I would love the opportunity to meet your furry family members and provide them with the love and attention they deserve. I am currently a student, so aside from the time I am at my college, I will have plenty of time to spend with your little fur baby. I can look after them on the weekdays too but I prefer the weekends more. I will be caring for the pet at the owner's house as my flatmates don't like to have dogs around the house. Within your home, I can crate your dog if needed and we will abide by the rules and restrictions you have set for them,
“We were quite anxious about leaving Cheddar with a stranger but kimmy put ease to that within the 1st few hours with a descriptive text and countless pics. Daily updates and daily pictures and videos. She has gone above and beyond in the care for Cheddar and I couldn't of asked for a better minder. I would 1000% be using kimmy again and I fully recommend her to anyone looking for pet care in the future. Thank you kimmy, you were superb 👍”

“Amazing service from Emma! Thank you so much for taking great care of Neo today. I loved receiving all the little updates and pictures from his adventures out walking. He seems really happy this evening if a little exhausted which can only be a good sign of an incredible day! I shall definitely be booking in with you again. Thanks so much for your assistance.”

“Linda was totally amazing with Harley whilst we were away. I could see how comfortable and at home she made him feel. Linda also sent us daily updates and photos so we could see how he was doing whilst away. We have never left him that long before but I wouldn’t think twice about leaving him with Linda. How ghouls recommend Linda to anyone looking to have the reassurance of your dogs being so well cared for. Amazing lady, thank you so much Linda ?”

“Absolutely amazing!! Binks had a wonderful time and I knew the whole time she was being looked after properly and just as well as she would be at home. “Thank you so much for having Storm and Penny, they loved it with Charlie, she kept me updated with pictures, I had a mix up with dates and Charlie was so good with accommodating this, amazing communication before and during their stay, I would 100% use her again, thank you so much!”

About: I was a dog mom for 13 years and my beautiful best friend Amigo had the best life any dog could ask for. I love animals deeply and I moved to the area I live just for my dog. My house is fully dog proof with a dog flap, garden and woodlands right outside the front door. He passed away 5 months ago and I can’t bear to have another dog of my own, but the house is quiet and I miss being able to look after a furry friend. Amigo was a white German shepherd so I am used to big dogs and the needs of a “working” dog breed. If you want your dog to be looked after with the amount of love you give them, then I am your gal. My best friend Jenny is also a boarder / walker, so if there is any time where I need to pop out shortly she can normally pop in and keep your fur babies some company . I work from home currently and did so, so that I could be with my dog before he passed. I can give a lot of attention to your furry friend as they will be here right with me. I also have a dog flap so there always free to go outside as much as they like. *If I am out for any reason my bestie who is a dog boarder & walker can pop by. She also lives down the road from me which is a plus. So be rest assured that your fur baby will be well looked after. I have a fenced in garden, and a two story house so there is enough space (my German Shepard was very comfortable here and didn’t have any issues). You tell me how many treats your pet can have and I’ll provide the cuddles and playtimes. * Jenny also has a fenced garden. She has a 4 bedroom 2 story new build which is stunning.
“Thank-you Ollie and Sophie. A perfect place to leave Chester ( our lab ) for a few days. The videos throughout his stay, reassured us he was safe and having a great time. He’ll definitely be back for another holiday. See you soon”

Man Choi was amazing with Biscuit! Thank you!

Leigh was super helpful when we had a last minute holiday booked, she answered any questions we had and helped in every way possible. Halloumi seemed to have such a nice time, he's come back way more relaxed than usual and seems so much more chilled. We were sent so many photos and videos whilst away which was lovely to see. I will definitely be using Leigh again in the future and i think other people should too. Thank you Leigh 😊 x
Becky and family have looked after our cockapoo this week and she has had a lovely time! She settled in straight away and enjoyed walks and play time just as she does at home. I can’t thank Becky enough for taking our little monkey into their home for the week and taking care of her so well. With regular photos and messages it helped put our mind at rest to know she was happy as Larry x Without doubt will be repeat customer x 👍

Elena and her family were excellent and vey attentive to Willow. We received loads of updates and pictures. Willow showed only happiness when we collected him and no sign of stress. Willow seemed to of had a very enjoyable time with Elena lots of walks and plenty of cuddles

Sinead inspired confidence when we met before placing Artoo with her for a week. It was the first time we had placed him with someone completely unknown to us (our previous options not being available at short notice) but it was confidence that wasn't misplaced at all. He seemed to have a really great time and she sent us lots of reassuring updates. He got really well with Sinead's own dogs too. She also went out of her way to accommodate our (very short notice!) plans. Her love of dogs and competence shines through. I can't praise or recommend her highly enough.

Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
