I currenty work in the veterinary sector, after a 5 year gap away. Here I have gained strong knowledge of animal health, behaviour, and client care. Alongside this, I’ve regularly cared for and walked dogs for friends and family. I have a particular interest in dog behaviour, especially supporting nervous or reactive dogs. I adopted my own dog from an abuse background (Hatton Kennels) and have spent the past 3 years building his confidence with the support of behaviourists and some hard work. It’s been one of the most rewarding experiences and has given me real, hands-on understanding of patience, trust-building, and calm handling. I’ve also had the pleasure of volunteering at Hilbrae Rescue Kennels, and I’m keen to continue supporting rescue work. He learnt all of my dogs habits and routines beforehand and gave them the absolute best time while we were away. Regular photos and videos were sent daily which also put our mind at rest while we were so far away. About: I have had experience of dogs since age 8 when my parents had 2 golden retrievers. There has only been a period of around 10 years in my life where I have not lived with dogs. I have bred rottweilers and German shepherds. I am a house husband so apart from nipping the shops, I am at home 95% of the time. We live in a rural area and within a 5 minute walk there is access to fields, woods and walks right by the wrekin. My whole life is pet care at the moment, I love it. I can do very last minute bookings so long as there can be a quick meet to establish all dogs are going to get on. I especially like big dogs and don't mind a bit boisterous / challenging. So long as they get on with my dogs. We have a good sized enclosed garden with dog flap doors which lead to the garden. I am a house husband and am at home 95% of the time. I take my dogs out for 3 to 4 walks a day starting very early in the morning. Our dogs are very playful and freindly with other dogs. I have had many a relatives dog stay over whilst they are away so I am very used to looking after multiple dogs. I have raised a few litters of pups, the last litter 12/2025.

About: I was a dog mom for 13 years and my beautiful best friend Amigo had the best life any dog could ask for. I love animals deeply and I moved to the area I live just for my dog. My house is fully dog proof with a dog flap, garden and woodlands right outside the front door. He passed away 5 months ago and I can’t bear to have another dog of my own, but the house is quiet and I miss being able to look after a furry friend. Amigo was a white German shepherd so I am used to big dogs and the needs of a “working” dog breed. If you want your dog to be looked after with the amount of love you give them, then I am your gal. My best friend Jenny is also a boarder / walker, so if there is any time where I need to pop out shortly she can normally pop in and keep your fur babies some company . I work from home currently and did so, so that I could be with my dog before he passed. I can give a lot of attention to your furry friend as they will be here right with me. I also have a dog flap so there always free to go outside as much as they like. *If I am out for any reason my bestie who is a dog boarder & walker can pop by. She also lives down the road from me which is a plus. So be rest assured that your fur baby will be well looked after. I have a fenced in garden, and a two story house so there is enough space (my German Shepard was very comfortable here and didn’t have any issues). You tell me how many treats your pet can have and I’ll provide the cuddles and playtimes. * Jenny also has a fenced garden. She has a 4 bedroom 2 story new build which is stunning.

Lyndsey and Jim were brilliant. I have only ever left Ozzy my dog with family before but they provided a home from home for him and my son’s dog, Luna. Lyndsey and Jim were reassuring, calm but very professional. We got regular communications, photos, enough to reassure us that they were happy and being cared for. When we collected Ozzy and Luna, they were happy to see us but clearly relaxed and content. We choose Lyndsey and Jim as they live near to where our daughter was getting married but we would have no hesitation booking them again, even though it’s an hour’s journey from our home.
I'm not going to give Lauren a review full of positives and gratitudes, which she truly deserves actually, because I want her to be available next time we want to use her fabulous dogs careing services. We would not want to have to leave our 12yo Scottish Deerhound with anyone else now so please don't use Lauren in case our dates clash. Thanks.
Laura has been amazing with our Frenchie, Frankie. He has been very well looked after, had lots of adventures and I don’t think he wanted to come home! Will definitely use Laura again and definitely recommend 109%. It’s so nice to go on holiday and not have to worry about your pet as you know he is being so well looked after.
My 2 year old dog Rolo stayed with Rebecca for just over 2 weeks. I received daily updates on what he was doing, whether that was his daily walk, him playing in the garden or one of the many amazing outings he went on! Whilst with Rebecca, Rolo visited a farm, cannock chase, telford flower festival and many other wonderful places. I would highly recommend Rebecca to anyone who requires pet care. Thanks again!

Leigh was super helpful when we had a last minute holiday booked, she answered any questions we had and helped in every way possible. Halloumi seemed to have such a nice time, he's come back way more relaxed than usual and seems so much more chilled. We were sent so many photos and videos whilst away which was lovely to see. Elena and her family were excellent and vey attentive to Willow. We received loads of updates and pictures. Willow showed only happiness when we collected him and no sign of stress. Willow seemed to of had a very enjoyable time with Elena lots of walks and plenty of cuddles
Sinead inspired confidence when we met before placing Artoo with her for a week. It was the first time we had placed him with someone completely unknown to us (our previous options not being available at short notice) but it was confidence that wasn't misplaced at all. He seemed to have a really great time and she sent us lots of reassuring updates. He got really well with Sinead's own dogs too. She also went out of her way to accommodate our (very short notice!) plans. Her love of dogs and competence shines through. I can't praise or recommend her highly enough.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
