About: I have grown up with dogs. I curreny have 2 shihtzus who are loved and well cared for. I enjoy taking the dogs for walks. I work from home so I am available all day weekdays. I will be able to provide care on a Saturday and the occasional Sunday. My garden is secure , there is fencing all around. I have rwo stairgates to prevent my puppy dog going upstairs and down the stairs.

About: I grew up with dogs around me. I loved to take them for walks and the vet visits. Seen their little tail wagging of happiness to see me, just makes me incredibly happy too 🥰 Since moving to Europe in 2018 my life has been too unstable to have a dog or a cat in my home 💔 But now I can dog sit! I can’t wait to have as many four-legged friends as possible 🥰🥰 I am currently working at my house, so will be around the whole day and as I often take brakes I will have a lot of time to go for walks and play with your dog or dogs 🥰 My partner, James, and I have a fenced garden and live in a very nice walking area near woods and fields not far away from the house. He was clearly a little uneasy when I first left him which made me apprehensive as he'd only stayed with friends and family previously but Bryony kept in touch with reassuring texts and a photo of Billy happily settled which made my birthday weekend away much more enjoyable. We have a Belgian malinious mix, large and energetic - and so was hesitant to how he would be whilst we were away… but Steven and the family gave our dog a great home for over 7 days whilst we were away. Keeping us up to date with walks, and pictures - and even bought a dog toy to keep our dog engaged. Would recommend.”

I have had a German Shepherd, a Greyhound and I have a lovely 1 year old Staffie now. She is my baby. I can pick collect your dog and make sure it is fed and looked after well. I am a retired nurse and I find dogs more genuine than most human beings. I am a retired nurse and I have got plenty of time on my hands. I am free everyday and very flexible on a daily basis. Dooey had a fantastic time with Alanah. It was most definitely a home from home stay. I would highly recommend Alanah to care for your fur babies whilst you’re away, they’ll be in great hands. Alanah’s communication from the first enquiry was responded to swiftly and gave me confidence in booking Dooey stay with her, this communication continued whilst we were away and had regular updates with photos. Dooeys highlight was a trip out to watch the England game with Alanah.😊
Again another fantastic stay for Loki. He really does love going on his little stay cations with Vasiliki & her family, he is treated like their own when he is there, with the love and care he needs. Could not have asked for a better service! Had plenty of pictures to put my mind at ease, communication was fantastic and he came back absolutely shattered after some great walks with Cooper! 😂 This was the first time I’d left Herbie with anyone other than friends or family, so naturally was a little nervous, but there was no need; he received such great care and I could tell he was even a bit peeved to be home 😂 Would recommend Kate and Fran to anyone who’s interested and I hope they’ll have my boy again if needed, so so happy!

I feel very lucky to have found Isabella. Not only did my dog adore her, she left my home beautifully clean and tidy. She was very thoughtful, trustworthy and kind. I think my dog actually missed her when i came home! I would have no hesitation in reccommending her, and will definitely have her to look after my dog again.
Louis had a great 1 week stay with Bryony and was well looked after while we were away. Bryony was kind enough to send us photos at regular intervals so that we could see how he was doing and that he had settled in okay. If we need a dog boarder again, we will definitely be in touch with Bryony to see if she can help.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
