“Thomas has looked after our four dogs over the last 15 years when required with care and consideration. As a Veterinary Surgeon married to a Veterinary Nurse we are obviously very particular, especially when all our pets were rescue cases. Thomas has a natural affinity to relate to animals and they can sense this when they are with him. He will care for your pet as though it was his own.”

14. Mike D.
“Mike willingly took on Charlie as a late booking first time boarder, helped him settle into his temporary household with 2 other animals (a new thing for him) and helped Charlie get the exercise he always craves, even while keeping him certainly safe by being on a long lead! A joy to deal with in the arranging too. Will definitely use again in future.”
15. Iveta K.
“Iveta was brilliant. She was super responsive on the app (especially given that I had to arrange it at very short notice). She sent lots of nice pupdates and it’s clear that she really cares about the dogs she looks after. 100% would recommend and also would use her services again if we need to!”
16. Isobel B.
About: Hi, I’m Isobel, living here in Halesowen and serving the areas in and around Halesowen as well as Clent and Romsley (not least since that's great access for fabulous walks up Clent Hills and off into the woods (particularly if its raining!!)). PLEASE NOTE: WHILST MY AVAILABILITY IS WIDE OPEN, I AM ONLY TAKING A D V A N C E BOOKINGS FOR HOME BOARDING (DAY OR HOLIDAY BOARDING). THIS IS BECAUSE TO LEGALLY BOARD DOGS, PROVIDERS MUST BE LICENSED BY THEIR LOCAL AUTHORITY. MY LICENCE APPLICATION IS IN WITH DUDLEY COUNCIL AND I'M AWAITING THE DATE FOR MY INSPECTION. HOWEVER, MOSTLY OWNERS WOULD WANT TO BOOK FAIRLY WELL IN ADVANCE IF THEY KNOW THEY'RE GOING ON HOLIDAY SO PLEASE DO ASK ME ABOUT BOARDING BOOKINGS THAT WOULD OCCUR IN DECEMBER 2024 AND LATER - THIS GIVES YOU THE BEST CHANCE OF GETTING A GUARANTEED SPOT, AND PLENTY OF TIME FOR US TO MEET AND GO THROUGH EVERYTHING. If you do need more than walks only, in the interim I can offer home visits and pet sitting which for some is a good alternative to home boarding and can be combined with one or two walks as well (but your dog stays in your home instead of living with me). I first started out (as someone horse-mad since childhood) by training to be a groom and riding instructor which I worked at for several years. I came into contact and worked with dogs at the different stables I worked at (Border Collies and multiple Jack Russells!) and worked privately for owners where I cared for a variety of dogs including a gorgeous Rottweiler and a daft Dalmation. Then it's been a career in IT transformation, stuck at a desk - get me back into the outdoors, with animals!! I'm mad about dogs and all animals really (including reptiles, and I'd not say no to a tarantula either!!) and like you, when I got my own dog (my little rescue dog Bramble (a Jac Chi))) it was truly one of the best things ever and we love her to pieces - so I know just HOW much we all love our dogs and how uniquely we know all of their little quirks and funny ways - and the level of care and thought that owners give to ensuring they meet their dogs needs. So I understand how important it is that if you need to leave your dog in someone else's care, that you feel you can rely on them to do their professional, loving best, to take excellent care of your canine pride and joy. And that's what Four Paws Dog Walking is all about - excellent, professional but loving and joyful care of your dog. As well as dogs I’ve owned cats and we’ve had a older cat, guinea pigs (both species being rescues), stick insects, hamsters and a land snail! There are no small children in the home, just one additional adult who loves dogs and animals as much as I do. Aside from Bramble we have no other pets in the house. We are under 2 hours from London Heathrow and 2.5 hours from London Gatwick so are a good drop-off point for owners heading off for their holidays and wanting full holiday home boarding. I am taking advance bookings for December 2024 onwards NOW for anyone jetting off in the Autumn / Christmas & New Year / Winter sun. Please check out the pictures of my home, garden, and the vehicle dogs are transported in. I am canine first aid trained, hold full insurance and DBS cleared. Please feel free to initiate a Rover booking and that lets us have a conversation about your needs - I know how important it is to speak to the person who'll be caring for your dog - don't be afraid to ask any questions that you have - I want anyone who trusts me with their dog to have a confident feeling that they've found the right person otherwise it would be so hard to relax when you were away - and we don't want that. We can then arrange a Meet & Greet and do a short joint walk together and if everyone's happy, get you registered and booked in; it's as easy as that. Working with dogs is now my full time job, 7 days a week, allowing me to offer services to a wide range of owners and a wide variety of dog breeds, and all the quirks and personalities that will bring! I focus completely on providing the best service and giving the best care. On any day I can have a blend of walking-only dogs and boarded dogs and will accommodate all dogs needs and ensure everyone gets the exercise and play that they require. My focus is 100% on caring for owner's dogs the entire time - heaven!! Dogs boarded with me become one of the family for their stay - they can sleep on the bed, cuddle up on the sofa, whatever makes them feel comfortable. I can also provide care in your home as an alternative. If you would like to pre-register with me in readiness for a future date, please let me know - this will give you the best chance of there being space and booking early is always advised for holiday boarding. When I encounter a breed I’ve not worked with before I’m immediately interested to learn what makes them tick and will plan accordingly so they get the kind of exercise / enrichment that they will enjoy most. Every dog is different and I will always work to recognise their individual natures. I have a well maintained, secure garden, first aid/water is carried on all walks, clean secure transportation is provided to one of our lovely local parks (eg Leasowes, Haden Hill) as well as gorgeous walks at Clent and other nearby beauty spots. Location chosen is based on the dog(s) being walked at the time and factors such as the weather.
17. Leigh F.
“Leigh, Pippa and their pup Lily have been the perfect choice to take care of our Bichon Frise, Ernie. They were very informative from start to finish. They met with us prior to his stay, and were happy to answer any questions we had. During his stay, they shared lots of photos, messages and videos, so we could see how happy he was with them. He looked super comfortable and very much at home. It meant we didn’t have to worry about him and we could enjoy our holiday. Leigh and Pippa are a lovely, friendly couple who, along with their pup, Lily offer a warm and welcoming home for your dog. I highly recommend them and we will definitely be using their services again.”
18. Bryony H.
“Bryony took wonderful care of our dog Benjie. It was obvious from the first meeting that she loves dogs and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Bryony. If you are looking for the best care available when you are not around, look no further than Bryony.”
19. Louise N.
“Lottie was most certainly made to feel part of Louise’s home and family. We felt so comfortable and reassured she was well taken care of. Amazing and caring sitter with regular updates. Thank you”
20. Kate & Fran W.
“Percy had the best time staying with Kate, Fran and Cooper. I received lots of photos and videos, and knew Percy was being well looked after and was having a great time, I don’t think he wanted to come home! Would definitely recommend :)”
