“Thanks for taking such good care of Edie she seems very relaxed and happy on pick up which to us meant she was comfortable in your care. When you have time we look forward to you sitting again. Best regards Corby & Stephen”

“Poppy and Rex had a wonderful time with Leah! She keps us in the loop for the entire time, and the photos we got were amazing. Thank you so much for looking after them, we'll definitely be booking with you again!”

“I could not rate Marlina highly enough. She took my little boy at very last minute for an overnight stay and was my first time using Rover. I was a bit nervous but on meeting her felt very reassured. Marlina was so gentle and loving to my boy straight away. The house is so lovely and has such a big garden my little boy loved it. I was kept updated all the way throughout with photos and videos and he looked like he was having such a fun time I didn’t think he would want to come home! I would definitely use Marlina again ..thank you so much 😊, lovely lady, lovely home, great all round.”

“Irene and Jon took such wonderful care of Yoki while we were away for the week. It was clear from the moment we picked him up how happy and settled he’d been — he absolutely loved his stay with them! He enjoyed plenty of walks, lots of playtime, and an abundance of cuddles, which is exactly what he thrives on. They treated him like part of the family and kept us reassured while we were away. We would definitely recommend Irene and Jon and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. 🐾”

“Julie was very accommodating and agreed to have Alfie at short notice. She listened to his needs and we believe he was very comfortable and enjoyed his overnight stay at her home. We would happily recommend.”

“Really lovely couple and their dog Cheddar is the sweetest, their house is also lovely and Mabel looked like she had the best time. Really good communication and would highly recommend.”

“My pup was with Eva for a week. It was the first time I’ve left her for longer than a night with someone other than family but Eva put my mind at ease by assuring me that my dog would never be alone as someone was always in the house with her. My pup has allergies and is quite anxious in general but these traits weren’t an issue for Eva. I was updated with regular pictures and snippets about their days, which was really appreciated - and my pup was given her own water bucket to lounge in during the heatwave and her walks were done during the cooler hours which was perfect. When I returned, my pup wasn’t sure who to go to, so I saw that a good sign that she was well looked after and happy during her stay! Very happy with the care provided and I would gladly book Eva again in the future.”

“Braithwaite had an overnight stay with Peter and Jane, was treated to ball games, a 6 mile walk, plenty of cuddles. He was smiling so widely on collection so I can only say this is a 5 star dog sitter. Much appreciated”

“Rosie absolutely loved staying with Kate. She kept me up to date with how Rosie was doing and set me lots of pictures! I will definitely be using Kate again and recommending her to others x”

About: Hi, I’m Joanna, a dedicated and caring dog sitter based in Worcester. I offer a safe, calm, and loving home environment where your dog will be treated like part of the family. I live in a house with a secure garden, in a quiet area close to woods and parks, perfect for peaceful walks and plenty of outdoor time. I have years of experience caring for dogs, including my own rescue dog who had separation anxiety, IBS, and IBD. I understand how important patience, routine, and gentle care are, especially for dogs with additional needs. I’m confident in giving medication and providing extra support where required, just let me know what your dog needs. I used to have a dog and miss the comfort of their company, so I’d love to provide a calm, caring environment for your furry friend. I have an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Animal Care, which has given me a strong understanding of animal welfare, behaviour and health. Iwork in a primary school, which means I have all school holidays, weekends, and bank holidays off—giving me plenty of time to care for your dog while you’re away. I’m a mum to a 7 year - old girl and offer dog sitting in my home only. We have a big, secure garden and live in a quiet area of Worcester with lots of parks and fields nearby. Your dog will get plenty of love, care, and attention.

We are all so grateful for having a mini break without worrying about my baby boy 💙🐶 Logan was so happy when I collected him and I could see the bond he had made with Therese - he had so many cuddles, lots of walks, playing with his football, kept cool in the hot weather and was spoilt with salmon and duck pate ☺️ This was my first time leaving Logan but Therese put my mind at ease with regular updates and pictures - I can honestly say we will be booking Therese again! About: We understand from having dogs who do not like being left how important it is to have them cared for in a home environment. Our dog has full run of the house, sleeps on the bed and sofa and has three walks a day. My husband, Mark and I work from home and regularly look after friends pets when they go away from home. Recently, we looked after a springer spaniel for 6 weeks. However, our daughter is a vet so we understand that each dog has different needs and we would maintain any specific routine for your dog. Around 7 in the morning we go for our first walk of the day , then feed breakfast. Then another walk at lunchtime and we finish with an evening walk followed by supper. Our large garden is fully enclosed and dogs are not left on their own. Happy to follow a similar routine to what they have at their home.
The median cost per night for dog boarding in Malvern Hills is £33

- Offers a secure, home-like environment that is clean and welcoming

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
