About: We lost our beloved cocker spaniel earlier this year. Abi was 13.5 years old and we had her since she was a puppy…so we have experienced all the stages from high energy puppy to the later stages of patience, peace and quiet including giving the necessary oral/topical medication. Both of us grew up in households full of pets as well, so dogs have always been a part of our lives. We've also loved dog sitting for friends. We are not ready to adopt another dog yet but we miss their company very much and we would love to look after your dog. We are a couple in our mid-50s, who both work part-time from home (we are self-employed, so don’t tend to work to a schedule), which means we have the flexibility to work around the needs of your dog. We understand that different pets/owners have different requirements and are always ready to be flexible – following usual routines for walks / feeding / play time. We have a fully fenced garden where dogs can safely play and relax. We provide a home-from-home experience, allowing all dogs full access to our house so they can relax wherever they feel most comfortable (as per your instructions). If your dog prefers a crate, we have room for you to bring your own crate to give them their own cosy retreat.
About: Hi, I'm Victoria, the owner of The Pug House in beautiful Malvern, Worcestershire. I've spent over 12 years owning and caring for pugs and understand that they're much more than just pets, they're family. That's why I created the kind of place we'd happily leave my own dogs. Our home offers a calm, loving environment where dogs become part of the family. Guests have free run of the house, a large secure garden to explore, plenty of cosy places to snooze, and lots of companionship throughout the day. We only welcome a small number of dogs at a time, ensuring every guest receives the love, attention and personalised care they deserve. While pugs are our speciality, we're also happy to welcome other small breeds where they're a good fit, particularly if they're the sibling of one of our pug guests. I'm DBS checked, committed to providing the highest standard of care, and am completing a Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) qualification. Regular photo updates come as standard, so you can relax knowing your best friend is having a wonderful holiday of their own. We can't wait to welcome you to The Pug House. Caring for dogs fits naturally into our daily routine. I work from home full-time, so there's plenty of company throughout the day and very little time spent alone. We welcome boarding throughout the week and at weekends, with flexible drop-off and collection by arrangement. Your dog will be treated as part of our family, joining us for walks, playtime, sofa cuddles and plenty of naps in between. Your dog's safety and happiness are our top priorities. We have a fully enclosed, large secure garden and a relaxed home environment where dogs are free to enjoy every room alongside us, just as they would at home. We have over 12 years' experience owning and caring for pugs and understand the breed's unique needs, including breathing, wrinkle care and keeping cool in warmer weather. I'm DBS checked, amd am about to complete aCanine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) qualification. We only accept a small number of dogs at a time, allowing us to provide plenty of individual attention and a calm, personalised experience.
“Wow! What can I say about Logan’s new pal Therese. We are all so grateful for having a mini break without worrying about my baby boy 💙🐶 Logan was so happy when I collected him and I could see the bond he had made with Therese - he had so many cuddles, lots of walks, playing with his football, kept cool in the hot weather and was spoilt with salmon and duck pate ☺️ This was my first time leaving Logan but Therese put my mind at ease with regular updates and pictures - I can honestly say we will be booking Therese again! Logan has made a real good pal 💙🐶 Thank you Therese - see you soon xx”

“Thank you Holly for taking loving care of Poppy today. It's so lovely to know she has someone who can in future look after her and spoil her in there own home. She's sleeping on the sofa next to.me now., so one happy Poppy.”

“Peter and Jane were fantastic looking after Bonnie. They sent us regular updates, took her for so many walks and trips out and generally just cared and loved her as if she was their own. I can’t recommend them enough and will absolutely be sending Bonnie back.”

“Kate had my dog for an overnight stay which included walks, feeds and sleeps. My dog can be a reactive to other dogs and will chase but Kate was not phased by this or my list of instructions! She provided updates and photos that were very welcome and gave me peace of mind. Very happy with service. Would recommend and use again. Thank you Kate.”

“This was the first time our 1 year old cocker spaniel had stayed with Joanna. Joanna was very welcoming and loving towards her and she bonded well. Joanna was sensitive to her needs in the heat and cared for her very well. We look forward to future stays”

“Anastasiia was nothing but short of amazing for having Bernie whilst we were away for 14 days. She was patient and sweet to Bernie and catered to his needs. Always updating on Bernie’s walks and antics Would 100% recommend her to anyone who is anxious on leaving their dogs whilst away, she made Bernie feel loved and welcomed at her place. Definitely would trust her with Bernie again 😊”

About: We understand from having dogs who do not like being left how important it is to have them cared for in a home environment. Our dog has full run of the house, sleeps on the bed and sofa and has three walks a day. My husband, Mark and I work from home and regularly look after friends pets when they go away from home. Recently, we looked after a springer spaniel for 6 weeks. However, our daughter is a vet so we understand that each dog has different needs and we would maintain any specific routine for your dog. Around 7 in the morning we go for our first walk of the day , then feed breakfast. Then another walk at lunchtime and we finish with an evening walk followed by supper. Our large garden is fully enclosed and dogs are not left on their own. Happy to follow a similar routine to what they have at their home.

“Serena looked after my cat, Aggie for 3 days over Christmas. I could not have asked for a better visitor. Full reports and reassuring photos and videos posted on the app. I have no hesitation recommending Serena to look after your pet while you are away and I hope she will be available again in future.”

“Rebecca was AMAZING, Very communicate, lots of pics sent, treated our cats amazingly, and left the house cleaner then when she arrived! Will absolutely use her again, every time she’s available!”

“Our rescue dog was well looked after by Marina. Great communication, and kept us informed of how our dog was during her care, great for our peace of mind. Very happy to recommend 🐾”

“Leanna and Lauren did an amazing job of looking after my 2 cats. They took the time to get to know the cats and their personalities and fussed & played with them as well as feeding them and administering medication (tablets and eye ointment) to one of the cats. They sent detailed updates and lovely photos. Unfortunately one of my cats became ill and they quickly identified the problem and let me know straight away. Using a cat sitter when my cat was unwell and needing medication was difficult but Leanna and Lauren showed a lot of care and compassion and were very reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again.”

About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs and have always loved being around animals 🐱🐶. Over the years I’ve gained plenty of experience caring for cats and understanding their different personalities. I know that every cat is different – some love attention and playtime, while others prefer a calmer visit and a bit of quiet company. I’m happy to adapt to whatever makes your cat feel most comfortable in their own home. When caring for your cat, I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean litter tray, and plenty of attention so they feel relaxed and well looked after while you’re away.

About: I have had cats majority of my life, from having to help them birthing their kittens, having to help the kittens by bottle feeding them as well as looking after elderly cats up until they passed

“Aline looked after our cat whilst we were on holiday and clearly took great care of her! She’s attentive, has a lovely home for pets and was great with communication, sending us lots of photos whilst we were away. We’d happily book Aline again!”

“Leah’s lovely. I felt happy Scout was safe in her care, her house and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Scout has a few special needs because of his sight disability and Leah took all of this on board, and I could tell he instantly felt settled in her space. I highly recommend her.”

“Casper can be a bit nervous but Julie was wonderful, helped him settle and he had a great day playing in the garden & a walk, and has come home exhausted. Thank you so much.”

“Our dog Heddwyn is typical of a cockapoo who follows his mum everywhere. We wondered how he would react to being left with someone he did not know. He was taken for a walk after we left him and all was fine. We were sent some photos of the walk and once back at Debbie’s house. Heddwyn had clearly settled well. We will be absolutely happy for Debbie to look after Heddwyn again.”

“From first meeting both Susan and Stephen my mind was put at ease. Both are considerate and listened to understand Terry’s do's and dont's to make the stay a pleasurable for everyone. Kept me updated and provided photos throughout. Terry returned a very happy dog with his tail wagging, which says it all. Thank you both for being so accommodating and understanding to Terry's "pawticular" requirements. It is evident you're dog lovers and Terry is looking forward to his next stay with you 😀”

“Holly has been amazing with my boy and I’ve absolutely loved the photos she sent, he looks so happy and he’s absolutely knackered from the walks and outdoor play. Thank you so much for looking after him and the feedback ❤️”

“Absolutely incredible care, this was the first time Bernie was with someone who wasn't a family member and he loved every second of it, the picture updates sent made my day whilst I was stuck at work and he came home a very happy puppy, thank you so much for the love you showed to him 💕”

“Baloo and Misha had a lovely time and were well looked after. They’re not the easiest dogs, but Peter handled them really well and was calm, friendly, and helpful throughout (even helping me adjust the booking so I wasn’t overcharged). He has a great setup in a lovely part of the world. Would recommend to anyone!”

About: Hi, I’m 25 and live in my own home with my boyfriend Jack and our Dutch Shepherd, Jett, who is a huge part of our lives and truly our pride and joy. I work from home full-time, which means I’m able to provide plenty of attention, supervision and companionship throughout the day. I offer dog sitting and doggy daycare in my home, dog walking and drop-in visits, giving you flexible options depending on what your dog needs. I don’t currently offer overnight boarding, as I feel many dogs are more comfortable and settled either spending the day with me or staying in their own familiar home overnight. My boyfriend has experience with obedience training, and together we’ve put a lot of time and effort into training Jett, including working on his reactivity and teaching him a variety of commands and tricks. This has given us a good understanding of the importance of patience, consistency and positive training when caring for dogs. I’ve also grown up around dogs, including a Beagle, American Bulldog and Cocker Spaniel, so I’m familiar with different breeds, personalities and the different ways dogs can behave. I’ve also cared for family and friends’ dogs, taken them for walks and looked after them when needed. Having Jett of our own has given me even more hands-on experience and taught me how important it is to understand each dog as an individual. Having recently looked for a dog sitter ourselves, I know how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with your dog. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality and needs, and I’ll always do my best to keep things consistent and make them feel comfortable and settled. Whether your dog needs some company while you’re at work, a good walk, a drop-in visit or somewhere to spend the day, I aim to provide a calm, safe and loving environment where they’ll receive plenty of attention and care. Your dog will be treated as one of the family, with their wellbeing, comfort and happiness always being my priority. Most importantly, I want you to have complete peace of mind knowing your dog is in safe, caring and trustworthy hands. At home, we follow a structured but relaxed routine, and dogs staying with us for daycare can easily fit into our day. Our mornings start early, with my boyfriend getting up at around 5:30am and letting Jett out for a toilet break, followed by his morning walk around 30 minutes later. Once we’re back home, Jett has his breakfast and settles into a calm morning routine with me while I work from home. As I work from home every day, dogs in our care are never left alone and will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day. They’re welcome to relax with me while I work, have cuddles, play with toys or simply settle down for a nap. We have a calm home environment and are happy to follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. Jett is a very affectionate dog who loves being around us and enjoys cuddles, playtime and relaxing at home. He has plenty of toys and enjoys interactive play throughout the day. Due to Jett being an active breed, we have a good amount of exercise built into our routine, including a mid-day walk and a longer evening walk. However, we always take each dog’s individual age, breed, energy levels and needs into consideration rather than expecting every dog to follow Jett’s routine. We’re also happy to accommodate your dog’s usual feeding, toilet and walking schedule wherever possible, so they can enjoy a familiar routine while they’re with us. At weekends, we enjoy exploring local woods, hills and other dog-friendly places, as well as spending relaxed time at home and in the garden. We can also provide dog walking and drop-in visits if your dog would be happier staying in their own home. Our aim is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe and included, whether they’re spending the day with us or we’re visiting them in their own home. Every dog is treated as an individual, with plenty of love, attention and care throughout their time with us. As mentioned, I work from home full-time, so dogs in my care are never left alone for long periods and receive plenty of supervision, attention and companionship throughout the day. I understand that every dog is different, so I always aim to follow each dog’s individual routine as closely as possible. This includes their usual feeding times, toilet breaks, walks, rest periods and any training or behavioural needs. I believe consistency is really important in helping dogs feel comfortable and settled, particularly when they are spending time away from their owners. For dogs attending daycare or being cared for in my home, there is a safe and relaxed environment where they can rest, play, have cuddles and receive plenty of interaction throughout the day. I’m happy to provide toys and enrichment suited to each dog, while also making sure they have quiet time when they need it. Our own dog, Jett, is used to being around other dogs, but I understand that every dog has a different personality and comfort level. Any introductions are handled carefully and gradually, with the dogs’ individual needs and safety always coming first. Walks are tailored to each dog’s age, breed, energy levels and ability. This could be a shorter local walk, a longer outing or simply some play and mental stimulation at home, depending on what is most appropriate for them. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits, so if your dog is more comfortable staying in their own home, I can provide care in their familiar environment instead. My aim is to provide reliable, caring and personalised support, whether your dog is spending the day with me, going out for a walk or receiving a visit at home. I want every owner to have complete peace of mind knowing their dog is being treated with the same care and attention I would want for Jett.

“Andrew was very quick to respond to our last minute request and very accommodating around our requirements for timings . Our two dogs were well looked after and came away happy . Would definitely recommend”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs since I was 5 years old, within a family revolving around guide dogs. I’ve joined in with training guide dog puppies and taken many dog walks over the years. Now having moved away from home I miss the daily interaction with dogs! I work full time as a physiotherapist but have evenings and weekends free to care for your pets. I live with my partner who has an equal love for dogs and has more time on his hands, so would be keen to help out where needed! I live in a terraced house with a small garden in the centre of Worcester, a very short distance to the river, with many options nearby for areas for your pets to have a good run around!
