About: I’ve had dogs all my life and currently have my own dachshund, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your dog. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, routines and needs, and I’m patient, attentive and caring. I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles while you’re away, and I’ll always treat them like my own. I work from home Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, so I’m around throughout the day. I can provide regular attention, toilet breaks and company, with walks before or after work and plenty of time for longer walks and play in the evenings and at weekends. About: I live in Digbeth, in the city centre, in an apartment close to a park. I can offer 3–4 walks a day, depending on what your dog needs. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, so I’ve always been comfortable around them and genuinely enjoy their company. I also have a little Yorkie girl of my own, who loves playing with other dogs and is very friendly. I’d be happy to look after your dog and make sure they feel comfortable, get plenty of walks and lots of attention while they’re with me. I live near a park, so they’ll have easy access to regular walks and plenty of outdoor time. I’m also used to cooking for my own dog from time to time, so if your pet needs home-cooked food or has a specific diet, I’m happy to prepare their meals according to your instructions. I’ll always make sure they feel comfortable, safe and well looked after while they’re with me.

About: I have lived with dogs since I was a child, and my family in China has an 18-year-old small dog, so I understand how much love, patience and routine pets need at every stage of life. In the UK, I have also helped look after my friends’ dogs, including Dachshunds, Border Collies and Cocker Spaniels. About: I have looked after my mums dog numerous times and I love animals so much. I don’t have my own dog but I do know how to make a dog happy Hey I’m a full time ballet dancer and I go to work at 10:00 and usually come home at around 6:30pm. I have breaks so could home in between rehearsals if needed. When it’s a show week I probably wouldn’t be able to dog sit. About: We are Joe and Elise, a young professional couple, both in our late twenties. We have always lived with dogs until we moved into our own house four years ago. We used to regularly dog sit for family, but they moved away last summer. We still sporadically dog sit for friends either for the day or while they’re on holiday. About: Hi, I'm Yasmin. I'm a dog lover and have a lovely 10 month old miniature dachshund. I work from home and live in an apartment in Birmingham City Centre, we go outside for walks/ toilet breaks around 3 times per day. I have lots of time available to look after little fur babies and my pup is a complete princess so anyone that joins us will be well loved. My dog is very friendly and loves other dogs. I am more than happy to share lots of updates and photos🩷. I have previously had a senior Bichon Frise with medical needs, so I am also confident with senior dogs and administering some medications. I work from home in a very flexible job so can give attention and walks as and when needed. Our current routine is a toilet trip outside in the morning as soon as we wake up, a proper walk at lunch time, a toilet break outside after dinner and another quick trip outside before bed. I work from home so can be very flexible on this. I am happy with dogs on furniture etc. Any outside time is always on a leash. I have an outdoor area at my apartment but often go for walks beyond this around the city or local parks. My dog is a miniature dachshund so we always use the lift rather than stairs to protect her back when going in and out, I also have foam stairs for her to get onto furniture.

He usually doesn’t eat for a day or two with anyone except me, but with her and Kieran he ate within the first hour and settled in like he was with his own family. Holly is absolutely lovely! She was fast at responding and was easy to communicate with. We visited holly with Cali to talk about her needs and daily routine. Straight away we knew holly was the person to look after our dog whilst we went on holiday! She listened to everything we told her and was more than happy to agree to look after Cali. We dropped Cali off in the agreed date and time and holly greeted us and took Cali and her things, we were very nervous as we have never left our dog before but holly reassured us and sent us daily pictures and updates. Cali looked very happy on the photos and was very well looked after! Holly was a lifesaver at such short notice! We would definitely use holly again in the future! Xx

Jodie went above and beyond, to make sure that my dog was comfortable and happy during her stay, we had regular updates and photos to reassure us that she was safe and happy. On the first night my dog wouldn't settle on her own, so Jodie went and slept on the sofa with her. What other pet sitter would go that far to ensure her happiness? Wivi and Alex are, without question, the best dog sitters I’ve ever had. Kobes is a large, high-energy breed who needs someone confident, experienced and genuinely skilled with bigger dogs and he certainly doesn’t take to just anyone. They are absolutely brilliant with him, and I trust them completely. I visited several potential sitters before finding them, and Wivi and Alex were head and shoulders above everyone else I met. Kobes loves spending time with them, and it’s clear they understand his personality and know exactly how to manage him. On top of that, they’re both genuinely lovely people. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
We had such a lovely experience. Our dog stayed with her for two weeks and came home happy, settled and clearly very well looked after. She sent us regular updates, photos and videos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
