Happy dog home!!
I've had dogs my entire life. Our current home comes with two furry friends of our own who love the company of other dogs. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes, including many with unique needs. One of our own dogs is blind, so I have particular experience supporting dogs with visual impairments. I'm also very comfortable managing medication schedules and special dietary requirements, so your dog's routine stays consistent while you're away.

We needed last minute care for our Lurcher Lenny and Alasdair and family were great. We had a relaxed meet and greet and our dog was more than happy to return to the house for drop off. The house and garden are really spacious and we had regular updates from Alasdair. They asked all the important questions about Lenny’s care and they are clearly knowledgable about dogs. It sounds like Lenny really enjoyed spending time with their two huskies. Thank you!

Schedule
Between myself and family someone is home pretty much the entire time. Dog walks and, if you're dog is happy to be involved, runs are a normal part of everyday. We have plenty of spare running harnesses. Dogs are part of the family day to day.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large securely fenced garden which the team have constant access to, subject to the weather. Our own two dogs are a little older, but still love a play and are always happy to keep a guest company. Both our dogs very relaxed and quickly settle into having another dog around, if your dog is a little nervous, it's always good to let us know and we can arrange a meet and greet before. If your dog is used to being crated that's great, we can easily accommodate their crate or a travel crate, if not that also fine, they'll be given the space they need.

A typical day
If your dog is anything like ours it's important to get the day underway with a meal. Depending on your dogs needs and things like the the weather, walks get moved where fits best. Garden access is a constant. Depending on your dog, we can play games or if a good belly rub and a snuggle is preferred that's always on offer.
