“Shannon, thank you. Truly. Knowing my Blu was in safe hands, having little day trips and surrounded by love made leaving her for the first time a little easier. Shannon took the time to keep me updated throughout each day Blu was with her which was just a lovely extra little touch. Highly recommended and will use time and time again ☺️ Thank you again, Shannon!”

“Oksana look after Ollie so well, I think he is missing his temporary new home as soon as we get back. Plenty of updates, walks with other fur-friends to keep him occupied. Can't thank Oksana enough for Ollie's few days of pleasant stay! Would definitely recommend to everyone!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life, our current home is comes with two furry friends who also love other dogs. With my own dogs over the years we've had extensive experience looking dogs of various breeds and also experience of dogs with different needs, one of our dogs is blind so particular experience with that Very experienced with looking after any medication needs or unique dietary needs. Between myself and family someone is home pretty much the entire time. Dog walks and, if you're dog is happy to be involved, runs are a normal part of everyday. We have plenty of spare running harnesses. Dogs are part of the family day to day. We have a large securely fenced garden which the team have constant access to, subject to the weather. Our own two dogs are a little older, but still love a play and are always happy to keep a guest company. Both our dogs very relaxed and quickly settle into having another dog around, if your dog is a little nervous, it's always good to let us know and we can arrange a meet and greet before. If your dog is used to being crated that's great, we can easily accommodate their crate or a travel crate, if not that also fine, they'll be given the space they need.
“Greta and her family were absolutely AMAZING with our border collie Monty! He was so happy and settled with them for the 10 days whilst we were away! This is the first time that we were unable to leave Monty with a family member due to everyone attending a wedding abroad in America, so we were nervous to do so. But the process of getting to know Greta and her family in the lead up to leaving Monty was such a pleasure! They took careful time to learn so much about Monty, he was so loved whilst with them, we were supplied with daily updates, photos and videos which meant we were constantly informed of Monty's adventures. The family matched his energy perfectly - it was almost as if he didn't want to leave and that is a testament to the families care and kindness! I could not recommend Greta enough and would certainly leave Monty with Greta again - THANK YOU!”

“Pratik and Avnee were wonderful with Cookie. Attentive to his little ways. He settled back home quickly which shows he was well looked after. Would definitely use them again.”

“Anabel was absolutely amazing with Cookie! She was reliable, caring, and treated Cookie as if she were her own. Throughout my trip, Anabel provided regular updates, which gave me great peace of mind and reassurance that Cookie was in safe and loving hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after her. I would highly recommend Anabel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.”

About: Growing up, I always looked after my neighbours cats as my parents wouldn’t get me one. During Covid, I rescued Molly (a lionhead rabbit) and then found her a partner after a year. It was so relaxing to look after furry friends that I decided to get a small dog. Being fully occupied with three pets was entertaining and rewarding at the same time. Alfie (my young Shihtzu) came in to my life as special friend, and our bond is made in heaven. He’s been through a few surgeries due to his genetic disorder so my partner and I look after him with extra care, and give him the diva treatment cause he deserves every happiness in life. While treating Alfie, we have learned so much about dog care, training, grooming, nutrition and health management that we can diagnose health concerns often by looking at him. We all know our pets really well. My partner and I have become experts in dog care. Alfie loves playing with other dogs, so I have decided to open our flat for boarding and day care. Alfie would love to play with other small/medium dogs. Our first floor apartment is safe and we have a fenced garden downstairs, with access to additional park across the road. We also have all the dog essentials and grooming supplies if required. I’m an assistant professor at the University, and have been teaching for over 9 years, particularly to Year-1 who are new to the universities. I’ve consistently received 95% student satisfaction rate and my students would describe me as ‘trustworthy, reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive’. I teach a few hours at the University, and work from home the remaining hours. I shall be looking after your pet on the days I’m working from home. During the school holidays, there are no classes so I work from home, if I need to. I take Alfie down for walks at least three times a day, sometimes more. Due to Alfie’s history, I’m vigilant about dog safety and pay extra care in ensuring his safety. I will do the same for your dog. There’s a fenced garden downstairs and another across the road. It’s a safe neighbourhood and most residents know me and my partner. I’m reliable and friendly, so your dog will be in good hands.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats the majority of my life. I’ve always had Dogs and believe they are our family. I have a special bond with animals as I genuinely love them. My neighbours and friends counted on me to babysit and walk their pets when they were on holiday. In Amsterdam , I was a part time pet sitter /walker for 5 years. I work part time from home so I have plenty of time to play and care for your pup. I’m available for walks daily and pet sitting the majority of the week. I can care for your pet according to your preferences. Just let me know what Works best for your pet and I’ll get it done. Along with tons of cuddles 🐶
“This is the second time I've asked Gina to take care of my dog, but the first time that he has stayed overnight. Gina was splendid. My dog seemed very comfortable and happy, which is very reassuring. I will definitely ask her to take care of him again.”

“Absolutely perfect stay. Bailey was well looked after, lots of walks and lots of cuddles. He came home very happy and we can tell he has had a lovely time. I would highly recommend Liliana. Thank you.”

About: Your little doggo will have the most amount of attention in our flat as we don't have any pets of our own at the moment. My partner and I grew up (separately!) having both had Yorkshire terriers. I love spending time with dogs, and our location in city centre in the JQ areas offers lovely little parks and walking areas perfect for local dogs who are used to the area. I have taken care of family and friends animals in the past and will care take watching your little doggo. A little bonus is we have a vet who is a friend and neighbour in the building! I work from home so I'm very flexible. I would at minimum walk a dog twice a day: once in the morning and once in the evening before dinner. If you have specific walking times I am happy to accommodate them if possible. We have a big two bedroom, with a nice large living room/kitchen. It is still a flat so at the moment we're only accepting small-medium doggos for their own comfort.
“Emily is just the absolute best, she knows how much Harley is loved by us and shows him the same love too, he loves being with her and always comes back as the most chilled dog ever! I never hesitate to book Emily if we have any trips planned!! 🥰🥰🥰”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of various breeds. I have a golden retriever myself and enjoy helping my friend with their dog. I regularly walk and play with them, ensuring they receive the exercise and attention they need. I’m comfortable with training and can help with basic commands as well. I currently study my final year in university , which gives me plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends and during weekdays after 12pm or even can be morning as well. I love spending time with dogs and ensuring they have a fun and safe experience. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dogs to keep your pet company. This space allows for safe playtime, and I’m dedicated to providing a loving environment for your furry friends.

“Thank you so much Laura for a wonderful stay for our dogs. They have clearly been really well looked after and the returned to us happy and healthy. I think they’d like to stay again!”

“Laura and Ben are great with our Dottie. She loves playing with Leo (and apparently bossing Oscar around) and comes back to us tired and happy (and little sad missing the boys). We feel confident and reassured she’s in good hands :)”

“The best dog-sitter I've ever had. Potato had an amazing time, and will be going again as soon as I need a sitter again. 10 stars, 5 isnt enough. He didn't want to come home!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. My family home has never been without one. I have 2 dogs currently a 13yrs bichon frise cross and a 2yr old golden doodle cross living at my parents. They come and stay with me when my parents need dog sitting. I have looked after friends dogs of all different breeds and sizes from dachshunds to cane corso. So no matter the age or size, we would get on just fine. I’ve had cats since I was 12yrs old. My first cat was a 14yr old rescue that required extra attention with medication etc. At my parents I Currently have a cat called Nelly and her son Minford. He was 1 of the 4 kitten she had that we kept. Having a pregnant cat that gave birth in your care is an amazing experience in itself so I’m very familiar with looking after and meeting the needs of cats and kittens of all ages. I’m currently working self employed at the moment on call waiting for jobs. I can be out of the house for 1-2hrs at a time during the day or some days not at all. I live in an apartment block but have an outdoor courtyard and grass park 2 minutes walk away. They would have access to any many toilet breaks as they need and we can take a walk to the park.
“I am so grateful to Charlotte for looking after Thor, our 7 year old German Shepherd overnight! This was his first time away from home since we got him from the Dogs Trust over a year ago and I was anxious that he may not settle well. Charlotte was extremely caring, thoughtful and professional. She was gentle with him and he made him feel at home, she texted me regularly to let me know how he settles and confirm his preferences and she also shared photos from his stay. When I picked him up he looked really happy, energetic and very well looked after. I am planning to rebook with Charlotte for a longer stay soon and I strongly recommend her!”

If I could put many more stars I would! Sylwia is professional and yet so caring, she treats the dogs as if they were her own. She even got her husband to make a ramp for my elderly Staffy to help her get into the garden easier. I feet comfort knowing I have left my three dogs in good hands. Sylwia is the best dog sitter I have had and I thought the other ones were great before they retired.
Deechen is an active carer who gives updates regularly and treats pets as if they are her own. I am extremely happy that deechen could look after coco for the week i spent on holiday. She sent many pictures and updates of how he was feeling and getting on, overall i was satisfied with her demeanour and politeness. Amazing job!!

Aurora was and is absolutely fantastic. honestly we can not be happier. The way she looked after our boy like he was her own was amazing. we had no worry at all. She gave us amazing updates and really did give Nano so much love. He came back to us relaxed and refreshed. Not only did she take care of him, the way everything was handed back over was brilliant. Aurora has a love for dogs that we have not experianced with others. Not only is she an amazing dog sitter but sucha genuinely lovely person!

Beatrix really, genuinely cared for my dog. I honestly couldn't have been more impressed. I received plenty of beautifully shot videos & photos. Always providing a thoughtful & highly approachable attitude throughout the entire process. Have no qualms, highly recommended! 5*

We boarded our dog Bella with Mani for 4 nights. This was the first time we had boarded her anywhere. We couldn't be happier with the care our dog received! From the moment we met Mani, it was clear he genuinely loved and understood dogs. He kept us updated with regular photos and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious she had plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout her stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mani to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional dog boarder. Thank you for treating our dog like one of your own—we'll definitely be booking again!
From start to end, Laryssa was brilliant with managing our booking - from the initial meet and greet where she was calm & confident with a strong German Shepherd, through to terrific flexibility over drop off and collect times. Mella took to her immediately and seemed very calm and settled when collected. Regular updates were provided to put our minds at rest and comms were strong - Mella was cared for during the difficult heatwave too - thank you so much: highly recommended. :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
