About: We are Joe and Elise, a young professional couple, both in our late twenties. We have always lived with dogs until we moved into our own house four years ago. We used to regularly dog sit for family, but they moved away last summer. We still sporadically dog sit for friends either for the day or while they’re on holiday. We miss regularly spending time with dogs, but aren’t in a position to get one currently. We would love to spend time and look after yours! We have no pets or children in our home. We both work from home and very rarely have meetings at the same time, so will always be able to let your dog out in the garden, and take them for walks throughout the day. We have a fenced garden and no other pets or children. We live in the centre of Moseley and have access to the private park, so will be able to take your dog out for quick walks or longer strolls throughout the day.
About: I live in Digbeth, in the city centre, in an apartment close to a park. I can offer 3–4 walks a day, depending on what your dog needs. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, so I’ve always been comfortable around them and genuinely enjoy their company. I also have a little Yorkie girl of my own, who loves playing with other dogs and is very friendly. I’d be happy to look after your dog and make sure they feel comfortable, get plenty of walks and lots of attention while they’re with me. I work remotely, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pets throughout the day. I live close to a park, which makes it easy to fit in regular walks and outdoor time. I also don’t have any holiday plans for the next few weeks, so I’m available and happy to give your pet plenty of attention, care, and company. I’d love to make pet care a natural part of my daily routine! Pets will stay in my home, where I can give them plenty of attention and keep a close eye on them. I live near a park, so they’ll have easy access to regular walks and plenty of outdoor time. I’m also used to cooking for my own dog from time to time, so if your pet needs home-cooked food or has a specific diet, I’m happy to prepare their meals according to your instructions. I’ll always make sure they feel comfortable, safe and well looked after while they’re with me.

About: I have lived with dogs since I was a child, and my family in China has an 18-year-old small dog, so I understand how much love, patience and routine pets need at every stage of life. In the UK, I have also helped look after my friends’ dogs, including Dachshunds, Border Collies and Cocker Spaniels. I have experience with feeding, walking, playing, keeping dogs company and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and I always try to understand each dog’s personality, habits and needs. I will follow the owner’s instructions carefully and keep them updated with messages and photos. I am currently a student, so my schedule is very flexible. I am usually available on both weekdays and weekends, and I can plan around each pet’s routine. I live in a pet-friendly apartment with safe indoor space, and there is a small dog park at the apartment for walks and toilet breaks.
“Ziyi was wonderful. The communication from start to finish aas great. Lots of lovely photos and reassurance that our Teddy was settled and happy. 100% reccomend and look forward to booking with you again xx”

About: I have looked after my mums dog numerous times and I love animals so much. I don’t have my own dog but I do know how to make a dog happy Hey I’m a full time ballet dancer and I go to work at 10:00 and usually come home at around 6:30pm. I have breaks so could home in between rehearsals if needed. When it’s a show week I probably wouldn’t be able to dog sit. As I finish very late I live in a ground floor flat with a balcony and easy access to the outside. It’s a comfy flat and I would look after your pet well
About: Hi, I'm Yasmin. I'm a dog lover and have a lovely 10 month old miniature dachshund. I work from home and live in an apartment in Birmingham City Centre, we go outside for walks/ toilet breaks around 3 times per day. I have lots of time available to look after little fur babies and my pup is a complete princess so anyone that joins us will be well loved. My dog is very friendly and loves other dogs. I am more than happy to share lots of updates and photos🩷. I have previously had a senior Bichon Frise with medical needs, so I am also confident with senior dogs and administering some medications. I work from home in a very flexible job so can give attention and walks as and when needed. Our current routine is a toilet trip outside in the morning as soon as we wake up, a proper walk at lunch time, a toilet break outside after dinner and another quick trip outside before bed. I work from home so can be very flexible on this. I am happy with dogs on furniture etc. Any outside time is always on a leash. I have an outdoor area at my apartment but often go for walks beyond this around the city or local parks. My dog is a miniature dachshund so we always use the lift rather than stairs to protect her back when going in and out, I also have foam stairs for her to get onto furniture.
“Greta and her family were absolutely AMAZING with our border collie Monty! He was so happy and settled with them for the 10 days whilst we were away! This is the first time that we were unable to leave Monty with a family member due to everyone attending a wedding abroad in America, so we were nervous to do so. But the process of getting to know Greta and her family in the lead up to leaving Monty was such a pleasure! They took careful time to learn so much about Monty, he was so loved whilst with them, we were supplied with daily updates, photos and videos which meant we were constantly informed of Monty's adventures. The family matched his energy perfectly - it was almost as if he didn't want to leave and that is a testament to the families care and kindness! I could not recommend Greta enough and would certainly leave Monty with Greta again - THANK YOU!”

About: Hi! I’m a PhD student based in the UK and a genuine cat lover. Over the past year, I’ve regularly looked after my landlord’s cat, taking care of feeding, grooming, administering oral medication, cleaning litter trays, and providing companionship while respecting the cat’s individual personality and boundaries. I understand that every cat is different. Some are very social, while others need time and space to feel comfortable. I’m patient, reliable, and attentive to their behaviour, and I always prioritise their wellbeing and routine. Whether your cat enjoys playing, cuddling, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence around, I’ll make sure they receive the care they need while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for your cat as if they were my own.

About: As a cat owner myself, I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your cat while you're away. That's why I always take the time to get to know their routine and ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you're away. I have experience caring for kittens, adult cats, and senior cats, and I'm confident following detailed care instructions, including feeding routines, litter tray maintenance, playtime, grooming, and administering medication when required. Whether your cat is energetic and sociable or shy and independent, I'll adapt my approach to suit them. I'm reliable, calm, and attentive, and I treat every cat as if they were my own. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos, giving you complete peace of mind while you're away. My priority is to provide loving, dependable care so your cat stays happy, relaxed, and comfortable.

About: I’ve lived with cats for years — a British Shorthair and a Ragdoll — so feeding, litter, brushing long coats, nail trims and spotting the early signs that something isn’t right are all second nature to me. I’m a postgraduate PhD student in Birmingham with a flexible schedule, so I can fit visits around your cat’s normal routine. I’m patient with shy or nervous cats, I’ll follow your feeding and medication instructions exactly, and I’ll send photos and a short update after every single visit.

She sent lots of updates, photos and videos throughout his stay, which really put my mind at ease. It was clear he was having a great time, and I’ll definitely be booking with Aurora again. Highly recommend! ❤️”

“Harper was incredibly caring with Brownie 🥹🥰 I could see how much fun he had, and for the first time, as soon as we got home, he went straight to bed 😂. I’m truly grateful for Harper's love and attention towards him. She shared photos and updates throughout their time together, and seeing them enjoy each other and Brownie settle in peacefully gave me a deep sense of comfort and confidence that he was in good hands 🫶🏾”

I currently am self employed so I'm able to be fully flexible to you and your pets needs! Avaliable all hours, night or day, and all days of the week including weekends. I understand each animal is different, so I'll take the time to understand what you are comfortable with and your individual pets needs. I will always spend ample time not just doing the necessities, but going above and beyond to keep them feeling happy and loved.

“Thanks Gina.. She is very Kind and taken care of our tiger nicely.. she is friendly and shared lots of pictures and gave us piece of mind while we are away from our pet. I would definitely recommend Gina”

About: Your little doggo will have the most amount of attention in our flat as we don't have any pets of our own at the moment. My partner and I grew up (separately!) having both had Yorkshire terriers. I love spending time with dogs, and our location in city centre in the JQ areas offers lovely little parks and walking areas perfect for local dogs who are used to the area. I have taken care of family and friends animals in the past and will care take watching your little doggo. A little bonus is we have a vet who is a friend and neighbour in the building! I work from home so I'm very flexible. I would at minimum walk a dog twice a day: once in the morning and once in the evening before dinner. If you have specific walking times I am happy to accommodate them if possible. We have a big two bedroom, with a nice large living room/kitchen. It is still a flat so at the moment we're only accepting small-medium doggos for their own comfort.

About: I love animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with both cats and dogs. I’ve had the chance to look after different pets, and I always enjoy getting to know their little personalities. I’m an architect and currently building my own small business, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they need. I’m happy to stick to their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages, and I’ll care for your pet with the same patience and kindness I’d want for my own. I’m currently self-employed, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend quality time with your pet. I’m happy to work around their usual routine whenever possible. I’m naturally tidy and organised, and I often help people declutter and organise their homes. I’ll always respect your space and leave everything exactly as I found it.
“Amrita accepted a last minute change of schedule which I’m very grateful for. She took care of Bala and Lucifer and provided lots of updates. And they seem to have had a great time and slept a deep sleep when I picked them up. Would definitely book again.”

About: I’ve been around dogs all my life and have always felt very comfortable caring for them. I grew up with a Chow Chow, and dogs have been a big part of my wider family life too. Over the past year, I’ve also gained extensive hands-on experience through BorrowMyDoggy, where I developed a lovely long-term relationship with one particular dog. I regularly looked after her for full days twice a week while her owners were at work, took her on long walks, and cared for her overnight for stays of up to three days. This gave me experience not just with walking, but with getting to know a dog’s individual personality and routine, providing attentive care throughout the day, and building a relationship based on trust. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and am comfortable building a relationship with them over time, rather than seeing dog walking simply as a job. I’m calm, attentive and responsible, and I really enjoy being outdoors and giving dogs the exercise, companionship and care they need. I’m currently in a career transition, with my time split between occasional yoga teaching and independent work and study. This means I generally spend a lot of time at home and have good flexibility during the week. From January, I’ll be starting a master’s degree in physiotherapy. The beginning of the week will be more structured with lectures and practical sessions, while the rest of my week will involve a significant amount of independent study, so I’ll continue to have flexibility for dog walking and care around my timetable. I particularly enjoy having dogs as part of my day — getting outside for walks gives me a lovely break from working or studying at home. I’m happy to work around a dog’s usual routine and can discuss regular or occasional care depending on my availability. I like to give dogs a calm, homely experience and adapt to their individual personality and routine. From my experience caring for a dog through BorrowMyDoggy, I’ve found that a good balance of exercise, play, food, companionship and plenty of time to relax works really well. We would usually start with a good walk, followed by food and some playtime, and then settle into a quieter part of the day. I work and study from home quite a lot, so I’m very happy to have a dog keeping me company while they relax — whether that’s sleeping beside me while I work, having a cuddle, or simply settling somewhere comfortable nearby. I also have a terrace which the dog I currently care for uses for toilet breaks, which is particularly convenient in the city-centre setting. Of course, this would be in addition to regular walks and outdoor exercise, rather than replacing them. Most importantly, I take the time to understand each dog’s individual needs and routine, and I want them to feel safe, comfortable and cared for while they’re with me.

I am currently working from home on a freelance basis so my time is flexible. I can structure my day around your pet's needs and provide plenty of walks and breaks outside. I live next to several green spaces and can easily access fantastic walking routes of all different lengths for your dog. I am an incredibly structured and reliable person, so I can cater my time around your pet.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs throughout my life, especially my dog Storm holds a different place as the 5th member of the family. I am experienced with bathing, walking, puppy and day care. I have worked part-time in a veterinary two consecutive summers hence I am also experienced with special care like oral medication administration and much more! In Cyprus we have stray dogs everywhere which I love to look after them, especially if they are puppies. In UK, I miss my own dog and the feeling of dogs being around as they radiate positivity and friendship. I love going to walks at parks in the UK and would love an accompany! I am working from home hence I have plenty of time to take care of my furry friends ! My days are flexible and am able to accomodate according to your needs. I live in a flat with a balcony (fenced) however I am very close to parks hence we could head there without being on the main road. I do not have any dogs in UK as I am a student. - and miss my dog in Cyprus.
About: Growing up, I always looked after my neighbours cats as my parents wouldn’t get me one. During Covid, I rescued Molly (a lionhead rabbit) and then found her a partner after a year. It was so relaxing to look after furry friends that I decided to get a small dog. Being fully occupied with three pets was entertaining and rewarding at the same time. Alfie (my young Shihtzu) came in to my life as special friend, and our bond is made in heaven. He’s been through a few surgeries due to his genetic disorder so my partner and I look after him with extra care, and give him the diva treatment cause he deserves every happiness in life. While treating Alfie, we have learned so much about dog care, training, grooming, nutrition and health management that we can diagnose health concerns often by looking at him. We all know our pets really well. My partner and I have become experts in dog care. Alfie loves playing with other dogs, so I have decided to open our flat for boarding and day care. Alfie would love to play with other small/medium dogs. Our first floor apartment is safe and we have a fenced garden downstairs, with access to additional park across the road. We also have all the dog essentials and grooming supplies if required. I’m an assistant professor at the University, and have been teaching for over 9 years, particularly to Year-1 who are new to the universities. I’ve consistently received 95% student satisfaction rate and my students would describe me as ‘trustworthy, reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive’. I teach a few hours at the University, and work from home the remaining hours. I shall be looking after your pet on the days I’m working from home. During the school holidays, there are no classes so I work from home, if I need to. I take Alfie down for walks at least three times a day, sometimes more. Due to Alfie’s history, I’m vigilant about dog safety and pay extra care in ensuring his safety. I will do the same for your dog. There’s a fenced garden downstairs and another across the road. It’s a safe neighbourhood and most residents know me and my partner. I’m reliable and friendly, so your dog will be in good hands.

“We were absolutely delighted with Samiksha’s dog-sitting service. She was incredibly kind and went out of her way to come and meet us at the hotel where we were staying on holiday, while we attended a concert on Friday evening. She was punctual, flexible and absolutely lovely with our dog. She took Salty for a walk, kept him company and looked after him beautifully throughout the evening. She was also very respectful and careful with him in the hotel, both in the lounge and in our room. We felt completely reassured knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. We would definitely recommend Samiksha and would happily ask her to look after our dog again. Thank you so much! 🐾❤️”

About: I'm doing this for one simple reason: I genuinely, deeply love being around furry friends! Cats have always had my heart. I have my own sweet Indie cat back home in India named Nanni, which translates to little one, who I miss terribly every day. But when my girlfriend brought her two Golden Retrievers into my life, they completely won me over and showed me just how incredible dogs are, too. Now I'm totally hooked on both! I know your furry kids aren't just pets, they're family. Whether it's going for long tail-wagging walks, playing around, or just sitting together so they don't feel lonely while you're away, I'll treat them with the exact same warmth, patience, and affection I give my own. Your furry kids will always be safe, loved, and spoiled with attention with me. Because I work part-time, my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to give your furry friends all the attention they need! I'm completely free every day from early morning until 4 PM, which is perfect for morning walks, breakfast drop-ins, or mid-day play sessions. I also have full days off each week, so I can offer dedicated, full-day care and spend extended quality time keeping your furry kids safe, happy, and cozy while you're away. Safety and trust mean the world to me. Whether I'm caring for your furry kids in your home or out on walks, I treat your routine with complete respect. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes to keep them totally secure, strictly follow your feeding and care instructions, and make sure they feel calm, loved, and completely safe every second I'm with them!

I can provide regular attention, toilet breaks and company, with walks before or after work and plenty of time for longer walks and play in the evenings and at weekends. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog with someone you trust. I have had dogs all my life and will provide a calm, safe and caring environment. About: I've been looking after my friends' dogs since 2021 whenever they're away on holiday or travelling for work. Over the years, I've learned how to take care of dogs. I'm a patient, responsible, and caring person who genuinely loves spending time with dogs. Whether it's going for walks, playing, sticking to their usual routine, or simply giving them plenty of attention and cuddles, I always aim to provide the same level of care that I would want for my own. I am currently finishing up my PhD, so I have a very flexible schedule since I don't have a traditional 9-5 office job. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. I enjoy spending time with animals. I always care for each pet according to their individual routine and the owner's instructions. I understand that every pet has different needs, so I take the time to learn about their feeding schedule, exercise routine, favourite activities, and any special requirements. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

I live at home with my wife and I am close to my work so I am very flexible with care commitments if I am ever called into the office I live in a secure apartment with gated access, access to 2 patio gardens, 2 roof top gardens. I have plenty of space, green areas and walkable places near me. I have a small Shih Tzu that is very playful with other dogs
About: I am a patient and attentive animal lover. I have professional experience administering oral medication and subcutaneous injections to pets. I provide gentle daily companionship and keep your cats calm and happy during your absence. I work from home full time, so I stay indoors most days. I have plenty of free time to keep your lovely pets company and look after them whenever needed. I’m always at home and can keep a close eye on your pets. I create a quiet, warm, and stress-free space for pets, follow all their routines strictly, and keep them safe all day long.

About: I have spent my life surrounded by animals, and I cannot imagine it any other way. Over the years I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, parrots, turtles, fish, sheep, and many others. Each one has taught me something new, and that range of experience has made me a calm, observant, and adaptable carer. I have a particular soft spot for dogs. I see them as gentle, loyal little companions who give so much love so freely, and I believe they deserve to be cared for with patience, respect, and genuine attention. Because animals cannot use words, I pay close attention to their behaviour, body language, habits, and small changes in mood. To me, this is how real trust is built. A formative experience for me was caring for a rescue Corgi who had a limb amputation. Over two years with her, I came to understand how much consistency, gentle handling, and emotional reassurance can mean to an animal who has been through difficulty. I never consider myself an expert, because every animal continues to teach me more. I currently share my home with two cats, and I have experience with small and exotic pets, including a wonderfully long-lived hamster. I am comfortable following detailed feeding routines, keeping food and litter areas clean, giving medication when needed, and sending regular photo updates so you can feel reassured while you are away. What matters most to me is simple: your pet should feel safe, loved, and understood. I have a flexible schedule and can adapt to your pet’s routine. I’m available for both short-term and long-term care—feel free to get in touch anytime. I maintain a calm, clean environment, follow routines carefully, monitor behavior, and provide updates. In owners’ homes, I respect their space and pets’ familiar habits.
About: I am an experienced and highly reliable pet sitter with many years of experience from both having my own pets and caring for other people's dogs and cats (and the odd tortoise!). I am also fully DBS checked and insured, so you can have peace of mind leaving your pets with me :) I have 3 pets myself, 2 cats and a rabbit, and have always loved looking after animals. I have looked after both senior and young dogs and cats, and I would love to take care of your pet! I work part time, so will have plenty of time to play with your pets! I currently provide house sitting, day care and drop in visits in the comfort of your own home, ensuring your pet feels comfortable and is well looked after while you are away. I love exploring in and around Birmingham, especially green spaces, and I'm sure your pets would love to join me!

About: I have experience caring for a wide range of pets. I’ve previously had a dog, two rabbits, two hamsters and a pet hedgehog, and I currently have a cat who is almost six years old. I also have experience looking after friends’ dogs. Having cared for different types of animals, I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. I’m patient, gentle and attentive, and I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I’m happy to care for dogs, cats and small pets, and I’m particularly comfortable with rabbits, hamsters and other small animals. I’m also happy to keep owners updated with photos, videos and messages while they’re away. I have a flexible schedule and can fit pet care around my daily routine. I’m generally available during the day and can adjust my availability depending on my schedule. I’m happy to discuss specific dates and times with owners in advance. I also keep my Rover calendar up to date, so my availability is clear and I only accept bookings when I know I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. The safety and wellbeing of every pet is my priority. I always follow the owner’s instructions and make sure pets are comfortable with me and their surroundings. For walks, I take care to keep dogs safe and follow their usual walking routine. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets have fresh water, food and a clean, comfortable environment, and I’m attentive to any changes in their behaviour or wellbeing. I understand that being cared for by someone new can be stressful for some pets, so I’m patient and give them time to feel comfortable. I’ll also keep owners updated with photos and messages during each visit so they know how their pet is doing.
About: Hi there! I’m a dedicated animal lover, professional dog groomer, and the owner of my own pet services business. This has given me extensive hands-on experience caring for all kinds of animals from strong, protective guard dogs to independent, sassy cats. I’m confident handling different temperaments, ages, and needs, and always tailor my care to each pet’s individual personality. At home, I’m a proud pet parent to two cats and my senior dog, Charlie, who’s now 15. Caring for an older dog has given me valuable experience with senior pets, including gentle exercise, patience, and attentive care. I genuinely enjoy long walks, enrichment time, and making sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and loved. As a professional groomer, I’m also very comfortable with bathing, brushing, and general coat care when needed. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them isn’t just a job for me, it’s a passion. Your pets will be treated with the same care, respect, and affection I give my own. Pet care is my full time job. I spend my days taking dogs on solo walks, group walks, adventure hikes, and swimming trips. I also help puppies with socialisation, making sure they learn confidence and good manners in a safe, positive way. I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy, whether that means feeding, walking, playtime, or snuggles. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs and personality, adjusting care to ensure they’re relaxed and content. I’m fully insured, first aid trained, and DBS checked, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are in safe, professional hands. Grooming, exercise, socialisation, and companionship are all part of the care I provide tailored to each pet’s unique needs.

“I am so grateful to Charlotte for looking after Thor, our 7 year old German Shepherd overnight! This was his first time away from home since we got him from the Dogs Trust over a year ago and I was anxious that he may not settle well. Charlotte was extremely caring, thoughtful and professional. She was gentle with him and he made him feel at home, she texted me regularly to let me know how he settles and confirm his preferences and she also shared photos from his stay. When I picked him up he looked really happy, energetic and very well looked after. I am planning to rebook with Charlotte for a longer stay soon and I strongly recommend her!”

“Beatriz was lovely and I could see that Luka immediately fell in love with her. She regularly updated me with pictures and videos. He looked really happy when I went to pick him up too. Would definitely book Luka with Beatriz in future.”

“We would 100% recommend Laura for pet boarding! She was kind and friendly, and very caring and attentive to Comet during his stay. She asked plenty of questions beforehand about Comet's needs and routine, and sent a lot of updates too which put us at ease. It seemed like Comet was happy being able to choose where in the house to sleep each night and he enjoyed the garden too! Thanks again for giving him a lovely place to stay. :)”

About: I’ve been working in the veterinary industry for some time. I spent a lot of time around animals of all ages, and I’ve learned that even though they can’t talk, they have their own way of telling us what they need. I’m especially patient with senior pets who just need a slow pace and a gentle hand, as well as younger ones who are still figuring the world out. My approach is really just about being present and observant—I focus on sensing their mood and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I’m not a professional trainer, but I am a great listener when it comes to what your pet is 'saying' through their behavior. I only work 4 days a week. I have no extra commitments outside of work so that gives me extra time to take care of our furry friends. I do not own a pet so no need to worry about comparability, especially for our extra anxious friends. There are parks around my building and so they can have easy access to the greens.
