“Max had a super overnight stay with Roberta and Tozi yesterday! Lots of play time and walks in the cold sunshine and regular updates for us with photos. Thanks Roberta, again, for taking such great care of max while we whizzed to London for the day!”

About: We are Joe and Elise, a young professional couple, both in our late twenties. We have always lived with dogs until we moved into our own house four years ago. We used to regularly dog sit for family, but they moved away last summer. We still sporadically dog sit for friends either for the day or while they’re on holiday. We miss regularly spending time with dogs, but aren’t in a position to get one currently. We would love to spend time and look after yours! We have no pets or children in our home. We both work from home and very rarely have meetings at the same time, so will always be able to let your dog out in the garden, and take them for walks throughout the day. We have a fenced garden and no other pets or children. We live in the centre of Moseley and have access to the private park, so will be able to take your dog out for quick walks or longer strolls throughout the day.
“It was the first time for us to leave her in another place. Shannon was very comforting and caring when we met her. We got lovely pictures during her stay. We are trilled to find Shannon and relax now as we have a second home for Hope. We will definitely bring her back for many play dates.”

“Freddie has just returned from his holiday with Pratik snd family and he had a truly wonderful time. We were kept up to date with pictures and videos which was wonderful to see Freddie so happy. He is missing them already! Thank you for looking after our little boy and would highly recommend! We will be booking again!”

About: I have lived with dogs since I was a child, and my family in China has an 18-year-old small dog, so I understand how much love, patience and routine pets need at every stage of life. In the UK, I have also helped look after my friends’ dogs, including Dachshunds, Border Collies and Cocker Spaniels. I have experience with feeding, walking, playing, keeping dogs company and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I genuinely love spending time with dogs and I always try to understand each dog’s personality, habits and needs. I will follow the owner’s instructions carefully and keep them updated with messages and photos. I am currently a student, so my schedule is very flexible. “Another fantastic job by Eve. Loved getting the photo and video updates. My cat loves her and she is so sensible and reliable. I had zero worries about my cat whilst I was away :)”

“Abi was great. Reliable and very reasonable price. My cat took to her immediately and she sat with her and fussed her, she didn't just feed her and leave. Me and my son would look forward to our daily photos from her check in. Will definitely call on Abi for our next break.”

About: I've grown up around cats and now have a wonderful tortie of my own who brings new meaning to the word "tortitude", and who has some quirks (mild ataxia, pica) that have made me into a very attentive and responsible owner. Having loved lots of rescues, too, I know that the best way to care for any cat is on their terms. Whether your cat loves attention or prefers their own space, I'll respect their routine and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I’ve been sitting various neighbours’ cats for around 2 years now, and it always a privilege to know they trust me to care for them.

“She made me feel so relaxed when she came over to understand my girl’s routines, let alone whilst I was away on holiday. I loved knowing that they were being taken care of by a fellow cat lover. A trustworthy, reliable and friendly cat sitter. The girls and I are looking forward to booking her again when necessary. ”

“Maan and Andreea were fantastic and really made sure to take the best care of our Cora and Nala! Maan sent us photos of the kitties at every visit, and they made sure to give us a little summary of how it went, which gave us such peace of mind! Overall an amazing team looking after our cats.”

“Imogen did an hour drop in on our 10 month old dog, Drogo. She took him for nice long walk and fed him for us whilst we were out. She came and met us and Drogo a few days beforehand and we immediately knew he would be in good hands, and he was! Highly recommend Imogen and wouldn't hesitate booking her again when needed in the future. Thanks so much Imogen!”

“Fantastic cat sitter! My cats tend to be really nervous around new people but when Nicola first visited they both came up to her and not ran away. She was great at following the specific feeding instructions and gave great updates each feeding sessions. I would absolutely use Nicola again in the future.”

“James was very communicative, sent pictures and did everything we asked so we felt comfortable leaving our cats in his care. The only thing to note was that he only stayed for around 20 minutes each time when we booked at 30 min drop in.”

About: 🐈⬛ When people ask me if I'm a cat or a dog person, the truthful answer is both! Cats have such funny characters, and whether they're super independent or a purring lap cat, I love and respect them both. I have 3 years of experience looking after cats and am happy to drop in twice a day. During my visits, I will make sure they have fresh food and water, a completely clean litter tray, and plenty of time for play or affection depending on what they prefer.
“Thank you Millie for looking after our cats for the first time you have done a great job. Millie provided regular updates and pictures to keep our minds at rest. Will definitely be booking you again in the future to look after our fur babies. Thank you 🙏”

“Olivia was great with our 2 cats! It seems they really warmed to her…she sent lots of pictures and asked relevant questions in the lead up to and during her visits, will definitely ask Olivia to look after our cats again, and would also recommend to others!”

About: I have a domestic shorthair cat and a family miniature Yorkshire Terrier, but I have had pets for as long as I can remember. Animals have always been a keen interest and passion of mine; I struggle to understand why people would not desire a four-legged family member. I understand that pet care can be a laborious and tedious task for some people, but I am not ‘some people’. I thrive in an animal’s presence and get genuine enjoyment from taking care of them. It is no hard task for me. Their precious and adorable features may have won me over initially, but their unique and charmingly silly personalities intrigued me - I want to understand what goes on inside their heads. This led me to pursuing an ‘Animal Welfare and Behaviour’ degree with Oxford Brookes University. I have over 2 years of experience studying and supporting animal care, backed up by achieving my level 4 and 5 qualifications, and going on to do my level 6. I have lots of hands-on experience thanks to the animal sanctuary at Solihull College, where my course takes place. I also previously volunteered at ‘Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue’, for 9 months in 2024, which involved daily health checks, administering medication, cleaning of enclosures, changing water, feeding, grooming and providing lots of enrichment and fuss to the rabbits there. Furthermore: in 2020 I oversaw the birth and helped raise two litters with my previous cat (we kept one of the kittens, who is now my cat named Clover). In 2023 we got a new puppy (the miniature Yorkshire terrier named Benji) who I helped rear and house train. In 2024, I helped a couple with their injured dog in London by applying gauze to an open wound. I may be a student, but I am responsible, reliable, and trustworthy, and this job allows me to be flexible with work and my studies. Your pet’s health and welfare are paramount to me, so I cater to their individual needs, respect and love them with everything that I have. Etiquette and decorum are also values I work hard to maintain so I ensure you that if you request a house-sitting or drop-in, you can have confidence that your house will be in good hands with me. I look forward to meeting and getting to know your pets and their one-of-a-kind and special personalities!

About: 🐕 I've loved animals all my life and grew up with both cats and dogs. For the last 10 years, I have looked after other people's pets, providing overnight house-sitting, daily walks or twice-a-day drop in visits. I genuinely love walking and am more than happy to do up to two 1-hour walks a day to keep your dog active and happy. When I care for your pet, they get my full attention, plenty of love, and a consistent routine. 🐈 Cat Sitting: I am equally happy caring for cats, whether they prefer lots of playtime or just someone to check in on them and let them know they're not alone. 🌟 My Experience • Senior & Routine Care: I have a decade of experience looking after elderly dogs, keeping them safe, comfortable, and on their familiar schedules. • Medication: I am patient and comfortable administering daily medications, including eye drops and oral liquids. • Leash Safety: I am very used to walking dogs that need to stay on the lead due to reactivity with other animals, and I always stay alert outdoors - I won't be looking at my phone while I'm with your dog! I'm self-employed and work at home so have a very flexible schedule which means I am happy to fit around yours. I'm also available at short notice. If I am looking after your pet in your own home, I will follow all instructions on how to keep your pet safe and happy, making sure your home security and your pet’s routine are my top priorities. 🐾 Clean & Tidy Space: I am a very neat and clean person by nature, so I will always respect your home and leave your house in tip-top condition for your return. 🐾 Following Routines: I strictly adhere to your walk times, feeding schedules, dietary rules, and medication timings to maintain consistency for your pet. 🐾 Home Security: I will be super conscientious about your home security, ensuring doors & windows are securely locked, alarms are set. 🐾 Leash & Outdoor Safety: On walks, I am always alert and keep reactive dogs safely on the lead, keeping my eyes on what's happening in the environment ahead to avoid potential triggers. 🐾 Updates & Peace of Mind: I am more than happy to send regular photos & updates so you can see how well your pet is doing while you're away.

About: I currently own a 2.5 year old Labrador who is super friendly, loves both dogs and humans and adores playing fetch in the park! I’ve also grown up with family dogs my whole life including dogs who are rescued and elderly. I work from home, so I can offer a home away from home for your pet which includes a garden. I can take your pet out for a walk in the park either with or without my own dog - whatever suits you! As a current dog owner myself, I know how much work it requires to have a pet, so if I can offer you a little break or take any worries off your mind, then I’m happy to do so! I am currently working from home and take my Labrador for 2x walks a day in the park across the road. We also play in the garden at home but also make sure he gets enough rest and cuddles on the sofa! I am happy to work with your requirements. I.e I am confident I can leave your pet feeling happy, exercised and well fed (if feeding is required).

“Mani was great! I was really anxious about leaving Mouse as she's been a bit difficult recently but Mani was super friendly and reassuring. We have had people struggle with her being high energy and struggling to settle when she is away from home but with Mani she seems to have had a lovely, relaxed day. I was also happy to see her be calm around his dogs as she can be a bit much for other dogs sometimes. I feel like this was a very positive learning experience for her and I'm grateful that I could be confident that she was in safe hands all day.”

“Tegan looked after Esme very well and she was a very happy dog when I picked her up. She had contacted me when Esme didn't eat her dinner (due to the heat I think) and I have some lovely photos. Thank you so much”

“Mona took to Lauren and Helen straight away, they are so loving and caring towards her. They have looked after Mona a few times now and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They have kept me updated, been super responsive to messages and given her extra walks and attention, as well as accommodating my needs in the hot weather They both sit Mona in my home and leave the place spotless. Trustworthy and lovely people- can’t ask for much more!”

“Vicky was very accommodating and treated Freddie with lots of love. This was my first experience of Rover and Vicky put me at ease and looked after Freddie without issue. Would not hesitate to book with Vicky again”

“Ilena took excellent care of Raya. She met us a week before to introduce herself to Raya and ask questions about her care. Raya had a lovely day with Ilena; she obviously made herself at home and felt very comfortable when we went to pick her up. Ilena sent us updates throughout Raya's stay. We would be very happy to ask Ilena to look after Raya again.”

“I have a three-month-old puppy that is full of energy and curious about the world. Due to work commitments, I need to find a dog sitter to look after him sometime during the day and overnight. I found the website "Rover" and searched, narrowing down a few options. Mirriam and Cameron's profile drew my attention, and without any previous review, I still decided to contact them. Through some communication, they replied to my message very quickly and offered to help on the day I needed. They also allowed me to visit their house on the same day I contacted them, to see if it is a suitable place for my puppy. We agreed on a time, but I had to push back a bit later on the day; they were extremely accommodating to my requests. The house visit was a lovely experience, a beautiful and clean house in a sought-after location. My puppy met Cameron for the first time and had already bonded with the house and him. We had a good chat; Cameron seems very friendly and genuinely interested in dogs. We decided to give it a try. One week later, we sent our puppy over. From early morning to late afternoon, it was a very long day. Cameron kept me informed and updated by sending photos and messages. Given that it is the first time Cameron has spent time with my puppy, I feel he has done an excellent job by looking after him, feeding him, playing with him, and taking him out for a walk, etc. I trust it has also formed some bond between my puppy and Cameron. I must say that the first dog-sitting experience was outstanding; it assures me that my puppy will be in caring and capable hands if I need someone to look after him when I am busy. To summarise my experience, communicating with Miriam and Cameron is easy; they are professional and friendly, love dogs, the location is good, and the house is clean and spacious. They are willing to go the extra mile to look after my puppy. I really appreciate it, and thanks for looking after my puppy!”

“Yesi had a great time with Zoey and Pudding. Zoey is very caring, replies promptly, is on time and sends tons of pictures throughout the day. Highly recommend! ❤️ Would definitely use again!”

About: An animal lover since I can remember. When I was a child, I was the one in the family who was obsessed with animals; from having as many pets as I could, visiting family members to play with theirs, watching animal documentaries and begging to go to an animal sanctuary every week. Since I was about 13, I’ve looked after family member pets, from dogs to parrots. When I was 16, I became a co-parent of a gorgeous springer spaniel named Alfie and that’s where my love and devotion to dogs started. Say hello to them in the park, watching Paul O’gradys for the love of dogs and taking care of my Aunties Kings Charles spaniel on weekends when they were at work, I’m pretty much dog crazy! I’ve experienced and looked after all sorts of breeds with all sorts of temperaments, challenges, and needs. I felt, therefore, that offering dog services would be a great way for me to offer help with my experience but also fulfil my love for doggies – a win win! I work from home 9-5 Monday to Friday with lots of availability throughout the day and later in evenings, as well as most weekends being at home too so can arrange my schedule according to your needs. I listen carefully to pets needs and your expectations and offer all the care your dog could need. Dog-walks, dog-sitting and pop-ins is what I’d love to offer at the moment, with hopes to expand to own-home care once a relationship is built with you and your VID (very-important-doggy). As mentioned, I work 9-5 Mon-Fri and have a very loose schedule at work, so have the ability to be out and about throughout the day. I am also free most evenings and weekends to attend to your pets needs. Respect is key - I treat any pet like my own and any home even better than my own! It’s important to get an idea of expectations and boundaries within your home and with your pet and I will always make sure I stick with these. My day job requires organisation, communication and trust, and i delivery this within these interactions too.
“Audrey and her partner clearly love dogs. I couldn't ask for more. Marnie looked so bright and happy when I picked her up. I will certainly be wanting Marnie to go to Audrey again. X thank u,”

“Marley loved his two days of daycare with Gaynor and Simon. He had a couple of walks each day, he played with their toy poodle Eddie who he got on well with, he had lots of cuddles on the sofa and fell asleep on Gaynor's lap. Gaynor kept in touch with me on how he was settling in and sent me photos.”

“Pratik and family were once again fantastic hosts for Lando. He clearly seems to enjoy his time with them and they always provide regular updates on how he’s getting on. Thanks again!”

“Harper was incredibly caring with Brownie 🥹🥰 I could see how much fun he had, and for the first time, as soon as we got home, he went straight to bed 😂. I’m truly grateful for Harper's love and attention towards him. She shared photos and updates throughout their time together, and seeing them enjoy each other and Brownie settle in peacefully gave me a deep sense of comfort and confidence that he was in good hands 🫶🏾”

“Wivi became Chumbo’s fav sitter for sure, everything is also easy with her and her partner, you can tell they truly care about your pet. Thank you so much for all you do for Chumbo 🩷”

About: I’ve had pet dogs for the majority of my life, with experience of small, medium and large dogs of all ages. I’ve cared for puppies to elderly dogs, and my current dog is a rescue. Over my lifetime I feel like I’ve handled anything being a dog owner could throw at you; but dogs still never fail to surprise me! I work from home 2 days a week, so am home all day 4 days a week in total. I’m able to have your dog with me either all day or overnight. I will provide walks and entertainment, and your dog can comfortably relax in a safe environment with a large enclosed garden. I have a comfortable home, with a large enclosed garden. I currently have one small dog myself who will be more than happy to play with your dog, but will equally leave them be if they want some space. “Ben was lovely and provided updates on every walk to me and planned each day with my mom. It was a difficult week due to the weather but Olive enjoyed her walks and I was pleased she could get out with Ben”

About: I'm new to formal dog sitting, but dogs have always been part of my family and I’ve been informally doing this years. Every dog we've had has been a rescue, so I have experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. Because of this, I’ve also got experience caring for senior dogs and those with medical needs, including administering insulin injections to a diabetic dog and managing a controlled diet. I'm patient, reliable, and provide a calm, loving environment where every dog can feel safe and at home. I work at a desk most of the time so am just as grateful as your dog for the chance to get outside and stretch my legs! I work fully remotely Monday-Friday, 9-5pm so I can be attentive to your little ones even during the day and give you peace of mind that they won’t be in short supply of love and company when I’m sitting. As a pet owner, I know how much of a big deal it is to trust somebody with caring for your pet. So I’ll look after them by minimising disruptions to their routine and environment, so they feel happy and comfortable in my company, leaving them to their space and giving them love on their own terms. Clear and detailed instructions are always welcome!
“Excellent! Our spaniel took to Imogen straight away and was very excited to walk with her. She was prepared with her own lead and I could see she was able to confidently handle our lively dog. Thank you for helping us out at such short notice!”

About: I love all breeds and all sizes, including the “banned breeds” I currently own 2 Siberian huskies and a cane Corso puppy! Love spending time with dogs whether it’s walkies, play time, cuddles, or even basic training. I don’t currently work so I’m available all the time anytime! I know that some people have unexpected emergencies and could need someone to care for their pets or just check in on them at different times. I can’t currently care for your pet at my home but I can assure you they will be well cared for in their own home. I have cared for other peoples animals in their own home before while they have been on holiday.
“Spike is nervous with strangers but Maizie has quickly won him over and has always been prompt and reliable when I've needed him walking, often at short notice. Would highly recommend!”

“I was really happy that Nicola came to my house to meet my dogs and I before she walked them. I would not have felt comfortable handing over my precious dogs if she had not done so. They have walked with her quite happily and are clearly comfortable going with her which is a huge vote of confidence I think. I am very happy with the service provided by Nicola and would most definitely recommend her to others.”

“As always, excellent service from Josh - our dog is always happy and worn out after their walks! Josh even helped to clean off our spaniel after she went for an unavoidable swim!! Big thank you!”

We also play in the garden at home but also make sure he gets enough rest and cuddles on the sofa! I am happy to work with your requirements. I.e I am confident I can leave your pet feeling happy, exercised and well fed (if feeding is required).
About: I've had pets all my life and couldn't think of a home without one. Nothing would be me happier than being able to provide your pet with all the love and attention they need. I provide dog walking services and love exploring new places with my new furry friends as well as going back to their favourite spots. I can also care for your dog(s) from the comfort of their own home by dropping by once a day to ensure they are ok and get the attention they require, including feeding, walking and play. I have a certification in ‘Essential Dog Training’ and ‘Animal Welfare’ and I’m currently undertaking a course in ‘Dog Psychology’. I am also planning to take part in a ‘Pet First Aid Course’. In my spare time, I help out at ‘The Cinnamon Trust’, a charity that assists elderly and terminally ill people and their pets, by providing practical hands on assistance with any aspect of pet care that the owners may be faced with. I grew up with a Saint Bernard called Dinky :). As a family we then had 3 Boxers, Peggy, Tequila and Spike, a lively albino boxer; and different cross breeds that we rescued followed. My family now includes myself, my husband, Chris, our boys, Tommaso and Alessandro and our crazy 7 year old German Shepherd, Ruby. I work from home all week and I’m lucky that my job allows me to be flexible and be able to take care of your doggies. I ensure I meet with all pet owners for a brief chat before taking on a booking to ensure routines are followed and all needs taken care of.
About: Hiya, I’m Abi. Your local dog walker/pet sitter! I have had cats, dogs and all sorts of other animals from mice to iguanas since I was a young child, however really started caring for them myself for around the past 10 years. I have 3 cats of my own, and now also own my own cat rescue that I run with my partner, rescuing cats and kittens from bad situations, rehabilitating them until ready for their forever home (Left paw cat rescue). I am happy to look after all types of animals, and provide a professional and reliable service! I have recently cut down my hours right down at work to just do one day a week, in order to go into pet sitting/dog walking full time and make it my carrier, therefore mostly fully flexible with lots of availability currently. Have some peace of mind whilst you’re away ensuring your pets are comfortable in their home environment. I provide food/water changes, litter tray scoops and dog walking if this is something you’ve booked. I an enjoy getting to provide all the love, cuddles and play time too if this is something your pet likes! I’ll be more than happy to help out around the house and water any plants, open curtains and of course empty the litter tray(s), or anything else you may require help with! We can arrange a home visit beforehand so you can meet me, and so I can familiarise myself with your home, your pets and their individual needs. I will also keep you updated with messages and photos on each visit, if this is something you would like.

“Wivi looked after Raya for three days while we were away. She took excellent care of her. We were able to meet up a few days before, which put us at ease. Wivi was happy to keep in touch as much or as little as we wanted and sent us photos and videos of Raya playing and enjoying a puppuccino. We would happily leave Raya with her again.”

“Sophie looked after our Cockapoo, Benji, for a week and was absolutely brilliant. We hadn't used Rover before, but we're so glad we found Sophie through it. Benji clearly loved his time with her, and we received regular updates on all the adventures he was having, as well as how well he had settled in. It gave us real peace of mind knowing he was so happy and well cared for. I would highly recommend Sophie to anyone looking for someone to keep their furry family member happy, safe, and loved.”

About: I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of dogs and cats over the last few years! I have a border collie, so I’m very much used to looking after energetic dogs who need a lot of stimulation. Additionally, I have 3 Bengal cats who are very demanding! I absolutely love to look after animals and provide them with their usual routines and spend time with them! Rest assured, you will always receive lots of videos and photos whilst I do drop in visits, walking or pet sitting to keep your mind at ease. I always like to do a couple of meet and greets, so you can get to know me and your pets can get to know me too! I approach it very much like how I would want it. I will always be able to tell you if I’m happy on the first meet and greet! If your pets have any dietary requirements or needing medication. I am happy to do this because I have experience in doing so. Furthermore, I have looked after so many puppy’s and I have trained them all of there commands. My main aim is to make sure your pet is happy but you also too! 😁 I work from home, so I am able to provide pet care at anytime of the day or night. Short notice is also fine for me! I would follow all of your usual routines to keep your pets happy. I would provide regular updates to keep you reassured. Any requests, would never be too much!
“Emily is just the absolute best, she knows how much Harley is loved by us and shows him the same love too, he loves being with her and always comes back as the most chilled dog ever! I never hesitate to book Emily if we have any trips planned!! 🥰🥰🥰”

“Yang was superb! Lovely updates and gave Marnie and me such a warm welcome. My Marnie is a different dog and reserved due to her past. A first for Marnie upon leaving, I was talking to Yang on the doorstep with Marnie standing next to me, Marnie walked back into Yang for further strokes. My Marnie certainly felt at home with Yang. So thank you Yang she has loved being with you.”
