As the holiday went on I received regular updates on how Bella was doing, and received lots of photos of her. All my worries were lifted, clearly she was having just as much of a good time as me. About: I live in Digbeth, in the city centre, in an apartment close to a park. I can offer 3–4 walks a day, depending on what your dog needs. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, so I’ve always been comfortable around them and genuinely enjoy their company. I also have a little Yorkie girl of my own, who loves playing with other dogs and is very friendly. I’d be happy to look after your dog and make sure they feel comfortable, get plenty of walks and lots of attention while they’re with me. I work remotely, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pets throughout the day. I live close to a park, which makes it easy to fit in regular walks and outdoor time. I also don’t have any holiday plans for the next few weeks, so I’m available and happy to give your pet plenty of attention, care, and company. About: I have lived with dogs since I was a child, and my family in China has an 18-year-old small dog, so I understand how much love, patience and routine pets need at every stage of life. In the UK, I have also helped look after my friends’ dogs, including Dachshunds, Border Collies and Cocker Spaniels. He even made a shopping list and bought some cat food and treats when I ran out, and amended the list to reduce the costs. My cats are used to a lot of affection and Josh made sure they got their cuddles and care during the visits and every visit I had a super report with pictures, and also, highlighting any concerns such as possibly running out of medication or food. He thought in advance and adapted as necessary to the situations and resolved them such as running out of food, suggesting a possible vet visit (in the end it wasn’t necessary) with cheerfulness. I would highly recommend him, It was lovely to come home to my cats feeling as if they had received all their needs while I was away and genuine love and care from Josh. I feel as if they had just a different carer and cuddler for a while instead of me leaving them. I highly recommend him and I look forward to booking him again. Thanks Josh.”

About: I've had dogs my entire life. Our current home comes with two furry friends of our own who love the company of other dogs. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes, including many with unique needs. One of our own dogs is blind, so I have particular experience supporting dogs with visual impairments. I'm also very comfortable managing medication schedules and special dietary requirements, so your dog's routine stays consistent while you're away. Between myself and family someone is home pretty much the entire time. Dog walks and, if you're dog is happy to be involved, runs are a normal part of everyday. We have plenty of spare running harnesses. Dogs are part of the family day to day. We have a large securely fenced garden which the team have constant access to, subject to the weather. Our own two dogs are a little older, but still love a play and are always happy to keep a guest company. Both our dogs very relaxed and quickly settle into having another dog around, if your dog is a little nervous, it's always good to let us know and we can arrange a meet and greet before. If your dog is used to being crated that's great, we can easily accommodate their crate or a travel crate, if not that also fine, they'll be given the space they need.

About: An animal lover since I can remember. When I was a child, I was the one in the family who was obsessed with animals; from having as many pets as I could, visiting family members to play with theirs, watching animal documentaries and begging to go to an animal sanctuary every week. About: Growing up, I always looked after my neighbours cats as my parents wouldn’t get me one. During Covid, I rescued Molly (a lionhead rabbit) and then found her a partner after a year. It was so relaxing to look after furry friends that I decided to get a small dog. Being fully occupied with three pets was entertaining and rewarding at the same time. Alfie (my young Shihtzu) came in to my life as special friend, and our bond is made in heaven. He’s been through a few surgeries due to his genetic disorder so my partner and I look after him with extra care, and give him the diva treatment cause he deserves every happiness in life. While treating Alfie, we have learned so much about dog care, training, grooming, nutrition and health management that we can diagnose health concerns often by looking at him. We all know our pets really well. My partner and I have become experts in dog care. Alfie loves playing with other dogs, so I have decided to open our flat for boarding and day care. Alfie would love to play with other small/medium dogs. Our first floor apartment is safe and we have a fenced garden downstairs, with access to additional park across the road. We also have all the dog essentials and grooming supplies if required. I’m an assistant professor at the University, and have been teaching for over 9 years, particularly to Year-1 who are new to the universities. I’ve consistently received 95% student satisfaction rate and my students would describe me as ‘trustworthy, reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive’. I teach a few hours at the University, and work from home the remaining hours. I shall be looking after your pet on the days I’m working from home. During the school holidays, there are no classes so I work from home, if I need to. I take Alfie down for walks at least three times a day, sometimes more. Due to Alfie’s history, I’m vigilant about dog safety and pay extra care in ensuring his safety. I will do the same for your dog. There’s a fenced garden downstairs and another across the road. It’s a safe neighbourhood and most residents know me and my partner. I’m reliable and friendly, so your dog will be in good hands.

Every dog we've had has been a rescue, so I have experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. Because of this, I’ve also got experience caring for senior dogs and those with medical needs, including administering insulin injections to a diabetic dog and managing a controlled diet. I'm patient, reliable, and provide a calm, loving environment where every dog can feel safe and at home. I work at a desk most of the time so am just as grateful as your dog for the chance to get outside and stretch my legs! I work fully remotely Monday-Friday, 9-5pm so I can be attentive to your little ones even during the day and give you peace of mind that they won’t be in short supply of love and company when I’m sitting. So I’ll look after them by minimising disruptions to their routine and environment, so they feel happy and comfortable in my company, leaving them to their space and giving them love on their own terms. About: I've grown up caring for a variety of dogs. I've had my Staffordshire Bull Terrier (Mable) for 8.5 years. Dog's feel very at ease with me, I'm very attuned to a dog's body language and sounds and can tell when they've had enough play time, are injured, or are too warm or just in need of some relaxation/sleep. I'm currently working part-time as a therapist and so your dog will have plenty of time with me for love, walks and access to a long garden. Your pooch will be allowed to roam the house and the long garden which is fenced in. If we go in the car I have a dog bed and seat belt so that our journey is comfortable and safe. I'm very keen on keeping your dog safe and so I'll check the temperatures before we go out and try to pick shaded cooler walks. About: I've currently got Clive, a staffy x mastiff and would love to be able to help others with their pets. I've had working golden retrievers growing up who we had from a puppy. I'm used to sticking to the routines a dog knows and have always been very comfortable with large dogs. I used to do borrow my doggy as a nursing uni student and looked after dogs and asked to do overnights so we could do big day trips with them. I now have Clive who is nervous of other dogs so I don't get to say hi as often as I'd want to to other dogs on walks. Hoping I'll get my fix this way instead! I know the local area and parks, am happy to go out in any weather even if my dog refuses when it's windy and cold! I have all the time to fit around your schedule. About: Hi, I'm Yasmin. I'm a dog lover and have a lovely 10 month old miniature dachshund. I work from home and live in an apartment in Birmingham City Centre, we go outside for walks/ toilet breaks around 3 times per day. I have lots of time available to look after little fur babies and my pup is a complete princess so anyone that joins us will be well loved. My dog is very friendly and loves other dogs. I am more than happy to share lots of updates and photos🩷. I have previously had a senior Bichon Frise with medical needs, so I am also confident with senior dogs and administering some medications. I work from home in a very flexible job so can give attention and walks as and when needed. Our current routine is a toilet trip outside in the morning as soon as we wake up, a proper walk at lunch time, a toilet break outside after dinner and another quick trip outside before bed. I work from home so can be very flexible on this. I am happy with dogs on furniture etc. Any outside time is always on a leash. I have an outdoor area at my apartment but often go for walks beyond this around the city or local parks. My dog is a miniature dachshund so we always use the lift rather than stairs to protect her back when going in and out, I also have foam stairs for her to get onto furniture.
