Louise was great. She went above and beyond for our 2 cats, and made us feel very comfortable. She was very thorough, sent us photos and videos every day and was very attentive to the cats. We felt very safe with her coming to the house every day. Thank you so much, Louise!

About: Hi, I’m Ashleigh! Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up around a variety of breeds, each with their own personalities, needs, and quirks, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of dog care. I currently own a Border Collie, so I’m very familiar with providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep active, intelligent dogs happy and fulfilled. My passion for dogs has also led me to volunteer with Dogs Trust, where I gained valuable experience caring for and interacting with dogs from a range of backgrounds. This helped strengthen my understanding of canine behaviour and the importance of patience, consistency, and positive interactions. For added peace of mind, I am trained in canine first aid and have experience administering oral medication to dogs when required. Whether your dog needs a simple daily tablet, extra support due to age or health conditions, or just plenty of love and attention while you’re away, I’m confident in providing safe, compassionate care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog as if they were my own and will ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is in caring and capable hands. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family member! I currently work remotely for Amazon so you're pets are never going to be lonely! I am free for boarding every weekend and also most weekdays! Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care, which is why I strive to provide a safe, secure, and loving home environment where every dog is treated like part of the family. I live in a secure coded-entry building, providing an additional layer of safety and peace of mind. We also have access to a fully enclosed communal garden that is professionally maintained on a weekly basis. The garden is accessed through a coded gate, helping to ensure dogs remain safe and secure while enjoying supervised outdoor time, with no risk of wandering off. My home is very dog-friendly and designed with your pet’s wellbeing in mind. There are plenty of toys and enrichment activities available to keep dogs mentally stimulated and entertained throughout the day. Whether your dog enjoys interactive play, exploring new toys, or simply relaxing in a comfortable environment, I’ll tailor their experience to suit their individual personality and needs. I am committed to maintaining a calm, clean, and positive environment where dogs can feel safe, settled, and at home while you’re away. Combined with my canine first aid training and experience administering oral medication, you can feel confident that your dog will be cared for with both compassion and attention to detail. I also have my own little doggo named cooper who is a 2 year old border collie, he is extremely friendly so your dog will never feel lonely.

About: I have grown up with animals, multiple cats and been around families dogs. I am caring, patient and love walking. I love animals, I would love to be able to spend more time with them. I am currently working part time, it’s 12 hours but it can vary to 25. I usually have Mondays and Thursdays off so for those furry friends that need all day attention I can do that. In addition to this, I am fully flexible besides the hours of 12/2pm - 7pm- within those hours I cannot do but before and after I am happy to do mornings and evenings. I have outside cats, but we have a cat flap so they always have access to the toilet, food, water etc. I buy treats on occasion for my cats and always play with them, i love making sure they’re happy and not bored. I love to go for walks and saying hello to dogs and playing with them.

About: I’m a responsible, active, and caring pet sitter with experience looking after dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. As a runner and outdoor enthusiast, I love taking dogs on long walks and making sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I have plenty of free time for sitting and am available daily before 8am and after 4pm with full availability at the weekends. I am very flexible to accommodate your requirements. About: Been surrounded by dogs for most of my life so I have a good sense of what is good for them and what isn't. Being a TA in my full time job I have experience of tending to different needs of an individual. In the past I have looked after pets and house sat for numerous members of my family when they've gone on holiday or just generally been away. I am respectful and tidy when it comes to other people's home. You can trust me to be responsible and follow your instructions to the letter. I'm looking for work for in the 6weeks holiday. I'm an agency TA usually and don't get paid during holidays. After that, aside from a few social get togethers I go into the city for, I will be completely free starting 20th July. I love dogs as equally as I would another person, just like the children I TA for in term time. I like to keep a balance between careful order and easy going, friendly nature which has worked very well for me in the past.

When we got home we could tell our cat was much happier than when we usually go away. I can't recommend Hollie enough!

About: I love all breeds and all sizes, including the “banned breeds” I currently own 2 Siberian huskies and a cane Corso puppy! Love spending time with dogs whether it’s walkies, play time, cuddles, or even basic training. I don’t currently work so I’m available all the time anytime! I know that some people have unexpected emergencies and could need someone to care for their pets or just check in on them at different times. I can’t currently care for your pet at my home but I can assure you they will be well cared for in their own home. I have cared for other peoples animals in their own home before while they have been on holiday.

About: I’m a devoted dog dad to two well‑trained giant pups, and before they moved to my parents’ home in Dubai, I also cared for my cats — so I’ve spent over a decade raising and training dogs and cats side by side. I’m currently doing my professional doctoral training at the University of Birmingham, and pet sitting fits perfectly alongside it; it never feels like a job to me because I already live with and care for my own two gentle giants every day. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and behaviours, and I genuinely enjoy creating a calm, structured, and loving environment for every animal I look after. If your dog needs help with basic manners or behavioural issues, I’m happy to offer training support during their stay. My calm, well‑behaved German Shepherd is a great example of the training approach I use, and you’ll meet him when you drop your dog off. For boarding, your dog or cat will have a dedicated, secure room to ensure comfort and safety. My flat also has access to a podium area and a lovely nearby park—perfect for regular walks and outdoor time for your precious pet.

About: Hey, I’m Ilena! I’ve been dog sitting on Rover for over two years now, and I absolutely love it. Before that, I spent several years working in dog refuges across Europe and latterly in Morocco. I’ve cared for every kind of dog—from playful pups who just want to zoom around to nervous rescues who need extra patience and understanding. Each dog is different and has their own character and quirks. It truly brings me joy getting to know each dog for who they are and making sure they are feel happy, safe and comfortable. Your pup will be with me all day, whether we’re out on walks, playing in the park, or relaxing at home. I work remotely, so they’ll always have company (and plenty of love). If they have specific needs or routines, just let me know—I’m happy to follow whatever they need. Whether your dog is easygoing or a bit of a challenge at times (🙈) I’d love to look after them. 💛 I currently work for an animal welfare organisation remotely, so your doggie will have plenty of company! My typical work hours are 8:30-5 with a 1 hour lunch break. My work hours are flexible so toilet breaks/walks as regularly as needed can be easily managed. I would typically take your dog on a walk before work / lunch / after work, with added toilet breaks. If you have an older or more lazy pup, we can of course take it slower. I live a 10 minute walk from Moseley private park and a 25 minute walk from Moseley bog, Highbury park and Canon hill. So, we have a lot of options! I live in ground floor flat with a garden so inbetween walks, they can go for the toilet or a sniff as much as they need!

About: I was raised with 3 English Springer Spaniels which ignited my love for caring for dogs immediately and was always outdoorsy, surrounded by family and friends’ dogs of all breeds, shapes and sizes. When I moved in with my partner in Kings Heath, we realised quickly something was missing in our lives, so 3 years ago we adopted a lovely Jack Russell Terrier mix named Daisy who has changed our lives in all the best ways. Rover would help me help people who experience the same issues with ensuring their dogs are looked after when family members are far afield (My parents are in Wales and Will’s in Leeds). I care often for friends’ dogs that live locally, both day and overnight care and for long stretches of time. I work from home almost all the time and am flexible in working hours so can ensure routine is maintained, toilet breaks are frequent and walks are long. Although I am partnered, my partner will not be involved on Rover due to his hands being full with our dog already! I work full time but from 95% of the time from home, with flexible hours to ensure I am always around for toilet breaks, feeding times and long walks. Routines aren’t compromised. I will adapt to your dog’s needs and environment wherever I am sitting for them - I am confident in making sure they are comfortable to gain trust around me.
