Safety, trust & environment
When out dog walking, I always carry a whistle, bright torch and spring loaded umbrella (physical barrier) as safety measures to prevent and break up scraps between dogs. I also wear a hi-vis jacket, and carry with me at all times: Pet First Aid kit; towel (to use as a stretcher); spare lead; spare muzzle; spare poo bags, and a few other essential items for dog walking. I also have canine first-aid training.

Josh was absolutely fantastic with our cat, Kourosh. He looked after him for 9 days, and it was clear from the start that Kourosh really loved having him around. Will definitely be booking Josh again was brilliant. I was very worried about leaving my cats and tortoise with someone again after a bad experience before. But Josh was great my animals were taken care of and were happy when we came home. This was Josh's second booking. I was really happy to be able to book him. He is always so helpful and keeps me informed while i am away. When i am away, because Josh is so professional I feel confident that my cats Molly and Indy, as well as Whitey are in safe hands with Josh so i can relax. Josh is flexible and has done some added extra tasks for me out of good will which was really appreciated as he is so helpful and cheerful at the same time in doing so. Also, he always updates if there are any issues or changes so I commend him for his forthrightness also. Thanks Josh.

Schedule
Along side pet sitting, I also work a few mornings a week as a fork-lift driver on a 0-hour contract. I can usually fit the two jobs in around each other, and when needs be I can turn down some of the fork lift shifts if they conflict with my pet sitting schedule. My main means of transport is an E-scooter, and I can cater to a 3-mile radius of my home in B13.

- Prior to your first booking I request a small amount of paper work be filled out to highlight things such as behaviour issues, dietary requirements, walking habits, medication specifications, Vet info and a few other bits and pieces. For most first-time bookings, I will usually visit your property twice, firstly to conduct the initial meet & greet to get to know all their is to know about your pet (and also to get them to know me slightly), and a second visit shortly before the booking starts to collect the keys. This way your pet can become a little more familiar with me prior to the start of the booking. If your pet is nervous around new people, then we can discuss additional ad-hoc visits prior to the start of the booking to give your pet more of a chance to become relaxed and comfortable around me. Depending on distance from my property, I may charge a discretionary fee for these visits if they are needed.
