I’m available to fit around your dog’s individual routine, whether that means regular walks, playtime, feeding times, cuddles or simply having someone around for reassurance. Because I’m home most of the time, I can provide a calm and loving environment where your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. I’m happy to follow their usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and settled while they’re staying with me. 🐾❤️ Your dog will be welcomed into a spacious, comfortable home where they can relax and feel part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced back garden, giving dogs plenty of safe space to enjoy some fresh air, play and explore. About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a child myself and had a dog as a kid. Since then my own parents have had other dogs which I’ve obviously loved and cared for as and when, whilst unable to have a dog of my own. Circumstances - ie work - mean I can’t commit to having my own dog full time, to my son’s dismay, but we have so much love and affection for dogs that Rover is a perfect fit for us. I’ve only ticked availability for when my son and I can live our best life and share that time with your beautiful dog. We are always out and about exploring Lichfield and living life to the fullest…and spending time with a pooch pal would complete that way of life! Full disclosure we live in a flat but is as pet friendly as flats can be. We literally live opposite Stowe Pool playing fields and like I say to my 9-year-old, we have one of the biggest gardens in Lichfield. We would love a dog to walk, to stay with us and maybe even play cricket with us!

“We have used Chris multiple times now to look after our 2 cavapoos. Both are classic “velcro dogs” and even for us it can be overwhelming at times. Chris however is not phased by this and is happy to accommodate any needs you have to make your dog feel like they are at home. Both dogs are very picky eaters and on the most recent occasion she was so helpful in trialling new foods with them and letting us know which seemed best for them. We found it very amusing that on arrival to collect them, our dog was running round with her sock, which is exactly what he does at home! Thanks Chris. See you again next time!”

“I had found Matt last minute within a couple hours before i actually dropped Simba off. Matt was very welcoming and inviting to both me and Simba. He had helped me out massively when no one else was available. Matt sent me updates with photos throughout the whole day and Simba looked like he had settled in very quickly. Chelsea was fantastic when looking after our Greyhound Bodhi. We went away for a night and Chelsea stayed in our home with the dog. Her communication was excellent throughout. Phil and Archie took great care of my dachshund dash whilst I was away for the weekend . Speedy responses when communicating and always keeping me updated on how dash was doing during his stay. Do not hesitate when thinking of booking Phil and Archie as these two kept dash busy all weekend showing him love and care throughout his stay and taking him out on long walks and keeping him stimulated. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
