“I could not recommend Dina and her little dog Daisy enough ☺️ We did a meet and greet prior to my holiday just to make sure the dogs would get on ok. I knew there would be no issues and was more than happy for my dog to be looked after by Dina. Dina kept me updated with photos throughout the week and I could tell my dog was having a lovely time and was very happy with her surroundings. My dog is 15 so can have days where she’s a little more tired than others but everything was accommodated. A perfect little holiday for my pooch ☺️ 🐾”

About: I’ve been caring for animals all my life as I grew up with dogs, cats and ponies. I began my working life in the 1980’s as a veterinary nurse for a few years and then a dairy hand, raising calves in Israel for several years. On my return to England I began free lance yard work at various livery stables and house sitter for large and small animals. As this is my full time employment, all my care and attention will be focused on your pets, so plenty of time for walks and play, depending on your dogs needs. I have a fenced garden and a friendly miniature bull terrier for company. We go on lots of walks and as I have a car, we travel to some lovely woods and country walks. I’ve been house sitting for a few years now so am pretty adept at finding new walks in new areas and navigating a variety of kitchens ( almost more tricky than going out for a walk! ). House sitting allows me to keep the animals of the household in their routine, care for all the pets there and keep an eye on the property itself.

I work mornings, so I am generally available for dog walking, drop-ins and pet care from around 1pm onwards. I have some flexibility depending on the day and can discuss specific requirements in advance. I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine where possible and will always make sure they receive the time, attention and care they need. I offer a loving, safe and comfortable home-from-home environment for dogs staying with me. I have my own friendly dog, so I always arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure the dogs are comfortable together. I treat every dog as part of the family and will follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime and plenty of cuddles. I also have a 6-year-old son, so I only take dogs who are suitable for a family home. Your dog will receive plenty of attention and won’t simply be left on their own for long periods. I’ll keep you updated during their stay with photos and messages so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for.
