About: I have a 8 year old Shih tuz, who is my beautiful boy and we both looking after friends and family dogs, we like walking around the local park and playing ball. I have recently been made redundant so I now have a lot of time to look after your loved family member and a lap to sit on for plenty of cuddles, I'm a short walk from the park so lunch time walks is always part of the daily route, I have a dog flap to the garden and Ollie will be more than happy to show them how to use it. treats always on hand. I have a fenced yard, I don't believe in creating dogs, but I do believe in love cuddles and plenty of kisses. We look forward to caring for your family member

About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience with a wide range of animals. I’ve grown up caring for cats, dogs, and even reptiles, so I’m comfortable adapting to different temperaments, routines, and needs. I’m especially confident with young pets, helping reinforce basic training, good habits, and consistent routines. I also provide attentive senior care, making sure older pets are comfortable, supported, and given the extra patience they need. Above all, I treat every pet as an individual—paying close attention to their personality, behaviour, and wellbeing so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work 9–5, so I’m available for morning visits before work and evening visits afterwards, making sure pets are fed, exercised, and comfortable at the start and end of each day. On weekdays, I plan my schedule so each pet gets consistent care and attention, and I’m fully available for longer visits, drop-ins, or overnight stays during evenings. On weekends, I have much more flexibility, so I can offer extended care, multiple visits, or more time with your pet. I always make sure pets’ routines are followed closely, so they feel settled and well looked after even when their owners are away. Always happy to discuss in more details I tailor my care depending on the service and what each pet is used to, so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In a pet owner’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—feeding, fresh water, cleaning (including litter trays), exercise, and playtime. I take time to understand their personality, whether they’re energetic, shy, or independent, and make sure they get the right level of attention. I’m especially mindful of keeping their environment calm and familiar, which is important for cats and more sensitive pets like reptiles. I can also provide updates and photos so you know how they’re doing while you’re away. If caring in my home (if applicable), I create a safe, clean, and quiet environment where pets can settle in comfortably. I keep routines consistent, supervise them closely, and make sure they have plenty of enrichment, attention, and rest. I’m careful to introduce any new environment gradually, especially for more delicate or routine-driven animals. We have a fenced garden Across both settings, I focus on reliability, cleanliness, and making sure every pet feels secure, well cared for, and treated like my own.
“Had Hannah this last week to feed my two cats whilst away. She let me know every day that she has visited and took pictures of the cats if they were about. Would recommend and use Hannah again in the future.”
About: Me and my partner are huge animal lovers, we have grown up surrounded by pets of many different breeds- with many dogs in our family, from cockapoos, collies to German Shepherd's. Due to this we I have developed a good understanding of their needs. We have lots of experience dog sitting for family members and friends pets for up to 2 weeks. We will ensure all dogs receive lots of love, care, attention, playtime throughout the day. Working remotely allows us to attend to their needs at all times. ! I’m currently on maternity leave with my 4 months old son Harrison, my partner works remotely! Which means we can give your pets lots of care and attention. I love getting outdoors for long walks and doggie cuddles. We are happy to dog sit any sized dog, have access to a gated garden outside our home and and have lots of local parks one within a 1 min walk. We are able to fit in regular toilet breaks for your pet as our schedules are flexible. This means your pets won’t be alone at any time of the day.

About: We had a 4 year old cocker spaniel, Charlie. Throughout these two years we have struggled to find care for him. Therefore we would not want anyone to feel the same. We carried out these services for a year, however I became pregnant and had to have a break. Now I’m happy to take your little fur babies on a walk or check in whilst potentially losing that baby weight 👀🤭 I am currently on maternity leave, so are able to come by whenever is needed and suitable for yourself. I shall be with my baby. I have experience with walking different types of dogs, therefore we provide a safe walk on lead (or off if your dog requires it). I shall adhere to your routines which suits your dogs

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Stafford choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
