“I was very sceptical of having someone in our home . We had a 10 month old pup who had never been on her own ,as a week before we were going on holiday our other dog died. They were both booked in for the kennels we use.we didn’t want her to go the kennels on her own . I did a lot of research and came upon Arlete . The first meeting Luna was all over her , they do say animals sense good people , this made me feel at ease, we went for a walk with Luna and we both talked, it was like we new each others for years . There was a mistake on my side about time , we needed to go an hour earlier, Arlete was fantastic, she responded very fast to my texts and was there earlier. All though the holiday she sent pictures and we texted about Luna how she was . She took her for walks, couldn’t have asked for more . The house was clean and tidy. I’d definitely 100 percent have Arlete again, for Luna loved her .”

About: About Us: We’re a couple in our 20's based in Stone, Staffordshire. We’ve grown up around dogs and other pets and treat every animal in our care as if they were our own. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter, which has given me hands-on experience with dogs of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. Pets are welcome to roam freely around the house and settle in as part of the family (all furniture allowed!). We love spending time outdoors and regularly explore local walks and hikes, including the Peak District, so we’re happy to offer stimulating walks and adventures where suitable. I’ve grown up caring for cats, dogs, and even reptiles, so I’m comfortable adapting to different temperaments, routines, and needs. I work 9–5, so I’m available for morning visits before work and evening visits afterwards, making sure pets are fed, exercised, and comfortable at the start and end of each day. On weekends, I have much more flexibility, so I can offer extended care, multiple visits, or more time with your pet. In a pet owner’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—feeding, fresh water, cleaning (including litter trays), exercise, and playtime. I take time to understand their personality, whether they’re energetic, shy, or independent, and make sure they get the right level of attention. I’m especially mindful of keeping their environment calm and familiar, which is important for cats and more sensitive pets like reptiles. I can also provide updates and photos so you know how they’re doing while you’re away. If caring in my home (if applicable), I create a safe, clean, and quiet environment where pets can settle in comfortably. I keep routines consistent, supervise them closely, and make sure they have plenty of enrichment, attention, and rest. I’m careful to introduce any new environment gradually, especially for more delicate or routine-driven animals. About: I have had many pets during my childhood, including dogs, chickens, ponies, and fish! I currently have a 1 year old dog in my family home and knowing how much I love looking after her and being involved in training, more than I was with our last as I was too young, I would love to do some pet sitting during the summer holidays to help me save up for my first year at uni. I have trained my puppy very well including things like waiting for a treat thats on the floor, shaking paw, sitting on command, and stay. Considering she is a staff and our last was too, I know how their energy can be! No matter if your dog is a cuddly couch puppy or bouncing off the walls I know we will have a good time! I'm working part time as a bartender and waitress, so popping in to see your pup or staying with them is both very doable! The way my shift patterns work, I will be able to spend around half of the day with your pet on weekends and most of the day on weekdays! I have years of experience caring for my own dog and understand that some younger pups may need to be crated or kept to certain areas of the house. I also am a big believer in keeping your dog entertained with puzzles and toys that are engaging! I have made many fun activities for my dog and I find it keeps them busy and gets their brains working.

About: After Losing My childhood Dog last year I’ve taken to looking after my family and friends pets to fill a void . i’ve completed a level 3 diploma in animal management at college and have a naturally caring nature when it comes to animals. At the moment i’m puppy sitting two puppies weekly including having to care and nurture them overnight. My shipoo (Ronnie) lived a comfortable and happy life until he was 14 years old . This has given me experience looking after a senior dog as he needed many hours of care and attention through his last few months of his life. As i have a big family who all share the same love for pets as me , it’s given me plenty of opportunities over my lifetime to get the confidence i have with dogs . As i currently work as a cook in a nursing home i have had a DBS check :) I do 33 hours in a week and i do them as 3 ,11 hours shifts . my rota cover 4 weeks so its best for me to work on short notice. I work part time and my rota covers 4 weeks so if you’re looking for a pet sitter for a spontaneous weekend away i’m perfect to book. i’m very adaptable and will adjust to any rules you have for your pets . i’m comfortable with the thought of your pet sleeping in the bed or crate. I’m only available for pet sitting at the owners home as i think it’s better and less stressful for your dog to keep in there routines.
