About: What sets me apart is a lifetime of hands-on experience with a wide range of animals. I’ve grown up caring for cats, dogs, and even reptiles, so I’m comfortable adapting to different temperaments, routines, and needs. I’m especially confident with young pets, helping reinforce basic training, good habits, and consistent routines. I also provide attentive senior care, making sure older pets are comfortable, supported, and given the extra patience they need. Above all, I treat every pet as an individual—paying close attention to their personality, behaviour, and wellbeing so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work 9–5, so I’m available for morning visits before work and evening visits afterwards, making sure pets are fed, exercised, and comfortable at the start and end of each day. On weekdays, I plan my schedule so each pet gets consistent care and attention, and I’m fully available for longer visits, drop-ins, or overnight stays during evenings. On weekends, I have much more flexibility, so I can offer extended care, multiple visits, or more time with your pet. I always make sure pets’ routines are followed closely, so they feel settled and well looked after even when their owners are away. Always happy to discuss in more details I tailor my care depending on the service and what each pet is used to, so they feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible. In a pet owner’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine—feeding, fresh water, cleaning (including litter trays), exercise, and playtime. I take time to understand their personality, whether they’re energetic, shy, or independent, and make sure they get the right level of attention. I’m especially mindful of keeping their environment calm and familiar, which is important for cats and more sensitive pets like reptiles. I can also provide updates and photos so you know how they’re doing while you’re away. If caring in my home (if applicable), I create a safe, clean, and quiet environment where pets can settle in comfortably. I keep routines consistent, supervise them closely, and make sure they have plenty of enrichment, attention, and rest. I’m careful to introduce any new environment gradually, especially for more delicate or routine-driven animals. We have a fenced garden Across both settings, I focus on reliability, cleanliness, and making sure every pet feels secure, well cared for, and treated like my own.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life — my family have two beautiful Cavapoos, the loves of my life! One is a puppy and the other is five years old, so I've genuinely experienced both ends of the spectrum — the chaos and joy of puppyhood, and the lovely settled rhythm of a dog in their prime. That means I really get it when it comes to puppies — the energy, the need for reassurance, and the importance of keeping things consistent and calm. And with older dogs, I know how to keep them happy, comfortable, and well-exercised at their own pace. I love looking after multiple dogs at once — the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned! I also naturally weave basic training into my time with every dog, keeping good habits going while you're away. I genuinely love dogs and it shows — your pup will be in warm, caring hands with someone who truly gets it. I am currently working part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I am available for daytime, evening, and weekend house-sitting, and I can adapt my routine to suit your pet’s needs. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, regular playtime, or simply having company throughout the day, I am able to provide reliable and attentive care while maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible. When house-sitting in a pet owner’s home, I prioritise maintaining a safe, calm, and familiar environment for your pet. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their own surroundings, so I aim to keep their routine consistent, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care requirements. I am respectful of your home and will ensure it is kept clean, secure, and well looked after during my stay. I provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind, and I always take the time to build trust with each pet, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while you are away.

Beth was brilliant we would definitely recommend. She very generously offered a meet and greet and drove 30 minutes each way to meet our dog ahead of a 1 night sit. She was so attentive to our westie and was great with him. She gave plenty of updates which were much appreciated and we very much felt that out home and doggy were left in good hands. Thank you Beth 😊

About: I am a second year veterinary student with a lifelong passion for animals and hands-on-experience caring for a wide range of pets. Growing up with animals, I have trained my own dogs and regularly care for family, friends and neighbours dogs. Through my veterinary studies, I have developed knowledge of animal behaviour, handling, health and welfare allowing me to easily spot if any health issues arise in your pet. I have also completed placements at a dog and cat boarding kennel and an animal rescue centre giving me practical experience working with animals of different ages, temperaments and needs. I provide reliable and compassionate care, treating every pet as if they were my own. I have recently completed my second year of veterinary studies and am available for pet care from now until 28th September. My schedule is highly flexible including week days and weekends allowing me to accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. Please note that I have veterinary placement commitments during the weeks commencing 17th august and 24th august 2026. During these two weeks, I will be available on weekday evenings after 6pm and throughout the weekends. Outside of these dates, I am available throughout the day and can offer a high degree of flexibility to suit owners schedules. When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritise maintaining their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I follow all instructions provided regarding feeding, exercise medication and any specific care requirements ensuring each pet receives attentive and individual care. I take the time to provide companionship, enrichment and exercise appropriate to the pets needs while monitoring their health and wellbeing. As a veterinary student, I am familiar with animal behaviour allowing me to recognise signs of stress, illness or discomfort and respond appropriately. I also treat owners houses with respect, keeping the area clean and tidy and providing regular updates and photos for peace of mind. My aim is to ensure both pets and owners feel relaxed and confident throughout the pet sitting experience.

About: Hi there, If you’re looking for reliable pet care, I’d love to help! 🐾 When you book through my Rover profile using the link below, you’ll receive £15 off your first booking: https://www.rover.com/sit/mariac89067 Just use the link to claim your discount and secure your dates. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Over the years, I’ve learned how to care for dogs of all kinds—not just the happy, healthy ones, but also those who need a little extra attention. I live with Evie, my beautiful Olde English Bulldog, who’s been by my side since she was a pup. She’s now 5 and full of personality. Evie’s had her own health ups and downs, so I understand how important it is to be patient, gentle, and responsive to a dog’s individual needs. She’s neutered, well-mannered, and used to being around other dogs. As a registered nurse and mum of two, I’m naturally attentive and nurturing, and I bring that same care into how I look after animals. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love spending time with them—whether it’s a cuddle on the sofa or a walk through the woods. I’m home most of the time, and with plenty of lovely walking spots nearby, I make sure dogs get fresh air, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I treat every dog like family—with love, patience, and a calm, safe environment where they can feel right at home. I currently work part-time, which means I have plenty of free time to devote to your pup’s needs. My flexible routine allows for long walks, playtime, and lots of cuddles throughout the day. I’m available for boarding both during weekdays and weekends, ensuring your dog has companionship and care while you’re away. Dogs truly fit into my everyday routine, as I'm used to building our day around Evie and her needs. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. Whether it’s keeping them on their routine, providing medication if needed, or giving them cosy spots to rest, I always prioritise their well-being. Your pup will be cared for as if they were my own—getting plenty of love, play, and attention in a calm, safe environment.

About: I have had many pets during my childhood, including dogs, chickens, ponies, and fish! I currently have a 1 year old dog in my family home and knowing how much I love looking after her and being involved in training, more than I was with our last as I was too young, I would love to do some pet sitting during the summer holidays to help me save up for my first year at uni. I have trained my puppy very well including things like waiting for a treat thats on the floor, shaking paw, sitting on command, and stay. Considering she is a staff and our last was too, I know how their energy can be! No matter if your dog is a cuddly couch puppy or bouncing off the walls I know we will have a good time! I'm working part time as a bartender and waitress, so popping in to see your pup or staying with them is both very doable! The way my shift patterns work, I will be able to spend around half of the day with your pet on weekends and most of the day on weekdays! I have years of experience caring for my own dog and understand that some younger pups may need to be crated or kept to certain areas of the house. I also am a big believer in keeping your dog entertained with puzzles and toys that are engaging! I have made many fun activities for my dog and I find it keeps them busy and gets their brains working.

You can rest assured I will take your pets care and safety seriously, adhering to your schedule and pattern. I am available evenings and weekends primarily, as I work full time Monday to Friday 9-5pm. There is the possibility of lunch time pops in depending on my availability, and weekday availability during the usual holiday periods. If you require a little earlier please send a message with the details. If you require daytime pop ins and dog walks, please send me a message to agree times. I care for your pets in the way you and your pet desires. I like to pre meet before accepting a booking to make sure I am a good fit for your pets. I can highly recommend Andrew to look after your dog while you’re away. I’ve recently been on a short European city break, and after arranging the doggie day care and the actual holiday date, I lost my eldest dog. Andrew took even more special care of our other younger dog Luna a Cavalier King Charles. I appreciated the daily reports and the photos so it was a relief to know she was ok. Nothing was too much trouble in the care of Luna and I will definitely be using Andrew’s services again in the future.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Stafford on Rover is £46 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 1,458 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Stafford. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Stafford walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Stafford choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
