About: Last minute appointments accepted, I treat pets as they are my own and to the best of my ability make them feel comfortable around myself. Playful and ensure ur pet will definitely want to see me again :) I’m currently looking for part time work and in my free time I’d love to be around animals. No matter my routine. Animals will always come first in my book I live in a furnished apartment on 3rd floor which has a huge back garden that ur dog can enjoy a run around and play. There’s some woods across the road for nice walks also. There is also cctv on the property for safety

Izzie has looked after my dog Millie since being a puppy. She goes above and beyond taking her on long country walks and different fields. Izzie has helped me with training and gaining my confidence with having Millie off lead as well. Izzie loves animals and is a very kind, confident, caring and compassionate person. She understands different animals needs and puts them before herself. Every holiday I’ve been on Izzie has looked after Millie from day trips, to a week away and Millie loves it!

We have had pets for almost 20 years and Tom has grown up with these. He has a very relaxing temperament and knows just how to interact with all kinds of pets. He has always been very good with our dogs, taking them on long walks, throwing they're toys, comforting them when they get anxious. He rescued a dog from his next door neighbour last year, unfortunately the owner had passed away. Tom took the dog, who was very insecure and frightened and nurtured him back to good health and made him feel secure. I would have no hesitation on recommending Tom to anyone.

About: Hi, I'm Maria. I live in Stoke-on-Trent with my partner Warren. We have 3 cats of our own. Harley, JJ and Reacher. Harley and JJ are just entering their senior years at 8 years old. Reacher is just over 1 year old. I adore cats. The snuggly ones and the stubborn too! My 3 cats are all very different characters and I adore them all. I have been a cat sitter on and off for over 10 years but I have only fairly recently joing Rover. I have studied feline play needs and training. I have also spent my time doing extensive research in to feline nutrition, and health care issues. I am familiar with giving oral medication to cats. One of my cats is on a strict tablet and oral liquid regime which we stick to rigidly. We play with them daily, brush and maintain claws etc. They even have their own outdoor enclosure! Spoilt little things. I myself am a former care home manager. I worked in the care sector for over 20 years. I had to retire early due to ill health. My partner is also great at caring for our cats so if I need to be away, caring for yours, mine are well taken care of. I'm happy to visit to feed and play with your cats. I can also house sit. I can send photo's, video's and give you as much information as you want whilst you're away from your animal friend. I have also had rodents and fish, so I can take care of those too! I sadly am unable to have your pets in my home, as mine would not be very welcoming. Due to a muscle condition, I can only manage 1 flight of stairs without a lift. SOME CAT FACTS: Cats eat around 8 times a day. Leave cat biscuits out 24/7 even if feeding wet food twice per day. They will scoff if only eating twice a day. Cats should have 1 litter tray, plus 1. So 2 cats need 3 litter trays. 4 cats need 5 etc. Litter Should be between 1 and 2 inches full. Cats love to have enough to bury their waste, but they also like to know they can touch the bottom easily. Small, shallow litter trays are for kittens, not full-sized felines. Fresh drinking water should be readily available to cats. Change it once daily, twice in the summer or invest in a cat fountain. Cats hate contaminated water, so food and water should be 10 inches apart. Litter trays should also be over 10 inches away from water and food. Cats suffer from boredom. Especially indoor cats. Play with yours at least twice daily for a minimum of 15 minutes each time. Interactive toys can reduce boredom and stress if you're unable to do this. Follow the "hunt, catch, kill" rule when playing. Allow your cat to stalk a wand toy and catch it around 1 in 3 attempts. Laser toys are fun for cats but frustrating. Ensure you always finish the game by pointing it at a physical toy they can pounce on. Cats love to hunt. Try feeding treats or cat biscuits around your home. They love to search them out! When you're on your phone or laptop, try not to ignore your cat when he wants attention. Cats feel pushed out when ignored. It is far more effective to reward cats when their behaviour is good, rather than be told off when they are bad. Cats should NEVER pant. If they do, seek immediate medical attention! This is more likely in the summer if they are overheated. In extreme heat, have cool mats available, put ice cubes in their water, allow them to play with ice too! Do not comfort your cat when loud noises happen, such as fireworks. This teaches them that they should be scared. Instead, don't react but ensure your cat has somewhere safe to hide, such as under your bed. Never approach a cat like a claw machine at the fair! Instead, put your hand under his nose, allow the cat I can very easily work around the needs of you and your pets. I never take a booking if I can't dedicate myself to your needs 100%. I am able to house sit as my partner is very able to take care of our 3 cats. I will pop home to see them for a couple of hours each day, if I can, so I can pet and play with them. I love spending time with animals. Cats are my passion and I adore them. Because of this, I have studied feline play needs and training. I have also spent my time doing extensive research in to feline nutrition, and health care issues. I am familiar with giving oral medication to cats. One of my cats is on a strict tablet and oral liquid regime which we stick to rigidly. Whilst your away, I will treat your cats like they are my own until you get home. Even if I'm doing a pop in and feed booking, I will make sure your cat is petted and have playtime if they enjoy this. I will spend at least 30 minutes in your home per visit.

We had never been away without our dogs ever. I met Anita through work and she asked if she could use my dogs (2 Spanish water dogs) in her online training course. I said yes and she came to my house once a week and trained my dogs. After a few months of seeing her with the dogs and how much the dogs loved her we asked if she would stay at our house and sit dogs. She said she would. I was so nervous I rang 5 times a day to make they were OK, they were fine. The dogs love Anita and Anita loves the dogs.we have been away a few times since and now I dont worry at all. Anita has now completed her course but still comes up every week to see the dogs. She is the kindest person I know and loves animals. I would and indeed have recommended her to anyone.

I have left my dog kiwi in Chelsea’s care several times now. When ever I am away she always welcomes kiwi into her home. My dog is needs a lot of love and attention and I know he is in good hands with her. She loves him like he was her own. It’s nice to know he’s safe and being treated like the prince he is. There is no one I would rather look after my dog! She is amazing and I highly recommend her to all dog parents.

We arrived back from holiday to find our dogs Rosie and Lucy perfectly happy and had been extremely well looked after. Although we had a delayed flight home Kseniia went the extra mile by staying a little longer than originally planned which was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend Kseniia to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy house sitter. Our house was perfectly clean and tidy and just as we left it. It was so reassuring to know that our house and dogs were left in such capable hands.

Esther has just house sat for us for a week looking after our little Jack Russell and our cat. On our meet and greet Esther took in all the information we gave her about our pets. She interacted lovely with both pets. Esther communicated really well with us whilst we were away sending regular updates and pictures. We came home to a very happy dog and cat. We will be booking Esther again and would highly recommend her. Thank you Esther.

About: I had dogs and cats from a young age and professionally began walking neighbours/ family members dogs when I was about 16. Through college I volunteered at my local dog kennel in my free time and since moving into my own home I have enjoyed boarding dogs and walking them whilst I have the free time, I can no longer board larger dogs because of a change in circumstances however I am looking forward to continuing to dog sit smaller dogs at my flat and larger dogs at the owners house and walk up to 2 dogs at a time. I have great time keeping and I can work around difficult schedules so even if you have a pet that needs extra care I am up for the challenge. I’m currently a full time student and work a part time online job. Through may-October (my summer holidays) I am fully available. I am an active person and enjoy both jogging and leisurely strolls so whether you have a high demanding quick walking dog or one which requires a slower pace I’m happy either way. I am a fully insured dog sitter and dog walker. Currently not offering boarding at my home due to just moving but I have multiple references and experience of staying at the dog owners’ houses. At pet owners‘ house I take pride in my service, ensuring your pets stay in their same routine with walks and feeds which suit their needs.

Wow! What a brilliant time we had on holiday, safe in the knowledge Helena was looking after our babies. It was a tall order as we have 5 dogs, a cat, 5 Guinea pigs a rabbit and a hamster and many said no, but right from the first contact Helena was friendly, reassuring and knowledgeable and we knew we were in safe hands. We were concerned leaving them with someone new but they absolutely loved her and we had regular updates and pictures on how they were getting on. She went above and beyond to make sure they were all happy as I left a 10 page breakdown of our routines and their quirks etc which she happily accommodated for, which was amazing. We were also having the house renovated so the accommodation was less than 5*! And this wasn’t a problem either which we were very grateful for. We can’t recommend Helena highly enough and will definitely be using her services again in the future.
