“Hannah was wonderful with Reg, who can seem intimidating at first, due to his size and the fact he likes to shout at you to start with. She looked after him so well and he even knew her name and was so pleased to see her.”

About: Both my husband and I have always had animals in our lives and it is a love we continue to share with our dog, Bailey. A house is not a home without the sound of little (or big) paws following you around. As a family, we love exploring new places to walk and frequently find ourselves on bike rides and walks! Rest assured, your pooch will not be bored at any point during their stay. We are available for boarding Friday through to Sunday with minimal limitations, making weekend trips away stress free for your family. We are happy to consider boarding in the week but both my husband and I work in the week however I often work from home so this would be discussed on an ad-hoc basis depending on the circumstances. We have a secure garden that is big enough to run around and let all the zoomies out! We also are very lucky to live on the back of a very big park!! We are happy to crate your pup if provided. Our dog loves company and there are no off-limit zones in our house with doggy cuddles on the sofa and sleepovers upstairs (unless of course you would prefer to reflect what you do at home which is absolutely fine!)
About: I have had family dogs ever since I was a baby, grown up with Staffordshire bull terriers. Have since had Labrador/collies now currently have a 5 year old lurcher. Love taking long walks with my dog, he loves other dogs and happily accepts them into our house. Please get in touch if you need help with your dog wether it's just a one off or on a regular basis I'll be happy to help and can't wait to meet them. I don't work anymore so I am very flexible for dog walks, home visits and boarding. Let me know what you need and I will try and accommodate. I have a full enclosed back garden and a fur baby to keep your dog company and to play zoomies with around the garden. I am around almost all day to feed, walk, play and look after them. Also have a dog flap fitted so they have the freedom to come and go into the garden as and when needed

About: Hi, my name is Jess! I live with my lovely little family and our gorgeous Goldendoodle, Bodhi. I’ve had some time away from Rover since relocating, however now I’m settled and working from home with lots of spare time again, I am back offering my family home for your fur baby. My family and I have an unconditional love for animals, especially dogs! I’m an experienced dog owner, enhanced DBS checked, and I run my own small business from home. This means that, between the school runs, I’m around throughout the day in the house to provide walks, regular garden breaks, companionship and plenty of cuddles. Your dog won’t be left alone for any long periods and will become part of our family during their stay. I completely understand how important it is to feel reassured when leaving your furry friend with someone else. I’m very happy to send regular photographs and updates so you can relax knowing that your dog is safe, settled and being thoroughly doted on. We have two animal loving children, aged five and seven, who are gentle, caring and respectful around dogs. For everyone’s safety and happiness, we can only welcome dogs who are comfortable and safe around children and who will be a good fit within our family home. Our Goldendoodle, Bodhi, is three years old and has the most wonderful temperament. She loves children and other dogs, is full of character and can be excitable when she first meets someone—but she soon settles and is generally very relaxed and rather lazy! Throughout my childhood and adult life, I have cared for a variety of animals, including dogs of many different breeds, rabbits, ducks and turtles. We have a lovely garden where dogs can enjoy some fresh air, play and explore. We also live close to beautiful fields that are perfect for enjoyable walks and lovely scenery. We have spare bowls, blankets, leads, treats, puppy pads if required and a separate, peaceful feeding area. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including their feeding schedule, walks, sleeping arrangements and any individual care instructions. Please bring anything familiar that may help them feel comfortable and settled. I’m also very happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand so that you, your dog, Bodhi and our family can get to know one another and make sure it feels like the right fit for everyone. A dog truly makes a house a home, and we have been lucky enough to welcome many dogs into ours. Any dog staying with us will receive a loving, home-from-home experience and will be treated as part of our family until it is time for them to return to yours. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss your dog’s needs or arrange a meeting. 🐾 I run my own business from home, so I’m available throughout the day between the school runs. This gives me plenty of time to offer your dog regular garden breaks, daytime walks, playtime, companionship and lots of cuddles. My work is flexible, meaning I can adapt my routine to meet each dog’s individual needs. We have a fully enclosed, secure garden with high fencing where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time. Our home also has several internal doors, allowing us to create separate, calm areas whenever needed, particularly during feeding or settling-in time. Dogs are supervised around our children, who are gentle, respectful and experienced with animals. We follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walking, sleeping and medication routines. Dogs remain safely on a lead during walks unless otherwise agreed, and we offer a meet and greet beforehand to make sure they are comfortable with Bodhi, our children and our home.
“A wonderful dog walking experience! Steve is so kind and attentive. Our dogs really loved him from the moment they met him. We will definitely be booking him again to help us with dog care!”

“Charlie is absolutely lovely to work with. She's punctual, approachable, and Harris took to her straight away which is rare as Harris usually cautious with new people. We are so happy to have found Charlie and are excited for many more walks as well as potential house sitting in the future. Highly recommend her!”

“We were thrilled with Maria's care for our dog Sooty. It was only short term but Maria really forged a bond and sent lots of videos of him enjoying himself. Great communication and really friendly”

“Holly so enjoyed her time with Alice. Alice was reliable and trustworthy. She came into my house when I was in hospital with absolutely no issues. Holly was well cared for and I had lots of photos and updates to put my mind at ease. Looking forward to booking again.”

About: I have had dogs as pets pretty much all my life when living at home. Now that I live alone having a dog of my own wouldn’t work due to my job and working away. I would really love to still be able to look after dogs for other people and still get time with yours 😅 I currently work 2 on 4 off which means I’m away for 2 whole days sometimes 3 but back home for 4 so I have alot of free time. I live in a secure 2 bed flat but my estate has a lot of greenery where they can be out and about doing lots of walking.

About: I spent 14 years caring for my own Labrador, so I understand the daily rhythm dogs and cats need — regular walks, feeding times, and plenty of attention. Alongside that, I've helped friends and neighbours look after their dogs and cats whenever they've gone on holiday, covering everything from walks and feeding to daily drop-in visits to check in, play, and keep them company. I know how much peace of mind it gives you to know your pet is in safe, familiar hands while you're away. Whether it's a daily walk, a feeding visit, or a full day of company, I treat every pet like my own — with patience, consistency, and genuine care. I'm based in Stoke-on-Trent. I'm happy to discuss your pet's specific routine and needs before we get started. My schedule gives me great flexibility for regular care. On Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I'm free all day and can offer morning, midday, or evening dog walks, along with drop-in visits at any time that suits you. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I'm at university, so I'm generally available in the evening. On weekends, I'm available in the afternoons around my work schedule. I'm happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet's routine. For dogs, I focus on giving them plenty of exercise with long walks, along with lots of playtime and attention throughout the visit. For cats, I bring that same energy minus the walks — spending time playing, engaging with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and looked after while their owners are away. Whether it's a quick drop-in or a longer visit, my goal is to make sure every pet gets genuine attention, not just the basics.
About: I am a licensed security dog handler and also own 4 large breed dogs myself which I have trained to a high standard. Owning working dogs too, I am very capable of handling all breeds of dogs. I am happy to accept dogs with behavioural issues, lack of manners, lead pulling or reactivity. These are all things I have experienced and overcame with some of my own dogs and foster dogs in the past. I own a Belgian Malinois who is my working security dog, so I also understand that high drive dogs may not be fulfilled with just a walk around the block. I can offer enrichment and fulfilment sessions to suit the individual dog. I am fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained. My insurance is also inclusive of banned breeds, I specifically chose this due to me having 2 XL Bullys myself so you have peace of mind that I’m fully aware of the exemption rules and these will be followed at all times. Please be aware any exempt dogs will need to be a 1:1 ratio dog to handler at all times. I offer both group walks and solo walks, adventure days, house sitting, pop ins and overnight stays. I currently only work part time and I am self employed so I’m able to change my work schedule to fit around the dogs in my care. I have a house with a large secure garden, situated in a very small village in the countryside. I am able to keep my own dogs completely separate from any other dogs.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences – Stafford
We booked Hannah to walk our dog Loki all week whilst I was away on a work trip and my partner struggled to balance our 10 week old baby and walking Loki. Hannah created such a great bond with Loki straight away and after a couple of days he was sat waiting by the door for her to arrive at 10am! Clearly very experienced and loves spending time with dogs - would 100% recommend, and seeing daily pictures of Loki having a great time gave me peace of mind whilst away from home. Will be our go-to for any boarding/walking requirements in the future
