I live in the perfect location for walkies 🐕 whether that’s a gentle stroll down the canal or the country park that has access to the river Dee and aqueduct .

Your house sit would be no different. I have been used to global pet sits of 1 to 2 months at a time, but equally, as I type, I'm sharing the sofa with a new furry pal in Suffolk for the week. It is unlikely that I would take any offers below 7 days. I am looking for pet sits during vacation from work. As such, my schedule would be adaptable to best match that of your beloved pet. I'm happy to explore the local woods & surroundings for up to 3hrs, dependent on the needs of your dog, and would keep to all of their normal scheduled meal / rest times. I like to pet sit to be with the pets, it is that simple. I could fly away and lay on the beach for a week or so, or maybe take myself away to the nearest ski resort, but that is nowhere near enjoyable as plotting a route to explore the woods using Ordinance Survey Apps with a new pal by my side, or playing fetch, tug or grooming. And I don't know why, but a nice pint in a quintessential British pub always tastes better with a pal at your heels.

Your dog would get three walks daily, cuddles and playtime. I am also happy to follow your dogs daily pattern. I have been around dogs for 35 years and have had my own dogs for 15years. I have plenty of experience with nervous dogs due to rescuing a Dalmatian and volunteering in dog rescues in Sicily and Malta. I will ensure your house is kept clean and also put bins out if required. If you have any questions then please let me know. I work remotely during the day but available to walk your dogs in the morning, lunch and then anytime from 5pm. I will also be available to sit with them whilst i work on the sofa and provide extra potty breaks whenever needed. I would follow your dogs schedule whilst keeping your lovely home clean and tidy. I will ensure the house is always locked whilst I am at home.

He is completely reliant on us, comes everywhere with us, and leaving him was a huge worry for me. I found Tarrah through Rover and from our very first conversation, she put my mind at ease. She came to our house twice before we went away so that she and Norman could get to know each other, and then moved into our home to look after him while we were in America. She was absolutely wonderful. She sent us videos and updates every single day, which meant so much to us and allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing that Norman was happy and being so well cared for. She took him on different little walks, gave him lots of attention and affection, and he absolutely loved being with her. In fact, I think he misses her a little bit now! Tarrah also looked after our home beautifully, and we came back to a very happy dog and everything just as we’d left it. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter than Ayeisha. She stayed in our home for a week looking after our two Cockapoos while we were on holiday, and from start to finish she was absolutely amazing. The dogs adored her, and it was so clear from the regular, detailed updates and photos that they were happy, relaxed and having the best time. Ayeisha went above and beyond to keep them entertained with games, enrichment and plenty of treats. She also walked them multiple times a day, making sure they got plenty of exercise while keeping their routine as normal as possible, and it gave us complete peace of mind knowing they were so well cared for. We were especially worried as it was during a heatwave, but Ayeisha exceeded all of our expectations. She did everything possible to keep the dogs cool and comfortable, adjusting walks when needed, and regularly sent reassuring messages letting us know how they were coping. It meant we could actually relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying. Ayeisha was incredibly professional throughout and treated both our dogs and our home with so much care and respect. We came home to two very happy dogs and an immaculate house—it genuinely looked as though nobody had been there! She really was the perfect pet sitter to have in our home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring and reliable. We’ve already rebooked her for September and can’t wait to have her back!”

About: I have experience with a variety of species from looking after my own pets, family’s pets, pet sitting since the beginning of this year, 5 years of animal care at college up to an Animal Management degree, 2 years stable hand experience and 1 year at a small zoo with animals such as wolf dogs, lemurs, 10 foot reticulated pythons, meerkats and emu among others. I can provide further details and also have a small rescue page that documents some of the animals I’ve cared for, as my main goal is to have a flexible schedule that allows me to take in stray/unwanted pets and injured wildlife. And I would love to here from you, no matter the enquiry x I currently work part time Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 5pm, so have plenty of availability throughout the week, and if given 6 weeks advance notice I may be able to book work off. For safety reasons I prefer to have a double door system set up if possible in homes with flighty fur babies, and dogs will ideally stay on the lead unless they have good recall and we’re in a secure field. I have some experience riding, but only on a sound horse, so would only be willing to exercise horses with ground work or with test rides before your booking.

They took a real interest in his likes and dislikes, his schedule and his health issues (previously epileptic but no longer has seizures). They understood that all the health tests he had had previously made him nervous and anxious around strangers and handled this really well. Megan looked after Alfie in our home for 7 days. She took good care of him and was respectful in our home. Megan provided regular updates so we knew Alfie was ok and it was clear from the pictures she sent that Alfie settled with her and was having lots of cuddles.
