“Sarah is simply amazing! She recently looked after our excitable teenage Golden Retriever who we had never left with anyone else before. Our dog was initially nervous but Sarah knew how to ease him in. Sarah sent so many lovely pictures and videos which really showed how much fun he was having, but also how much Sarah cares about your dog during their stay. Sarah also understands how you as an owner may feel when leaving your dog with someone and built trust with us and communicated with us daily. I would certainly recommend Sarah and I think our pup howould be thrilled to go back!!”

“If I could give 100 out of 5 I would!! Tracy and Seb are amazing!! They are so warm and friendly and they loved our Lewi like their own. They made us feel so at ease and it was as if we had left Lewi with family. They kept us updated and they went above and beyond to accommodate Lewi and all of his needs. Thank you both, we are so grateful. Lots of love, Yaz and Tiff ❤️”

About: Hi I'm Kim, an enthusiastic do lover from birth. I've always been around dogs from a young age. I've cared and loved my own terrier for 5 years now and he is the loveliest little boy you will ever meet. It can be a nervous time trusting a stranger with your fur baby but my aim is to treat your dog as if they were my own. I am more then happy to broaden my experience and care for other breeds and wonderful animals. I will also send you photos and videos and keep you updated on what your doggo is up to I live in a friendly neighbourhood in a cosy, and safe environment with a fenced off garden to run around in. I regularly go out for walks with my dog the same time every day. I try and mix things up and visit different places or routes to make it interesting. Feeding is also part of the routine at the same time, day and night. Your dog will have toys to play with and a friend to socialise with in my very cosy and open home. Dogs have free reign of the whole house, Chilling on the sofa or cuddles in bed, water is regularly topped up and an abundant of treats are always on stand by
“Amazing communication throughout ! We booked with Samantha at short notice and she was very accommodating. At regular intervals throughout the day we received pictures and updates for our dog. I think our Otis enjoyed his stay that much he didn’t want to come home.”

“Our little girl Fiadh absolutely loved her stay with Jake and his partner! She enjoyed lovely walks and play time in the river. We will definitely use Jake again when we are next up that way. Jake and his family are proper dog lovers. Was like he couldn't wait to meet Fiadh and formed a bond before we picked her up. 10/10”

“Abbi was so accommodating and obviously a real dog lover, so it made it easy to leave Leila in her safe hands. She was very easy to communicate with, both before and during the booking. Leila has come home very tired after obviously being very well looked after and cared for. Thank you so much Abbi!”

“Nat and Neil were fantastic throughout the whole booking. Our first time using Rover but both filled us with confidence immediately at the introductory meet. Attentive and reassuring with all our dog’s needs. We received regular updates throughout the boarding with lovely pictures. I’m not sure our dog wanted to come back home 😆 after clearly having a great time. Would highly recommend. Thank you so much!”

About: As a teacher, I am naturally patient, reliable and caring, and I bring those same qualities to looking after animals. I absolutely adore pets and treat every animal as if they were my own. I do not have children, so my own dog is very much my baby, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can completely trust with your pet. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs, including looking after neighbours’ pets while they are away on holiday, regularly caring for my parents’ and sister’s pets, and dog walking for elderly neighbours. I am confident with animals of different ages and temperaments and always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable and loved. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every pet. I know every animal has their own routine, personality and needs, and I am happy to adapt to what makes them happiest. Whether that is long walks, lots of play and attention, or a calm and gentle approach for older or more nervous pets, I will always provide the same level of care that I would expect for my own dog. I currently have 6 weeks off over the summer holidays. Due to not having children, I can be incredibly flexible with pet care. I take my own dog for 3 walks a day anyway and enjoy physical activity. I have one cavapoo boy dog who absolutely loves company. We have a lovely fenced garden that we will often play in, an endless supply of toys and even a small paddling pool for the summer hotter months.
“Dave was a fantastic sitter for my very timid whippet he was so patient with her and took time to understand her ‘unique ways’ I would definitely ask Dave to look after Cagney again.”

“Amazing dog sitter! Guy is friendly, knowledgeable and very easy going. We had updates and photos sent throughout our time away and our dog was clearly very happy and well looked after when we picked her up. I would highly recommend. Thank you Guy, we really appreciate it ?”

“Hugo had the best stay with Paul! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend - provided a lovely safe loving home for Hugo for the day/night and Hugo was so calm and happy there. Thank you very much”

“Our dog Maggie was warmly welcomed into Jennie’s home and family. It was Maggie’s first experience of staying with other people outside of her main home and was treated like she was their own dog. We found it to be a great place and would have no hesitation in our Maggie staying with Jennie’s family again.”

“Nana spent a week with Emma and Nick, although it was her first time she settled rather quickly. They kept us updated with pictures and when we went to pick her up we could tell that she had a great time, she was as excited as always to see us but spent most of the journey home just relaxed, which for her only means that she played as much as she wanted 😂😂”

“Carlos is amazing. He’s reasonably priced, super reliable and very friendly. I was worried about leaving my dog as she has bad separation anxiety but she had a great time with the whole family and his dog. 10/10 would recommend and will be using again in the future.”

“Highly recommend! I felt incredibly comfortable leaving our dog with Rebecca. Her experience and love for dogs was obvious right from the start. Plus, her excellent communication and regular updates were so helpful and reassuring while we were away. I will definitely book with her again and recommend to anyone looking for this service. Thank you 😊”

“Harriet is a really amazing caring young Lady, our Crazy Black Lab instantly took a liking to Harriet and we knew he was in very safe hands .We had an overnight trip to Heathrow , and unfortunately we got terribly held up on the journey home , but Harriet was so helpful and bought Hugo back to our home for us , we were so grateful, she really is Amazing and we are very lucky to have found her & so is Hugo , he had the time of his life .. Thank you Harriet x”

“Mike was absolutely wonderful with my anxious dog - all the “problems” I’d had elsewhere with my very active collie, Mike completely took in his stride, and had several solutions for. My dog was not just cared for, he was also entertained, exercised, stimulated and snuggled - he loved his time there and I would not hesitate to use Mike’s services again.”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Oswestry
Soraya was a great sitter during the time I was abroad. She is very friendly and respectful of the pet's space/body language, and made sure to create a comfortable environment. She was accommodating around drop-off and pickup times. She took my dog for almost daily swims out in nature and made sure she got enough exercise during the walks. She communicated daily and sent pictures/videos of how it was going, although I would have liked a few more pictures, but it's just me nitpicking really. Overall great experience, I'd definitely book with her again.
