Genuine love of dogs
My childhood home was always filled with pets particularly dogs. I have had 2 springer spaniels myself and occasionally look after my son's and my friends dogs.

I have found a gem of a sitter. My little boy loved staying with Susan. Daily updates reassured me. Susan treated Coban as one of her own. Any treats, Susan first gained approval. Will I use again - ABSOLUTELY.
Wouldn’t have anyone else to look after our boy now. Sue gave me daily updates and pictures which meant so much to me. And he absolutely loved his holidays with Sue and Kim
Sue was fantastic right from the first message. She took great care to really get to know Winston’s routine to help him settle in and kept us updated with how he was doing. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, Winston had a great stay and I would recommend Sue everytime. Thank you so much!
From the very beginning when I found Sue on Rover, I have felt relaxed that my boy is going to be in the best hands. We met up for a meet and greet first so he could meet her, and today he went for a day with her. Sue kept me updates throughout the day on how he was doing, which meant a lot to me. He is looking forward to his week holiday in April :) we couldn’t be happier knowing he is going to be so spoilt with Sue and Kim. Thank you both I have a very tired little boy now 🩵

Schedule
I am a retired nurse and currently need a job that will keep me close to home. My husband is at home also and is a dog lover too .The dog would need to be comfortable with a man in the house however my husband will not be involved in the care of your pet. Any dog coming to our home would need to be used to children as I have a 6 year old granddaughter who visits regularly.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced garden which is safe for up to a Labrador size dog.. I have a stair gate if needed and room for a dog crate although don't own one myself.
A typical day
I will make sure the dog in my care has exercise as per their routine at home. They will have access to a long garden and all the comforts of home.
