About: I have owned a dog for over 15 years! I have plenty of experience caring for various breeds, including cockers, broader collies and corgis! I have trained my own corgi from when he was a pup. I've always loved dog and going on walks and thought why not give Rover a go and help others out who need some dog sitting!! I am a full time worker but live a short 5minute walk from work therefore can check on the dogs at anytime of day. I also have the option to work from home if need be. At the rear I have a fenced small yard so that dogs can go outside and still be safe. Pets allowed on furniture but are not allowed upstairs - which is blocked off.

During that time, I also looked after a Patterdale Terrier for four months who was abandoned after being in a violent household. I regularly care for two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel × Bichon Frise crosses, taking them for walks, feeding them, staying overnight, and making sure they get lots of attention and affection. I also looked after a rescue Staffy for over a year, walking and feeding her, staying overnight with her, and even taking her camping with me. It was incredibly rewarding helping her build confidence and enjoy new experiences. For two years, I regularly walked a French Mastiff, a Black Labrador, and a Cocker Spaniel. I've also cared for and walked many other breeds, including Labradors, Huskies, German Shepherds, and Jack Russells, so I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. “We had a meet and greet before hand, and I knew when we got there Tex (our dog) loved her, paddy and the garden. Sarah was very welcoming and I felt comfortable from the start Tex stayed there for 3 nights and Sarah made us feel comfortable and happy that Tex was having the best time. She sent me photos and videos of Tex going for walks, going to the lake, in the garden and this was great. Tex loved Sarah and Paddy and I will 100% be booking Tex in again. Although I no longer have a dog of my own, I regularly look after dogs for family and friends, including puppies, senior dogs, and those with behavioural needs that require extra patience and care. I’m trusted to walk, feed, and provide overnight boarding for dogs, often for several days at a time. I have also spent time volunteering at Cardiff Dog's home and have walked many different breeds. I have a large, secure garden and I'm located close to the beach as well as having plenty of countryside nearby for long walks. “After an initial meet and great whereby Linda went through her background/animal history, asked lots of questions about Charlie to help him settle in with her as well as possible. Charlie has his first full day of doggy day car with Linda. He look to Linda extremely well and made a beeline for her when we arrived (a very good sign!). When I picked him up he had obviously had a great day, he was settled, content and happy. I was given a run down of his day. Really pleased how the day went and I will be using Linda has my regular sitter; day care and boarder for Charlie ?”

About: I had many years helping my parents who owned a dog walking/dog sitting business. They are now retired. During summers I tended to live in other peoples homes and take care of their pets. One house I regularly pet sitted for, had 2 dogs, 2 cats, rabbits and a snake. I am a confident dog walker and can stick to the walking routes the dog is most comfortable with or create new routes. I can adapt depending on what's needed. I am a mobile Self Employed Massage Therapist who works for the TV, Theatre and Music industry so my work is very sporadic and spaced out. Any pet setting enquiries, I would make sure are admin days or I am only out the house a couple of hours. I would never dog sit if I knew I was going to be out the house for long periods. I can cover North Wales and as far as Chester for petsitting in your home. I can fit in with your needs and schedule. I'm a massage therapist but my work can be flexible and if I'm not fully available or can't dedicate the time needed to your pet, I definitely will be upfront about that and pass on the booking. I only pet sit in the owners home but I will always make your pet feel comfortable and will do a meet and greet first so they can get used to me before I petsit.
