About: I love to be outdoors and spend time with dogs whether it be a walk, games or just cuddles! Growing up, my family always had dogs so I have cared for them my whole life and absolutely adore them. I have experience volunteering at a dog shelter walking and caring for the rescues which was very rewarding. I have been dog-walking and dog-sitting for over 10 years and I just genuinely enjoy being around them. I am available for dog walking most days of the week as I am a student so have a fairly flexible timetable. I could also do dog-sitting in the owner’s home or short visits during the day. I am currently a masters student so I have the odd day/certain hours off during the week where my timetable permits and I am free most weekends. My schedule does vary so it is best to ask in advance. I am unable to care for pets in my current home as it is a student house share but I am happy to come to the owner’s home to let them out during the day or just give them some company.

I had no reservations leaving Meg with them. They were very accommodating - Meg is a puppy so still learning the ropes and learning commands. About: I grew up loving our two cats and looked after a friend's miniature poodle for 7 months once. Hard to let go after that long! :) I work from home and would be able to keep a loving eye on any pet staying with us, plus give them regular walkies and play times. Just reach out to see if I'm available as the Rover calender seems to be glitching and isn't letting me input my availability as I'd like it to...hopefully will get it sorted soon though, thank you for your patience! “Katie looked after our two Dachshunds for two days and nights, whilst we had a family holiday in Llandudno. We were very apprehensive leaving them with anyone, especially someone new. However, Katie was perfect they went straight to her and had a good look around her house as soon as we got there. They normally take a while to accept someone new but they acted like they already had been to stay before. Katie was very calm and friendly and both of them took to her straight away. Katie seems a natural and caring person with animals and sent us updates which helped us feel reassured. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Katie to any dog/pet owner. About: RVN with a vast experience in looking after animals. I have worked in an emergency vet practice for the last 4 years and have experience in referral nursing and charity nursing. I have been in the profession for 7 years and care deeply about the welfare of pets and making pets at home when not at home I work from home full time and available for pet sitting and boarding 7 days a week, we love furry visitors in our home ! We have a yard with brick walls which pets will have access to whenever they require. I walk my own dogs before, during and after walk so your pets will never be bored ! I am flexible in the needs of your pets, able to give medications, mail clipping, anal gland services too !
About: I am currently completing a level 2 apprenticeship in animal care and welfare :) I live near the sea front in Colwyn Bay and know plenty of great walking spots! I also have extensive experience caring for a wide variety of animals of all ages, including cats, dogs and small animals, and I adore them all! You can trust me to take good care of yours if you happen to be away or busy :) I’m currently working 5 days a week, from 8:15 - 4:15. I work locally so am available from 4:30/5 and onwards. There will be two (varying) days a week when I will be available from morning until evening :) I am always very conscientious and attentive when taking care of any pet, as I know the standard of care they deserve. I will always keep their environment clean and tidy, and if I am caring for your pet at your home you can be sure that this will be the case. I am also extremely careful to adhere to an owners specific instructions when their pet is under my care. I am aware that all animals require care that is specific to their individual needs.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
