Phoebee was amazing with Leia, who had a wonderful time with her. She kept me updated with messages and photos. I will be looking to use her services again, and would reccommend her to anyone seeking a good, reliable and caring dog sitter.

Oskar took my cat to the vets for me. Arrived in plenty of time to pick him up, and kept me updated on when he would arrive back. Excellent communication - responsive and thoroughly answered any questions I had. My cat gets very anxious when traveling, but Oskar was very reassuring about keeping things as calm as possible for him. Very happy to use again. Thanks Oskar!

About: My family has owned pets my entire life, the earliest memory I have of caring for them personally was 12/13 years ago. I have studied level 3 animal management in college and am currently studying zoology. At the moment I have cats, in the past owning guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish. No animal or breed is out of bounds for me to care for! I have no restrictions on the size, age, or temperament of pet. It is my upmost duty to keep your animal happy and safe while in my care. I work part time Sunday-Wednesday so I have lots of free time to spend with your pets! My availability is Thursday-Saturday all day, howeverate afternoon/evening visits can be arranged on the rest of the weekdays if needed. I will cuddle, play with, and generally make sure your pet is the happiest it can be whilst in my care. I will never leave your pet unattended for long periods of time, and certainky not with access to water and toys.

Rhiannon was fantastic. She embraced a last minute dog sitting for our large dog. She made the process very easy, was eager to know as much as possible about Bruce to maintain his usual routine and maintained communication and sent us pictures which really put us at ease. House was spotless and couldn’t fault her, highly recommend and Bruce looks forward to being looked after again in the near future. Thanks Rhiannon.

About: caring for your pet as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to trust someone with your babies, that’s why I created coastal paws Anglesey, because I genuinely care and I would choose animals over humans every single time! Pet care is a central part of my daily routine and something I’m genuinely passionate about. My schedule is structured around providing reliable, consistent care for the dogs and pets I look after, including dedicated walking slots, home visits, feeding routines, enrichment, and plenty of attention. I keep my group walks small to ensure every dog receives proper care, supervision, and a calm environment. I’m also flexible where possible and understand how important reliability and communication are for pet owners. Safety, trust, and animal wellbeing are my biggest priorities. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, behaviour, and individual needs so they feel comfortable and secure in my care. For dog walks, I keep groups small and structured to maintain a calm, safe environment and ensure every dog gets the attention they deserve. I always follow owner instructions carefully regarding leads, recall, feeding, medication, routines, and home access. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I treat both the pets and the property with the same respect and care I would expect for my own. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone else, and I never take that responsibility lightly.

About: I have always loved dogs and although never grew up with one in my own home, always looked after and walked the neighbours’. My brother has 2 dogs now who I look after frequently and care for and I have previously lived with a roommates dog so I have been around and looked after many! I am currently working a flexible schedule, always available weekends and evenings but please contact for availability midday/midweek and open to longer stays if needed. I have space for a small dog in my home but preference is to look after them in yours. Of course always happy to take them for walks!

Bianca took amazing care of our four cheeky fur babies in our home for two weeks and made everything easy and stress-free. Communication was smooth from the start - we got regular updates showing happy and healthy pups, and we felt like we could truly relax while being away. :) Bianca was calm, considerate of the girls' different needs, and left our house tidy (with a sweet welcome note, too!). We would happily recommend Bianca to others for her relaxed, caring and resourceful approach. :)

About: Hi, I'm Dave and I have many years experience of working with dogs and other pets. I can also offer lead training if needed. I have also looked after farm animals in my younger years. I am semi retired and have plenty of spare time. I like to be active outdoors and live on the coast so I can utilise the coastal pathways. I have a large estate car with a dog guard and other safety accessories. My vehicle is also insured for business use. I only walk dogs on a 1-1 basis and always keep them on the lead. I ensure I have an emergency phone number and authorisation to use their vet if need be. I ensure I have the pets routines and feeding times in writing. I am fully insured and have a DBS certificate.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Isle of Anglesey choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
