I regularly care for two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel × Bichon Frise crosses, taking them for walks, feeding them, staying overnight, and making sure they get lots of attention and affection. I also looked after a rescue Staffy for over a year, walking and feeding her, staying overnight with her, and even taking her camping with me. About: Hi, I'm Dave and I have many years experience of working with dogs and other pets. I can also offer lead training if needed. I have also looked after farm animals in my younger years. I am semi retired and have plenty of spare time. I like to be active outdoors and live on the coast so I can utilise the coastal pathways. I have a large estate car with a dog guard and other safety accessories. My vehicle is also insured for business use. I only walk dogs on a 1-1 basis and always keep them on the lead. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
