I work four days a week and have Wednesdays and weekends off, which allows me plenty of time to spend with the dogs in my care. Walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention are all built into my day. My long term partner (Josh), who I live with, also shares responsibility for caring for any dogs staying with us. He works from home full time, meaning dogs are never left alone during the day and always have company, supervision, and access to toilet breaks, walks, and plenty of fuss. Together, we provide a safe, caring, and consistent environment where dogs can feel relaxed and at home.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a secure two bedroom flat. We currently have no pets of our own, so any dogs staying with us receive our full attention and care. Dogs are welcome throughout the flat and can relax on sofas and move freely between rooms, helping them feel comfortable and at home. When out for walks or toilet breaks, I always ensure dogs are kept on the lead for safety. The grounds around our building include green space and are away from the main road, providing a safe and calm environment for exercise and outdoor time. My priority is always to provide a secure, relaxed, and trustworthy space where dogs are well cared for at all times.

Information Lucy T. would like to know about your pet
It’s really helpful to know a few things about your dog before they stay with me so I can make sure they’re happy and well looked after. Please let me know about any special needs, health conditions, medications, or anything else I should be aware of. It’s also good to know whether your dog can be let off lead or if they need to stay on lead during walks, as well as how they are with other dogs and people. If you can, sharing their usual routine too (like feeding times and any little habits they have) really helps me keep things consistent and make them feel at home while they’re with me.
A typical day
A typical day with the dogs I look after entails a good balance of activity, fun, and downtime. I love spending time playing with them both inside the flat and outside, making sure they’re happy, engaged, and getting plenty of attention. We’re just a one minute walk from a local park and gardens, which is perfect for daily walks, sniffing, and lots of tennis ball throwing. I also enjoy taking dogs out on little adventures when it suits them, whether that’s a drive to parks around Liverpool or a trip to the beach for a change of scenery. After a good walk or play, I make sure they have plenty of time to settle and relax, usually curled up on the sofa feeling comfortable, safe, and at home.

Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my entire life and absolutely love being around them. For the past three years, I've regularly dog-sat for friends and family, caring for dogs for anything from an afternoon to several weeks at a time. I live in a pet-free city centre flat with access to green space within the grounds, and we're right next door to a park and gardens where I take dogs for regular walks and exercise. I'm confident with all aspects of dog care, including feeding, walking, administering routine medications, and providing plenty of love, attention, and companionship. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pet and will always care for your dog as if they were my own.
Reviews
Lucy has had lots of experience looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes. She regularly pet sits for for a friends Staffie Lurcher Cross and another friend's labradoodle. They are both large dogs with one having anxiety issues but Lucy has no problem taking care of them. She has also looked after my own labrador for several days who suffers from vomiting syndrome so must be fed small amounts regularly which Lucy followed the guidelines correctly. She is a responsible pet sitter who listens to the owner instructions on food, walk time etc. She genuinely enjoys caring for dogs and will regularly take them for walks and knows how to control the dog and can be firm with them if need be.
