We live in Liverpool and, honestly, our world pretty much revolves around animals. Why your pet will love staying with us: This is a total team effort! I (Dilki) am a full-time pet carer, which means I’m home all day long. Whether it's playtime, snack time, or just a long nap on the sofa, I’m here to make sure your pet never feels lonely. My husband, Chamindu, is a Software Engineer who works from home. This is the perfect setup because even when I’m busy, he’s right there to step in for an extra belly rub or a quick game of fetch. When we’re both free, your pet gets double the attention—because we just love them that much! Our lifelong passion for animals: • The Rescue Life: I’ve been taking in and nursing stray cats and dogs since I was a little girl. Back at my family home in Sri Lanka, we once had a "full house" of 11 cats and 2 dogs—all of them rescued from the streets! • Extra TLC: I have plenty of experience with the "tricky" stuff, like bathing dogs and nursing newborn kittens (including some very special disabled fur balls). We’re patient, gentle, and used to providing a bit of extra care. • Always Caring: Even in our spare time, we love going around the neighbourhood to feed the local stray dogs. It’s just who we are! What we’re all about: Whether your pet is a high-energy explorer or a shy soul who just needs a quiet corner to snooze in, we’ll make them feel right at home. We’ll keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can see exactly how much fun they’re having. We can't wait to meet you and your four-legged family members!

I’m so pleased with the care Daisy gets from Dilki & Chamy whilst on her walks. She’s a senior rescue dog and my much loved “chaos hippo”. They’re patient and kind with her, taking the time to get to know her and her little quirks. Communication is great. I love getting so many photos of Daisy out on her walks. It’s lovely to see what she’s been up to and reassuring to know she’s in caring hands. Finding people you trust with your dog means a lot, especially with an older rescue. Would happily recommend!
Honestly couldn’t recommend Dilki and Chamy more, they’re absolutely incredible and took the best care of Moo!! Received so many updates and they’re so attentive 🥰
Dilki and Chamy were absolutely amazing dog sitters for our two boys Dexter and Herman. We were nervous as we’d never left them with sitters before but Dilki and Chamy went above and beyond to make sure that Dexter and Herman were settled and happy with them - they met them beforehand and it was clear that they have a genuine love and care of animals. Dilki and Chamy were actually looking after our boys on our wedding day and were so accommodating, even bringing them to the church so they could walk down the aisle as ring bearers! It truly made our day. We received lots of video and photo updates and it was clear that Dexter and Herman were in the safest and best hands. I would absolutely recommend Dilki and Chamy and I’m sure Dexter and Herman would love to be looked after by them in the future!
Looked after Hugo while we were on holiday, sent lots of photos and videos to let us know he was enjoying his stay. Would recommend!
Dilky and Chamy are so wonderful and took care of Milo so well. We left Milo with them for the first time, and it seemed like he was comfortable from the very start. Both of them know how to manage everything. And with lots of pictures and videos flowing in constantly, I was so much at ease during my trip. Milo enjoyed his time at their place and came back home a happy kid. I would highly recommend Dilky and Chamy to take care of your fur babies and would definitely book them in future.
Dilki and Chamy are super conscientious and clearly love animals! They took care of my parrot Taco while I was away for a few days. Because Taco is a more unusual animal with a big personality, I always worry but Dillon and Chamy did an amazing job! They took the time to get to know Taco and sent lots of updates. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them 100%.

Zeitplan
I (Dilki) love giving back to our Liverpool community. I spend a few hours a week volunteering at the NHS Liverpool Women’s Hospital and helping out the rescues at Woodlands Animal Sanctuary. My time at the sanctuary has been so rewarding; it’s given me hands-on experience with all sorts of personalities, so I’m particularly patient and gentle with nervous or shy dogs who just need a little extra time to feel safe. Because my volunteer hours are completely flexible, I can easily plan them around your pet's specific schedule! Plus, since my husband, Chamindu, is a Software Engineer who works from home, there is always a friendly face around. We’ve designed our lives so that your fur baby is never alone and always has someone ready for a midday play session or a quiet cuddle

We live in a spacious two-bedroom apartment that is perfectly set up for furry guests! Our building is located within a secure gated area, offering an extra layer of safety and peace of mind during arrivals and departures. While we are in an apartment, we are incredibly lucky to be surrounded by beautiful green spaces right on our doorstep. We are also just a short drive away from Sefton Park, which is our favorite spot for long, adventurous walks and playing fetch. Your pet will have plenty of room to stretch their legs outside, followed by a cozy, quiet place to relax with us at home.
Ein typischer Tag
If you have a cat, we are home all the time, so they'll have constant company, plenty of play sessions and cuddles! If you have a dog, we make outdoor exercise a priority with regular, supervised outings throughout the day. We’ll find where they like to be scratched and stroked, and we’ll give them little massages and try to make their time with us as pleasant and as fun as possible.
