About: I’m organised, calm and treat every animal with the same care I give my own. 🐾 Experience that sets me apart: • Experience caring for guinea pigs and domestic animals. I own two guinea pigs, so I’m confident with hay‑based diets, fleece bedding, health checks and keeping nervous pets calm. • Cat sitting experience. Looking after cats while owners were away, including feeding, litter tray care, playtime and daily updates. • Multi- pet confidence — Comfortable caring for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. 🌟 Skills that make me different from other sitters • Reliability — As a teacher, I’m used to responsibility, routine and being somewhere on time. • DBS‑checked — Gives owners peace of mind when trusting me with their home and pets. • Calm and gentle — Perfect for shy cats, nervous pets and small animals who need a quiet, steady presence. • Clear communication — I send photo updates every visit so owners feel reassured while they’re away. • Attention to detail — I follow routines exactly, check water levels, litter trays, bedding, and make sure everything is safe before leaving. 🏡 Why owners choose me • I treat every pet like my own • I respect your home and keep everything tidy • I’m trustworthy, organised and easy to communicate with • I’m confident with both cuddly pets and nervous ones • I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals I’m a teacher, so I have six weeks off in the summer holidays. That means plenty of time for regular visits, cuddles, feeding and keeping your pets happy while you’re away. I have a calm, pet‑friendly home with two caged guinea pigs, so I’m used to feeding schedules, daily cuddles and spot cleaning. My back garden is fully fenced if your pet stays with me, and I love keeping active, so dog walking is something I really enjoy. I’m very flexible and make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable and well looked after.

Matt came and looked after my 2 cats and tortoise while I was away over the weekend. He did a fab job of looking after them and I would highly recommend!! He took time to come and meet everyone and learn all of the animals routines which was reassuring to see. I got regular updates and photos which was a bonus.

About: My two most favourite things are walking and dogs, so being a dog walker is the perfect fit! I’ve always loved spending time with dogs — whether it’s long walks, playing fetch at the park, or giving them lots of attention and care. I have experience looking after friends’ and family members’ dogs of different breeds, ages and sizes, and I make sure every pup feels safe, happy, and comfortable. You can count on me to treat your dog like my own and to make every walk a fun little adventure. I’m currently working park time! So I’m available most days to take your dog on a lovely walk around the local area! I can also drive so I’m widely available in the Flintshire area. When I come to check on the dog I’ll discuss with the owner specifically what needs doing. Then we can decide a good routine from there 👍

About: 🐾 Who’s looking after your pet while you’re away? If your answer is: “someone who loves animals”… that’s lovely. If your answer is: “a veterinary surgeon”, that’s a whole different level of peace of mind. Hi, I’m Ana, a qualified veterinary surgeon offering professional pet sitting in your pet’s own home. Whether your companion is young, elderly, recovering from surgery, anxious, diabetic, epileptic, arthritic, on multiple medications, or simply needs someone experienced, they will receive knowledgeable, compassionate care, not guesswork. I can confidently: • Administer medications (including injections where needed) • Monitor ongoing medical conditions • Recognise subtle signs that something isn’t right • Respond quickly and appropriately if problems arise • Follow complex treatment plans precisely • Care for senior pets and those with special needs Of course, it’s not all medicine! Every pet also gets plenty of cuddles, enrichment, playtime, walks, and the individual attention they deserve. Their routine stays as normal as possible, helping them feel relaxed and secure while you’re away. Because pet sitting isn’t just about feeding and walking. It’s about knowing when everything is fine… and recognising immediately when it isn’t. Your pet deserves expert care. You deserve complete peace of mind I’m at home majority of time. Happy to play and interact full time with the pets in a safe an stimulant way. If left alone for short periods (example pick up groceries) there are interactive cameras inside and outside the premises, also crates will be used to prevent accidents while away. All the activities including: play time, napping, eating will happen in the conservatory and back yard or my bungalow. At least 2 walks a day. The backyard is fully fenced with wood panel of about 2m tall. Dogs who are unsociable/untrained/young/traumatized will require separate accommodation inside the house, away from the rest of the pets. This will incur in 50% safety fee on top of normal rates.

There are 581 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Flintshire. About 94% of Flintshire sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
