Steve was excellent. From the first meet and great, it was clear that he's really cares about animals, and he's head been gravitation. It so wonderful to know I was coming home to a calm, well fed, happy cat. Steve went above and beyond too, bringing in a parcel that arrived early and clearing up a knocked over plant. I have no hesitation in recommending him, and hyper that he will be available if I need to go away again. Thank you so much, Steve. 10/10 Hazel and Tigger

Seren was brilliant looking after our cat whilst we were away. Our rescue cat is timid around new people, but quickly felt very happy and affectionate with Seren. A big thank you to Seren.

Mark has recently looked after my 4 cats for the last 6 days. Mark came for a meet and greet when I initially booked which was some time before the actual visit, he also came again for a refresh the day before which I really appreciated. He was friendly and chatty and put me at ease and I knew the cats would be well cared for. I had updates everyday and lots of photo's. The house was clean and tidy and he was happy to go and search for the cats under the bed to make sure they were all ok. My 4 cats are rescue and not all of them good with strangers so this was very much appreciated. Thanks Mark!

About: I’ve grown up with a mixture of all kinds of animals, especially cats and dogs and they have a special place in my heart. I love spending every minute with them and making them happy. I currently have plenty time as I am only working part time. I have my own pets which I care for too but still have plenty of time to care for others! I am happy to go on plenty of walks, keep their living space clean, tidy and comfortable and make sure their food/water is always accessible and full. I enjoy playing and making your fur baby happy by doing their favourite activities.

About: I have had dogs for as long as I can remember and I currently have a greyhound called George. I have experience in caring for dogs with various needs, including those who take regular medication. I enjoy taking George out for adventurous walks and equally, cuddling up on the sofa. I have experience in dog training, including puppy training and with senior dogs. I work for the NHS and finish my shift in the afternoon, so I’m available from around 4:30 most days. Feel free to drop me a message and we can arrange a time that’s best for you. I have a fenced garden and a lovely greyhound to keep your dog company :) We allow our dog on furniture, so yours is more than welcome to get cosy too! My mum works from home so she will always be there to keep an eye out even if I have to pop out.

About: I have been a drugs detection handler for the last 4 years now and enjoy it immensely. I have 4 dogs myself and 2 cats. I’ve had 2 of my dogs for 8 years, 1 for 3 years and the other for 2 years. I have a collie, beagle, sprocker and springador. I have experience in dealing with aggressive dogs, nervous dogs and overly friendly dogs. I have training in canine first aid. I’ve had 2 of my dogs from puppies and the other 2 were rescues, one of which came with a lot of issues but thankfully over time with lots of training he is a completely different dog. I live not far from many gorgeous places to take dogs on long walks/hikes or even for a swim! Any questions please feel free to ask 🙂 I’m currently self employed so I don’t currently have a set week rota. But please feel free to message me and can let you know if I’m free. I will take care of your pets as though they were my own. Anything that’s needed I’m will do as they’re family and I know how much they mean to each person.

I usually work from home so can be at home all the time and have lots of free time to look after your pet. I can be flexible with days and times to suit too. I can provide dog walking, house sitting, overnight stays and drop in home visits for your dog or cat. Please message me to book! I usually work from home most days so have lots of time to look after your pet and take them for walks and look after them throughout the day! I am happy to house sit pets in your own home or visit for a home visit or a walk during the day and happy to be flexible with times etc. I am off for summer at the moment and usually work from home so will be with your pet at all times and have plenty of time to walk them throughout the day too! If house sitting at my own house, I have a house with a fenced garden so they can easily have access to a safe outdoor space and lots of love and care.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Wrexham on Rover is £11.5 per Visit (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 596 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Wrexham. About 92% of Wrexham sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
