About: Hello, I'm Jade, self-confessed animal enthusiast. I've been working in education until recently but am about to take the plunge into the wonderful world of pet-care. Proud Mum of three wonderful rescue dogs (Lab, Lurcher and Spointer), I'm well accustomed to dogs of different sizes with very different personalities. I've also been volunteering at a local dog shelter one day a week since the start of the year, gaining more hands-on experience. I'm dog first aid trained and hold a full DBS. I'm happy to offer any dog services. This is my job and my passion, so rest assured that your dogs will have my undivided attention! This is my full-time job. I have three dogs of my own, ranging from high energy Spointer to the most relaxed, elderly Lab. I love being outdoors and walking. I have a teenager who also really loves dogs, and who also volunteers once a week at the shelter. I live in a bungalow, if boarding with us, the dogs have full use of this, no stairs for those achey older dogs. We have a fully fenced in garden which the dogs have constant access to. We live in an area where walks are in abundance. We do one big walkie a day, and a later, shorter walk. Our dogs sleep wherever they want. I am fully flexible to also dog-sit in the owner's home if required.
“Chloe took care of our little sausage dog whilst we were on holiday. She responded quickly to our texts asking about him as it was the first time we had left him. She sent us a lovely video which was very reassuring to us. He was happy and relaxed when picking him up. Thank you Chloe. You were amazing.”

“Can't recommend Ariana enough. She looked after our elderly staffy and took great care to make sure he stayed in his normal routine and was settled and happy. Lots of pictures and updates on how he was getting on. 😊”

“As Midge had never been left with strangers before we were naturally worried but there was no need as Carla looked after her very well even introducing her to the cats Carla doesn't have a garden but regular walks were provided”

About: I have absolutely fallen for cats and their antics, especially since I’ve started pet sitting this year and my volunteer work over the last few. Typically most cats benefit from two visits a day, as they might have two dinners or need letting in, but some cats do only need the one which I can help advise on, and I’ll always stay extra if I have time. I like to do a meet and greet to make sure I know their routine and where cleaning supplies are, this can be as soon as a mutual date is available or closer to the pet sits date. And there’s different options for pricing depending what’s required. As I’m also open to caring for a cattery or sanctuary establishment.

“Mark has just looked after my cat Midna for a week . Midna is not the friendliest of cats but he made an effort to interact with her every day if she was about . He did more than I expected him to do such as wash up her dirty dish from the day before , take photos of her when he could and update me on a daily basis that he had been to look after her. Mark is already booked in to look after her again in 6 weeks time and I know I will be able to relax knowing that she will be well looked after. I would definitely recommend him .”

“Amazing - super friendly and trust worthy. Really nice guy - very quick responses and very flexible. Lloyd comes to visit coco every week while we are both in work - I don’t know what we would do without him☺️”

“It was lovely meeting Kim yesterday! My pup, Velma, was instantly at ease and had a lovely day in Kim’s care. Kim sent updates and photos during the day and Velma was full of kisses and waggles when we collected her. I’ll definitely be contacting Kim again, as I wouldn’t leave Velma with just anybody. Thanks again!”

“Chloe did an amazing job taking care of Snoop! He can be a little aloof and not bothered by people but she settled him and sent so many pictures throughout the day to reassure us he was ok :) it meant we could relax knowing he was having fun on the hottest day of the year and was safe. Her pup is beautiful and I think he wore out our antisocial Snoop but he loved it ! Thank you”

“First time using Tom and have to say he was fantastic. Very good on communications, confident and relaxed with the dog sitting, very easy to deal with and gave me peace of mind.”

About: Hi, I’m Heather, a dedicated and passionate animal lover with a lifelong dream of working with pets of all kinds. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love, and I bring that enthusiasm and commitment into every walk, visit, and stay. I’ve had dogs in my life from a very young age, so being around them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve also looked after family and friends’ dogs while they’ve been away for work or holidays, as well as caring for cats in the same way. This has given me valuable experience with different temperaments, routines, and care needs. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I have my own dog, Poppy, who has given me hands-on experience in daily care, exercise, and understanding a dog’s needs, personality, and routine. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from young puppies full of energy to older, senior dogs who need a gentler, more attentive approach. My goal is always to ensure your furry four-legged best friend is happy, safe, and well cared for at all times. I am reliable, responsible, and treat every pet as if they were my own. My young baby daughter will accompany me on the majority of walks, either in her pram or carrier. Because of this, I’m best suited to working with calm, friendly dogs who are comfortable around young children. Your dog’s safety—and my child’s—will always be my top priority. I offer a range of services including regular walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, all tailored to your pet’s individual needs. I’m more than happy to take your dog to off-lead areas for exercise and play (with your permission), and I also offer adventure day walks on selected dates, visiting places such as dog parks and scenic routes like Rossett Trail. You can expect clear communication, reliability, and regular updates while your pet is in my care, giving you complete peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d love to look after your pet. Caring for animals fits naturally into my daily life, as I’m currently on maternity leave with my baby daughter. This gives me the flexibility to plan my days around providing attentive, reliable care for your much-loved pets, while also maintaining a happy routine for my own dog, Poppy. Because of this, I’m able to offer a calm, structured, and consistent approach to pet care. Walks and visits are thoughtfully planned to ensure each pet gets the time, attention, and exercise they need, while still fitting smoothly into a balanced daily routine. Having my daughter with me also means I prioritise gentle, positive environments, making me especially well-suited to caring for calm, friendly dogs who enjoy relaxed, enjoyable walks and companionship. Creating a safe, happy experience for both the pets in my care and my daughter is always at the heart of what I do. I truly believe that every pet deserves individual attention, love, and patience. I take pride in giving my very best to each and every animal I look after, treating them as part of the family and ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for at all times. With me, you can feel confident that your pet will receive kind, dedicated care in a warm and nurturing environment. I offer petsitting in your own home for your pets, I unfortunately at the moment cannot offer sitting or boarding in my own home due to lack of space. However I often find pets prefer the familiar environment of their own homes.

“This is the second time I’ve asked Steve to help with walking our dog Nellie. My request help was very last minute and Steve replied quickly and stepped in on the 2 days I needed and gave Nellie a very long and enjoyable walk. She was so much more settled in the house both days that Steve walked her. Thank you Steve - hope to see you again soon.”

“Highly recommend! We were initially nervous to leave our rescue collie for the first time whilst going away but Emma was fantastic with her and took the time to get to know her so it was as relaxed an experience as possible. About: I have experience with a variety of species from looking after my own pets, family’s pets, pet sitting since the beginning of this year, 5 years of animal care at college up to an Animal Management degree, 2 years stable hand experience and 1 year at a small zoo with animals such as wolf dogs, lemurs, 10 foot reticulated pythons, meerkats and emu among others. I can provide further details and also have a small rescue page that documents some of the animals I’ve cared for, as my main goal is to have a flexible schedule that allows me to take in stray/unwanted pets and injured wildlife. And I would love to here from you, no matter the enquiry x I currently work part time Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 5pm, so have plenty of availability throughout the week, and if given 6 weeks advance notice I may be able to book work off. For safety reasons I prefer to have a double door system set up if possible in homes with flighty fur babies, and dogs will ideally stay on the lead unless they have good recall and we’re in a secure field. I have some experience riding, but only on a sound horse, so would only be willing to exercise horses with ground work or with test rides before your booking.

About: I have been a drugs detection handler for the last 4 years now and enjoy it immensely. I have 4 dogs myself and 2 cats. I’ve had 2 of my dogs for 8 years, 1 for 3 years and the other for 2 years. I have a collie, beagle, sprocker and springador. I have experience in dealing with aggressive dogs, nervous dogs and overly friendly dogs. I have training in canine first aid. I’ve had 2 of my dogs from puppies and the other 2 were rescues, one of which came with a lot of issues but thankfully over time with lots of training he is a completely different dog. I live not far from many gorgeous places to take dogs on long walks/hikes or even for a swim! Any questions please feel free to ask 🙂 I’m currently self employed so I don’t currently have a set week rota. But please feel free to message me and can let you know if I’m free. I will take care of your pets as though they were my own. Anything that’s needed I’m will do as they’re family and I know how much they mean to each person.
“Milian has been a fantastic dog walker. We were away for day while on holiday. We had a good discussion beforehand and she kept in contact throughout the day with lots of pictures. Molly can be quite nervous in different situations was obviously very happy anc relaxed with Milian who gave her really good walks and lots of play… and kisses. I would throughly recommend Milian and would definitely contact her again if we are in the area again. Thank you Milian ❤️”

About: I began working for a locally well-known, independent dog walking company in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA) when I was 17 years old. It was the best job and taught me so much about dogs, pet care, but also about who I was and who I wanted to become. I stayed with the company for 3 years before branching off on my own venture (“The Pooch Au Pair”). From 2015-2022 I was self employed as a dog walker and in-home pet caretaker/house sitter. During this time I also invested energy into developing my knowledge and practice of pet care, including pet first aid and dog behaviour & training workshops and courses. I balanced this venture alongside studying full time at University, where I achieved a 1:1 BSc (Hons) Psychology degree in 2021. After 4 years in full-time employment in Higher Education, I have decided to refocus on pursuing work aligned with the things I am most passionate about: dogs, helping people, and continuing to learn and apply new knowledge. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keeping their safety and well-being the top priority. I understand no two dogs are exactly alike - while there are patterns and traits unique to and consistent across types, breeds, and ages, every dog has their own story and “quirks”. I truly enjoy observing, interacting with, and getting to understand each dog as an individual. Transforming these experiences and lessons into specialised, bespoke care is a task I relish and take pride in achieving. I plan to continue pursuing further education on canine psychology, behaviour, training, and care with a goal of becoming a fully qualified canine behaviourist. I’m currently transitioning from a full-time office role to a part-time role, mostly working from home. I don’t currently have a set rota, but please feel free to message me and can let you know if I’m free. As it stands, I expect to be free anytime 2/5 weekdays (TBC) and weekends. I have a small secured garden and door-step access to a large green space with hills, meadows, forests and a nearby park with pond. This is where I typically walk my own dogs, but I also live near to Alyn Waters country park in Gwersyllt/Llay so we occasionally venture there for a change of scenery! I look after all pets as if they are my own, ensuring top-quality, bespoke care

“Daisy stayed with Joanne & Terry for the first time this week. From the moment we booked Joanne was on hand to help guide us through. Both Joanne & Terry were so lovely & welcomed Daisy into their home as one of their own. Daisy has quite a few different medications but this was not an issue, which really put our minds at ease. We got lots of photos & updates which we loved and we were able to enjoy our trip away knowing Daisy was settled and having a lovely time. We would highly recommend Joanne & Terry and will be booking again soon. Thank you both xx”

“Amazing communication throughout ! We booked with Samantha at short notice and she was very accommodating. At regular intervals throughout the day we received pictures and updates for our dog. I think our Otis enjoyed his stay that much he didn’t want to come home.”

“Can't recommend Ariana enough. She looked after our elderly staffy and took great care to make sure he stayed in his normal routine and was settled and happy. Lots of pictures and updates on how he was getting on. 😊”

“Cooper had a fantastic time with Artur and Wioleta! They took great care of him, and provided regular photos and updates of how he was doing. Cooper loved their big garden! We will definitely book in again!”

“As always a wonderful stay at Nick and Emma's. Libs loves her away days with Freddie and the other guests. Libs is an elderly lady and receives 100% tlc for her particular routines (breakfasting late😂). Thank you both.”

“Susan is the most caring dog sitter I have ever experienced. She looked after Arlo my golden retriever like he was her own. She kept me regularly updated and went the extra mile to make sure he felt so loved and at home with her. Arlo has never before looked so sad to leave a doggy sit. He’ll be missing her incredibly until our next booking. I cannot recommend Susan and Kim enough, they are just such incredible people, and so caring and loving towards Arlo. I am so grateful to them for giving Arlo such great care - a big big thank you and see you soon ❤️”

“I have just been away for the weekend and left my dog Luna with Rhian. From the first message Rhian was excellent at communicating and as it was the first time leaving my dog with her, she arranged a meet and greet. All went well and left me feeling comfortable leaving my dog with her. I received updates throughout the weekend with lots of pictures. It is clear that Rhian loves dogs and enjoys looking after them. I would highly recommend Rhian and will book again in the future. Thank you for looking after Luna as if she was your own x”

“This is the first time we have left our dog to go on holiday, so was obviously nervous, Andrew however put us at ease. We met up before booking. When we were away Andrew and his family kept us updated with pictures and videos, He was well loved and looked after there, Will definitely use him again if possible. Thank-you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We can't fault the care Wida showed our dog. We were worried as her dog Peanut was larger but he is very soft, playful and gentle. Our dog went on long walks with plenty of well taken photos which reassured us and they accommodated him into their home without any stress for anyone. He was very chilled when we got him back.”

“Pip had an amazing stay with Sinead and family. From start to finish, everything was perfect and I am not sure Pip wanted to come home. A very professional, warm and positive experience. Thank you!!”
