He did more than I expected him to do such as wash up her dirty dish from the day before , take photos of her when he could and update me on a daily basis that he had been to look after her. About: Hello, I'm Jade, self-confessed animal enthusiast. I've been working in education until recently but am about to take the plunge into the wonderful world of pet-care. Proud Mum of two wonderful rescue dogs (Lurcher and Spointer), I'm well accustomed to dogs of different sizes with very different personalities. I've also been volunteering at a local dog shelter one day a week since the start of the year, gaining more hands-on experience. I'm dog first aid trained and hold a full DBS. I'm happy to offer any dog services. This is my job and my passion, so rest assured that your dogs will have my undivided attention! This is my full-time job. I have two dogs of my own, ranging from high energy Spointer to a Lurcher who is starting to wind down. I love being outdoors and walking. I have a teenager who also really loves dogs, and who has undertaken animal volunteering projects at one of our local shelters. I live in a bungalow, if boarding with us, the dogs have full use of this, no stairs for those achey older dogs. We have a fully fenced in garden which the dogs have constant access to. We live in an area where walks are in abundance. We do one big walkie a day, and a later, shorter walk. Our dogs sleep wherever they want. I am fully flexible to also dog-sit in the owner's home if required.
About: I have experience with a variety of species from looking after my own pets, family’s pets, pet sitting since the beginning of this year, 5 years of animal care at college up to an Animal Management degree, 2 years stable hand experience and 1 year at a small zoo with animals such as wolf dogs, lemurs, 10 foot reticulated pythons, meerkats and emu among others. I can provide further details and also have a small rescue page that documents some of the animals I’ve cared for, as my main goal is to have a flexible schedule that allows me to take in stray/unwanted pets and injured wildlife. And I would love to here from you, no matter the enquiry x I currently work part time Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 5pm, so have plenty of availability throughout the week, and if given 6 weeks advance notice I may be able to book work off. For safety reasons I prefer to have a double door system set up if possible in homes with flighty fur babies, and dogs will ideally stay on the lead unless they have good recall and we’re in a secure field. I have some experience riding, but only on a sound horse, so would only be willing to exercise horses with ground work or with test rides before your booking.

I have grown up around horses, cats, dogs, fish, hamsters.. you name it I’ve been around them! I looked after my golden oldies until their final days and looked after my new dog every hour since he was a puppy. About: I have had dogs all my life since when i was a kid, with growing up around labradors, years ago I bred show quality health tested pugs and still have my older girls at home with me, my eldest is 19. I also have 4 red labradors and 27 pygmy goats. I'm very experienced around dogs of all ages and breeds and make they're care my number one priority. About: I began working for a locally well-known, independent dog walking company in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA) when I was 17 years old. It was the best job and taught me so much about dogs, pet care, but also about who I was and who I wanted to become. I stayed with the company for 3 years before branching off on my own venture (“The Pooch Au Pair”). From 2015-2022 I was self employed as a dog walker and in-home pet caretaker/house sitter. During this time I also invested energy into developing my knowledge and practice of pet care, including pet first aid and dog behaviour & training workshops and courses. I balanced this venture alongside studying full time at University, where I achieved a 1:1 BSc (Hons) Psychology degree in 2021. After 4 years in full-time employment in Higher Education, I have decided to refocus on pursuing work aligned with the things I am most passionate about: dogs, helping people, and continuing to learn and apply new knowledge. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keeping their safety and well-being the top priority. I understand no two dogs are exactly alike - while there are patterns and traits unique to and consistent across types, breeds, and ages, every dog has their own story and “quirks”. I truly enjoy observing, interacting with, and getting to understand each dog as an individual. Transforming these experiences and lessons into specialised, bespoke care is a task I relish and take pride in achieving. I plan to continue pursuing further education on canine psychology, behaviour, training, and care with a goal of becoming a fully qualified canine behaviourist. I’m currently transitioning from a full-time office role to a part-time role, mostly working from home. I don’t currently have a set rota, but please feel free to message me and can let you know if I’m free. As it stands, I expect to be free anytime 2/5 weekdays (TBC) and weekends. I have a small secured garden and door-step access to a large green space with hills, meadows, forests and a nearby park with pond. This is where I typically walk my own dogs, but I also live near to Alyn Waters country park in Gwersyllt/Llay so we occasionally venture there for a change of scenery! About: Me and my partner have always had dogs and whilst our busy schedules mean we can’t have our own right now, we absolutely love looking after them for other owners. With big open fields just down the road and a secure garden, you can rest assured your dog is in good hands and will have a wonderful time with us :) I am available to house sit/drop in or just pop over and walk your dog! I am currently available anytime from 6pm Monday - Friday and anytime at the weekend ! We have a very secure court yard and your dog will have the freedom of the whole house to roam. I’ve had 2 of my dogs for 8 years, 1 for 3 years and the other for 2 years. I have a collie, beagle, sprocker and springador. I have experience in dealing with aggressive dogs, nervous dogs and overly friendly dogs. I have training in canine first aid. I’ve had 2 of my dogs from puppies and the other 2 were rescues, one of which came with a lot of issues but thankfully over time with lots of training he is a completely different dog. “We were so anxious about leaving our 20month old lab, we hadn't left him with anyone that's not family before. He was due to go to a family members house but when their dog came on heat, we had to find a sitter last minute. Our dog is not neutered, and we found finding a sitter that could accommodate this to be tricky. Celine responded quickly, offered for us to take Rex our lab for a run around her garden and to make sure it was right for both her family and ours. She was fantastic and really put us at ease. The next morning we dropped Rex off, nothing was too much trouble, Celine met us at the car to help unload Rex's things and set up his crate, allowing us to get off to a wedding knowing he was in safe hands. Celine has a very good secure space for the dogs to run around in and a field at the back which is just perfect. We were updated with photos and videos throughout Rex's stay, he loves children, so spent alot of time cuddled up with Ceilines daughter on the sofa getting all the belly scratches! When we collected Rex, Celine said that he did cry at bedtime but was absolutely amazing about it and even moved his crate with her upstairs so he felt safe. She said it was fine, that he is still only a baby and it's all new to him. We are so grateful for this, as he hadn't done this before, but she went above and beyond to make him feel at home. I'm so pleased we found Ceilne, it's really taken the stress out of where the dog will go should we need a sitter, and we will definetly be using Celine again. It's actually not local not to us, but it was local to the wedding venue and at short notice, we went with Celine, and i'm so pleased we did. We would definetly make the longer trip to use in the future as Ceiline took all the stress away and he was one spoilt and happy dog! I've already provided family and friends with Celines details for them to use in the future. Thank you so much!”

“This is the second time we have left our dog with Emma and Nick. It was for nothing more than over a weekend, but since we left him in their care for over three weeks the previous time, we could completely relax with the knowledge that he was in the best hands. He recently had surgery on his leg also; they took that on board just as they had the first time, and made sure to care for him in the best way he needed. We were given updates and photos every day and his face was just blissed out the entire time. We’re convinced he’d run away to track them down and hideout there if he could 😅 He absolutely adores Nick and Emma, tail wagging like crazy as soon as we got close to the property, and seems to have bonded very well with their own beloved pooch, Freddie. Don’t think we’ll be using any other dog sitters again if we can help it and for as long as they are available. You won’t be disappointed and you’ll be so glad you booked with them. I've looked after a range of breeds and ages - from a puppy cockerspaniel through to a big and energetic Golden Doodle - and understand every dog is different.
