Highly recommend! We were initially nervous to leave our rescue collie for the first time whilst going away but Emma was fantastic with her and took the time to get to know her so it was as relaxed an experience as possible. Even with last minute changes and adding on another dog to the sit nothing was too much trouble and we wont hesitate to use Emma's services again, she is kind and very knowledgeable so we were able to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing our furbaby was in the best hands. Thankyou Emma!

About: I have experience with a variety of species from looking after my own pets, family’s pets, pet sitting since the beginning of this year, 5 years of animal care at college up to an Animal Management degree, 2 years stable hand experience and 1 year at a small zoo with animals such as wolf dogs, lemurs, 10 foot reticulated pythons, meerkats and emu among others. I can provide further details and also have a small rescue page that documents some of the animals I’ve cared for, as my main goal is to have a flexible schedule that allows me to take in stray/unwanted pets and injured wildlife. And I would love to here from you, no matter the enquiry x I currently work part time Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 5pm, so have plenty of availability throughout the week, and if given 6 weeks advance notice I may be able to book work off. For safety reasons I prefer to have a double door system set up if possible in homes with flighty fur babies, and dogs will ideally stay on the lead unless they have good recall and we’re in a secure field. I have some experience riding, but only on a sound horse, so would only be willing to exercise horses with ground work or with test rides before your booking.

About: Why choose me? I offer more than just dog walking and pet sitting — I provide a structured, enrichment-focused service designed around your pets wellbeing, confidence, and happiness. I specialise in: 🐾 Small group walks (max 4 dogs) for safety and attention 🐾 Solo walks for nervous, reactive, or high-energy dogs 🐾 Enrichment-led care — mental stimulation, not just exercise 🐾 Calm, structured introductions and well-matched groups 🐾 Reliable, consistent service you can depend on 🐾 over night pet sitting 🐾 extended day sitting 🐾 drop in visits 🐾 puppy sessions 🐾 basic training Every pet is treated as an individual. I take the time to understand their personality, routine, and needs to ensure they feel safe, fulfilled, and truly enjoy their time with me. I am fully insured, first aid trained, and proud to be a family-run business — meaning your pet will always receive genuine care, attention, and consistency. ✨ i’m not here to be the cheapest — i’m here to be the most trusted. My experience with dogs has been lifelong. Growing up around German Shepherds and Border Collies on our family farm, I developed a deep understanding of working breeds, their behaviours, and their need for structure and purpose. This was further influenced by a family background in professional dog handling, giving me valuable insight into discipline, consistency, and communication with dogs. Alongside this, I have also spent time volunteering in a dog shelter environment, working with a variety of breeds, temperaments, and behavioural needs. This experience has strengthened my ability to support nervous, reactive, and more sensitive dogs with patience and care. I specialise in working with a wide range of dogs, including those who may be nervous, reactive, or require a more tailored approach. Every dog is treated as an individual, with care designed around their personality, routine, and specific needs. If you’re looking for a professional, dependable service that puts your dog first, i’d love to hear from you. I’m now taking bookings for pet sitting / dog walking from May onwards! 🐾 I’m also available Tuesday through to Sunday, for dog walking. I offer reliable, caring, and professional pet sitting tailored to your dog’s routine. Whether you’re heading away for a weekend or need regular support, you can relax knowing your dog is in safe hands and treated like part of the family. Spaces are limited, so be sure to get in touch early to secure your dates! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always aim to maintain their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free in their familiar environment. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, medication (if required), and any specific care needs. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment through play and interaction, while also respecting their individual personalities and boundaries. I keep the home tidy, ensure fresh water is always available, and monitor the pet’s wellbeing throughout each visit. I’m also happy to provide regular updates, photos, and messages to give owners peace of mind while they’re away.

About: Hello, I'm Jade, self-confessed animal enthusiast. I've been working in education until recently but am about to take the plunge into the wonderful world of pet-care. Proud Mum of three wonderful rescue dogs (Lab, Lurcher and Spointer), I'm well accustomed to dogs of different sizes with very different personalities. I've also been volunteering at a local dog shelter one day a week since the start of the year, gaining more hands-on experience. I'm dog first aid trained and hold a full DBS. I'm happy to offer any dog services. This is my job and my passion, so rest assured that your dogs will have my undivided attention! This is my full-time job. I have three dogs of my own, ranging from high energy Spointer to the most relaxed, elderly Lab. I love being outdoors and walking. I have a teenager who also really loves dogs, and who also volunteers once a week at the shelter. I live in a bungalow, if boarding with us, the dogs have full use of this, no stairs for those achey older dogs. We have a fully fenced in garden which the dogs have constant access to. We live in an area where walks are in abundance. We do one big walkie a day, and a later, shorter walk. Our dogs sleep wherever they want. I am fully flexible to also dog-sit in the owner's home if required.

About: I have been a drugs detection handler for the last 4 years now and enjoy it immensely. I have 4 dogs myself and 2 cats. I’ve had 2 of my dogs for 8 years, 1 for 3 years and the other for 2 years. I have a collie, beagle, sprocker and springador. I have experience in dealing with aggressive dogs, nervous dogs and overly friendly dogs. I have training in canine first aid. I’ve had 2 of my dogs from puppies and the other 2 were rescues, one of which came with a lot of issues but thankfully over time with lots of training he is a completely different dog. I live not far from many gorgeous places to take dogs on long walks/hikes or even for a swim! Any questions please feel free to ask 🙂 I’m currently self employed so I don’t currently have a set week rota. But please feel free to message me and can let you know if I’m free. I will take care of your pets as though they were my own. Anything that’s needed I’m will do as they’re family and I know how much they mean to each person.

About: I began working for a locally well-known, independent dog walking company in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA) when I was 17 years old. It was the best job and taught me so much about dogs, pet care, but also about who I was and who I wanted to become. I stayed with the company for 3 years before branching off on my own venture (“The Pooch Au Pair”). From 2015-2022 I was self employed as a dog walker and in-home pet caretaker/house sitter. During this time I also invested energy into developing my knowledge and practice of pet care, including pet first aid and dog behaviour & training workshops and courses. I balanced this venture alongside studying full time at University, where I achieved a 1:1 BSc (Hons) Psychology degree in 2021. After 4 years in full-time employment in Higher Education, I have decided to refocus on pursuing work aligned with the things I am most passionate about: dogs, helping people, and continuing to learn and apply new knowledge. I treat every pet as if they were my own, keeping their safety and well-being the top priority. I understand no two dogs are exactly alike - while there are patterns and traits unique to and consistent across types, breeds, and ages, every dog has their own story and “quirks”. I truly enjoy observing, interacting with, and getting to understand each dog as an individual. Transforming these experiences and lessons into specialised, bespoke care is a task I relish and take pride in achieving. I plan to continue pursuing further education on canine psychology, behaviour, training, and care with a goal of becoming a fully qualified canine behaviourist. I’m currently transitioning from a full-time office role to a part-time role, mostly working from home. I don’t currently have a set rota, but please feel free to message me and can let you know if I’m free. As it stands, I expect to be free anytime 2/5 weekdays (TBC) and weekends. I have a small secured garden and door-step access to a large green space with hills, meadows, forests and a nearby park with pond. This is where I typically walk my own dogs, but I also live near to Alyn Waters country park in Gwersyllt/Llay so we occasionally venture there for a change of scenery! I look after all pets as if they are my own, ensuring top-quality, bespoke care

About: Hi, I’m Heather, a dedicated and passionate animal lover with a lifelong dream of working with pets of all kinds. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love, and I bring that enthusiasm and commitment into every walk, visit, and stay. I’ve had dogs in my life from a very young age, so being around them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve also looked after family and friends’ dogs while they’ve been away for work or holidays, as well as caring for cats in the same way. This has given me valuable experience with different temperaments, routines, and care needs. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I have my own dog, Poppy, who has given me hands-on experience in daily care, exercise, and understanding a dog’s needs, personality, and routine. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from young puppies full of energy to older, senior dogs who need a gentler, more attentive approach. My goal is always to ensure your furry four-legged best friend is happy, safe, and well cared for at all times. I am reliable, responsible, and treat every pet as if they were my own. My young baby daughter will accompany me on the majority of walks, either in her pram or carrier. Because of this, I’m best suited to working with calm, friendly dogs who are comfortable around young children. Your dog’s safety—and my child’s—will always be my top priority. I offer a range of services including regular walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, all tailored to your pet’s individual needs. I’m more than happy to take your dog to off-lead areas for exercise and play (with your permission), and I also offer adventure day walks on selected dates, visiting places such as dog parks and scenic routes like Rossett Trail. You can expect clear communication, reliability, and regular updates while your pet is in my care, giving you complete peace of mind. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and genuinely passionate about animals, I’d love to look after your pet. Caring for animals fits naturally into my daily life, as I’m currently on maternity leave with my baby daughter. This gives me the flexibility to plan my days around providing attentive, reliable care for your much-loved pets, while also maintaining a happy routine for my own dog, Poppy. Because of this, I’m able to offer a calm, structured, and consistent approach to pet care. Walks and visits are thoughtfully planned to ensure each pet gets the time, attention, and exercise they need, while still fitting smoothly into a balanced daily routine. Having my daughter with me also means I prioritise gentle, positive environments, making me especially well-suited to caring for calm, friendly dogs who enjoy relaxed, enjoyable walks and companionship. Creating a safe, happy experience for both the pets in my care and my daughter is always at the heart of what I do. I truly believe that every pet deserves individual attention, love, and patience. I take pride in giving my very best to each and every animal I look after, treating them as part of the family and ensuring they feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for at all times. With me, you can feel confident that your pet will receive kind, dedicated care in a warm and nurturing environment. I offer petsitting in your own home for your pets, I unfortunately at the moment cannot offer sitting or boarding in my own home due to lack of space. However I often find pets prefer the familiar environment of their own homes.
