I am a dog owner, dog walker and dog trainer ( SteveS K9 Training ) and I also care for our furry feline ( cats ) friends. I work full time self employed with animals and absolutely love my job. Cats and dogs are an especially important part of my families life. I consider the fur babies I regularly care for as an extension of my family. My dogs have always been very well trained and mainly spoilt by my children. I love the outdoors so wind, rain, snow or shine I am out. We have also owned several cats which we were extremely fond of and one of those, Button, lived harmoniously with our current spaniel Molly. I have previously worked in the banking and retail sectors for close to 30 years. However I am now available Monday to Sunday from 6am to 9pm. I am very flexible and understand that each pet has unique needs. From a child with a variety of pets I consider myself to be super animal friendly. I look after each animal and home as if it were my own. Molly is so precious to our family and understand this is the same for lots of other animal owners.

Sakura and we are very happy for Steven's pop-in services. He looked after Sakura well and also took care of our house plants. From the pics Steven sent to us, and our CCTV footages we could clearly see that Sakura was getting along well with Steven more and more. Many thanks for his hard work. We are sure Sakura will expect Steven to visit her again during Christmas time.

Steven did a fab job looking after Kiwi and sent us daily photos and updates on how Kiwi was doing. This was very reassuring while we were away! Everything was clean and tidy when we came back. Would recommend to any cat owner looking for that bit of assurance while on holiday!
Steve was brilliant with our cat Boo when we went on holiday recently. With her only being 1 and a half and us never going away since we’ve had her, I was very nervous about leaving her, but Steve was great. We got detailed updates on Boo every day, including pictures, which made us feel confident that Boo was safe and well looked after. We came home to a happy, well looked after cat! Thanks Steve!

Schedule
Pet care is a full time job for me so rest assured your pet will get all the attention and care that it needs. My partner works in the Maelor hospital in Wrexham and also loves animals. My children are both in high school and fairly self dependent but are very good with pet care.

My rear garden is fully gated and fenced with mainly brick walls so rest assured your pet will be very safe. My home is very functional and neat and tidy. I do only accept pets that are house trained

A typical day
A dog that has been exercised appropriately and stimulated mentally is a happy and content dog. I have extensive experience of looking after high energy dogs. My preferred walk in Wrexham is a 2 hour walk with my spaniel down Erdigg.
