As Albie is a rescue (and a Frenchie) we feel quite protective of our lil man, but we knew we'd have nothing to worry about leaving him with Michael. About: Hi! I’m a reliable and caring cat lover based in Padfield, originally from Leicester, and I’ve lived in the area for the past 11 years. I’m 42 years old and have spent many years looking after family pets, as well as long-term pet sitting jobs for two families who work away in London during the week. I currently have two beautiful cats of my own. Cheech is 19 years old (turning 20 in June!) and CJ is the baby of the family at 8 years old. CJ is very loud, full of personality, and has somehow learned to mimic the owl outside our window — so I’m definitely used to quirky cats with big characters! I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your cat is shy, affectionate, playful, elderly, or just likes things done a certain way, I’m patient, attentive, and happy to adapt to their routine. I work weekdays from 9–5, but I’m available before and after work, can often make brief lunchtime visits if needed, and I’m also available for overnight stays. I’m also happy to administer medication if required. I will regularly update you on your pets throughout my stay and will always send photos, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe, and being well looked after. I’ll always make sure your cats get plenty of attention, care, fuss (if they want it!), fresh food and water, clean litter trays, and lots of reassurance while you’re away. About: I cat-sit for both of my sisters when they go on holiday. These range from young adults to elderly cats requiring daily medication. My sister once brought home a pregnant stray cat and I helped nurse her, and was present when she gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens. I stayed with her for the first week, to help watch over the kittens whilst my sister went to work. I have also looking after various animals on a small holding whilst the owners went on holiday. Your dog will join us for two 1-hour walks a day with my own dog, plus lots of playtime in the house and garden with enrichment toys, puzzle feeders, and soft toys. I can accommodate a shorter or longer evening walk if that's more appropriate for your dog. About: I have looked after several friend and family members’ dogs and cats whilst they have gone away on holiday, either staying in their home or dropping in for visits. For the last 4 years I have volunteered at an animal assisted intervention organisation, which takes dogs and small animals to schools and hospitals for outreach visits. This involves assessing the animals body language, responding to their cues and ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable. I believe this would be a vital skill for looking after your pet. When I lived in Edinburgh, I worked with a charity that volunteers to walk people’s dogs who find it difficult to get out and keep their dog exercised. I love hiking, getting out in nature and seeing dogs enjoy the outdoors too. I volunteer on a Monday and Friday, for a full or half day depending on the week, however I have lunch free. Outreaches finish at 4 at the latest, so I would be available after this to feed, exercise or play with your pet, and stay overnight if needed. On other days, my commitments are small and take an hour or two out of my day at most. I am flexible - I can stay in your home full time, drop by for shorter periods, and/or stay overnight. Just detail what best suits you and I will endeavour to meet your pet’s needs.

About: I’ve taken care of my two chocolate labradors at my family home for years. They are family pets that are owned by my parents, but I have been the main person to deal with their hygiene, walks, and bedtime routines. I took care of them when working from home, and now I live with my partner we live in a building with no pet allowances. I want to help the community with pet sitting needs, and meet new dogs! I work full time, but on Fridays I work from home, and I have lots of free time on weekends that I would love to spend hanging out with dogs! I would only be able to pet sit at the owners home, but I am a quick learner and I feel that dogs will be safer to look after in an environment that they know and understand.
About: Dogs have been a big part of my life since my dad started rescuing dogs from a shelter nearby. I have dealt with all kinds of dogs big or small, shy or confident. I have other family members who are dog mad and I have always been around to help them out whether that’s feeding, walking or just a drop in visit for a 20 minute play! Growing up, me and my Nana's dog Charlie spent a lot of time together on the beach. He would actually only go in the sea if I went in first! I will take things at the pase your animal prefers and we will get to know each other and hopefully become close. I am happy to give your pet as much space or as much love as they want. As well as giving your animal some food and a lot of attention I'll change litter trays, give treats and brush your pets if they enjoy that. I can also give tablets where they can be put into their food, but I would need to discuss administer pills by hand. I'm happy to collect your post, water and check plants while you're away. If there are any other odd jobs in the house I can do to give you peace of mind, I'm happy to discuss this with you - just let me know! Also I can send updates and pictures too.

We arranged a meet and greet first which immediately put our minds at ease and allowed Pippin and Barney to meet and make sure they got on ok. It was warm weather when Pippin was staying over and Beth had already planned out the stay to ensure Pippin was comfortable; including early morning and late evening walks to avoid the hot weather and also prepping some frozen goodies for them! About: I have been brought up with dogs my first dog was patsy who was a mixed breed medium sized dog we then went in to have German shepherd’s! I have had my own dogs in clouding a boxer, a mixed bully and a patterdale terrier. I understand all dogs come with their own personalities and quicks and I can adapt to make them feel as comfortable and as at home as possible! I live right next to the country side so lots of walks are guaranteed to accommodate the dogs needs! Cuddles are a must and will be given freely! I would insist on a meet and great first to ensure not only you are comfortable leaving your precious dog with me to to make sure they also feel comfortable. I am currently at home during the days and evening. I usually offer a morning afternoon and evening walk to suit your pets requirements! More or less if needed! I am flexible around their needs! I live in a house with a dog friendly garden and have lots of.Country walks including places for swimming around my area . I allow your pet to feel as comfortable as possible!
