I was on the hunt for a new home boarder after an awful experience with someone I’d independently found (not on Rover) Julia had arranged a meet and greet first, their garden is absolutely beautiful, they have an agility course with jump bars, tunnels, ramps, a camp globe with doggy beds etc. it’s a 5* retreat for dogs! Both Julia and Tony are incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating, especially when I’ve changed dates/made cancellations You’re added into a WhatsApp group where you get multiple adorable updates throughout the day I already rebooked with them Prince came back happier than ever which put me at ease Highly recommend booking with Julia!”
“Chloe and Ant looked after Rusty for us today and they were absolutely incredible with him. Rusty is a foreign rescue who has only been in the country for 8 months, and hes not a big fan of being away from his Mum and Dad but of course that need arises sometimes! Chloe and Ant have been absolutely amazing and so incredibly patient with him. I was a bit nervous myself leaving him in the care of someone else, but I had no need to be. Ralph has had the time of his life for two weeks, we had so many great updates throughout his stay and carol was in regular contact telling us about his days and what he’s been up to and especially over bonfire night which we were worried about. About: I cat-sit for both of my sisters when they go on holiday. These range from young adults to elderly cats requiring daily medication. My sister once brought home a pregnant stray cat and I helped nurse her, and was present when she gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens. I stayed with her for the first week, to help watch over the kittens whilst my sister went to work. I have also looking after various animals on a small holding whilst the owners went on holiday. This included cats, reptiles, poultry, pigs and sheep.

I share my home with a friendly, playful 2-year-old Sproodle who loves having a companion to play and socialize with. For this reason, it's important that any dogs staying with us are sociable and good around other dogs. As I work from home, I'm around all day for plenty of attention, cuddles, and supervision. Your dog will join us for two 1-hour walks a day with my own dog, plus lots of playtime in the house and garden with enrichment toys, puzzle feeders, and soft toys. I can accommodate a shorter or longer evening walk if that's more appropriate for your dog. Having grown up with dogs my whole life, I really understand their individual needs and quirks and I tailor my care to suit each pup. I prefer to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure everyone gets along, but I appreciate this isn't always possible so I'm happy to discuss alternatives. If your dog would enjoy a cosy, loving home from home with plenty of play and companionship, I'd love to chat! I currently work from home full time and used to juggling the attention, affection and needs of a pub with my job. I'll get out for one 40 mins walk or 2 x 20 minimum throughout the day. About: I have been brought up with dogs my first dog was patsy who was a mixed breed medium sized dog we then went in to have German shepherd’s! I have had my own dogs in clouding a boxer, a mixed bully and a patterdale terrier. About: I have looked after several friend and family members’ dogs and cats whilst they have gone away on holiday, either staying in their home or dropping in for visits. For the last 4 years I have volunteered at an animal assisted intervention organisation, which takes dogs and small animals to schools and hospitals for outreach visits. This involves assessing the animals body language, responding to their cues and ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable. I believe this would be a vital skill for looking after your pet. When I lived in Edinburgh, I worked with a charity that volunteers to walk people’s dogs who find it difficult to get out and keep their dog exercised. I love hiking, getting out in nature and seeing dogs enjoy the outdoors too. I volunteer on a Monday and Friday, for a full or half day depending on the week, however I have lunch free. Outreaches finish at 4 at the latest, so I would be available after this to feed, exercise or play with your pet, and stay overnight if needed. On other days, my commitments are small and take an hour or two out of my day at most. I am flexible - I can stay in your home full time, drop by for shorter periods, and/or stay overnight. Just detail what best suits you and I will endeavour to meet your pet’s needs.

About: I have been brought up with dogs my first dog was patsy who was a mixed breed medium sized dog we then went in to have German shepherd’s! I have had my own dogs in clouding a boxer, a mixed bully and a patterdale terrier. I understand all dogs come with their own personalities and quicks and I can adapt to make them feel as comfortable and as at home as possible! I live right next to the country side so lots of walks are guaranteed to accommodate the dogs needs! Cuddles are a must and will be given freely! About: I have grown up with pets all my life. Family and friends would let me look after their pets if it was needed. I have earned my degree in wildlife conservation so I have a passion and love for all animals. In March 2026, i come back from travelling where i volunteered in different countries look after and caring for animals. I currently work part time on weekends but I finish no later than 4pm. So I am free most weekdays, at any time. I drive so distance is not a problem I have some experience in animal training. I have help trained family and friends pets from lead training to toilet training. As well as knowledge on animal welfare and over all care.
About: I’ve taken care of my two chocolate labradors at my family home for years. They are family pets that are owned by my parents, but I have been the main person to deal with their hygiene, walks, and bedtime routines. I took care of them when working from home, and now I live with my partner we live in a building with no pet allowances. I want to help the community with pet sitting needs, and meet new dogs! I work full time, but on Fridays I work from home, and I have lots of free time on weekends that I would love to spend hanging out with dogs! I would only be able to pet sit at the owners home, but I am a quick learner and I feel that dogs will be safer to look after in an environment that they know and understand.

“Chloe and Ant looked after Rusty for us today and they were absolutely incredible with him. Rusty is a foreign rescue who has only been in the country for 8 months, and hes not a big fan of being away from his Mum and Dad but of course that need arises sometimes! Chloe and Ant have been absolutely amazing and so incredibly patient with him. I was a bit nervous myself leaving him in the care of someone else, but I had no need to be. Chloe kept us updated with how he was getting on too which gave me peace of mind! Meet and greet was arranged and straight away I knew they were the people to look after my baby while I was away. When we discovered Rover and several dog sitters near us, we really liked Clare's profile and first tried a weekend for Milo to see how he would get on, and all went amazingly well.
