About: I have looked after several friend and family members’ dogs and cats whilst they have gone away on holiday, either staying in their home or dropping in for visits. For the last 4 years I have volunteered at an animal assisted intervention organisation, which takes dogs and small animals to schools and hospitals for outreach visits. This involves assessing the animals body language, responding to their cues and ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable. I believe this would be a vital skill for looking after your pet. When I lived in Edinburgh, I worked with a charity that volunteers to walk people’s dogs who find it difficult to get out and keep their dog exercised. I love hiking, getting out in nature and seeing dogs enjoy the outdoors too. I volunteer on a Monday and Friday, for a full or half day depending on the week, however I have lunch free. Outreaches finish at 4 at the latest, so I would be available after this to feed, exercise or play with your pet, and stay overnight if needed. On other days, my commitments are small and take an hour or two out of my day at most. I am flexible - I can stay in your home full time, drop by for shorter periods, and/or stay overnight. Just detail what best suits you and I will endeavour to meet your pet’s needs.

About: I’ve always been around dogs, as we’ve had them in the family since birth. We’ve always had Cocker Spaniels, so I am used to long walks with crazy doggies! We’ve recently got 2 puppies within the last year, so I also have experience in basic training. My girlfriend has also got two teacup Yorkies which I walk, so I have experience with feisty (barky) smaller breeds! I work part time shift work (06:00 - 14:00 Wednesday - Sunday) My routine doesn’t change making me available at the same times on a consistent basis, meeting your dog’s need for a consistent routine. When entering your home, I know not to approach straight away. I will make your dog feel at ease before any interaction (dogs usually protect their turf no matter how big or small). I will give them lots of love, cuddles and be a friendly face they can rely on. I am able to follow instructions easily, sticking to your dog’s usual routine, ensuring you’re getting everything you and your furry friend needs on my visit.

About: I've always wanted to do something like this. I have looked after my friends and family dogs and cat (s). I only have my personal experience. I'm. Very passionate what I do and will always treat your animals I look after has my own . I currently have a nearly 11 yo border collie keeps my on my toes despite hip dysplasia and arthritis. I have experience with him giving him his daily medication. I have my personal experience owning dogs since inwas 14 years old . So I know a lot about them . Just love animals from feeding to walking complying with them . I'll care for them has my own I currently don't work due to medical conditions. But doesnt stop playing and looking after your animals . which is why I've decided to take this challenge on for me has I absolutely love dog's. So I'm flexible for just about anything at the moment My gardens are fenced off My back all paved with some grass down one side it's 6 panels by 6 panels . So mine has plenty of space to play ball and run around Front is metal fenced off.

About: I have cared for dogs all my adult life, from puppies to senior dogs. I spend my free time hiking and walking in the Peak District and love to bring our family dog along. I have been entrusted to walk and look after many friends dogs. We are really enjoying meeting new furry friends through Rover. I am currently working a 9-5 and am free to care for pets all weekend. Though the week i can house sit in the local area and walk dogs twice a day whilst providing company and care at night. If local I can also provide toilet break and walks through the day. Over weekend I can spend all day and night with pets. Whilst house sitting, I will provide care and comfort for your pet. This will include sticking to their schedule of eating, toilet breaks and playing. I can allow pets into fenced gardens and also go on multiple walks a day.

About: Level 3 qualification in animal behaviour ✅ Throughout my life I’ve always had a family dog, from German Shepherds to the Labrador I have now. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve also always loved looking after and walking my friends and families dogs and have been doing so for years. One of my family members used to have a dog walking business and I used to help them regularly so I have a lot of experience in walking/looking after all types of dogs. I’ve lived in and around Glossop my whole life so know all the good walks your dogs will enjoy. I’m happy to cater for every pet from energetic puppies who need extra attention and positive reinforcement to older pets who need a slower pace and a little more care. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine and make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while they’re with me. I’ve always loved being outdoors and spending time in nature, and dog walking is one of my favourite ways to enjoy it. I love getting out for long walks, exploring new places and, of course, having a four-legged companion along for the adventure! I currently work full time 9-5 so will be available before or after work for walking your furry friends. I am also fully available on weekends so you can enjoy those well deserved weekend breaks without worrying about your pets. I keep things relaxed and follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddle, all in the comfort of their own home so there’s no need to invite them into an unfamiliar setting. I’m happy to follow any specific feeding, walking or care instructions so they feel at home.

About: I have been brought up with dogs my first dog was patsy who was a mixed breed medium sized dog we then went in to have German shepherd’s! I have had my own dogs in clouding a boxer, a mixed bully and a patterdale terrier. I understand all dogs come with their own personalities and quicks and I can adapt to make them feel as comfortable and as at home as possible! I live right next to the country side so lots of walks are guaranteed to accommodate the dogs needs! Cuddles are a must and will be given freely! I would insist on a meet and great first to ensure not only you are comfortable leaving your precious dog with me to to make sure they also feel comfortable. I am currently at home during the days and evening. I usually offer a morning afternoon and evening walk to suit your pets requirements! More or less if needed! I am flexible around their needs! I live in a house with a dog friendly garden and have lots of.Country walks including places for swimming around my area . I allow your pet to feel as comfortable as possible! If they want to join me on the furniture for a cuddle they are more than welcome! I have a box of dog toys they can enjoy and easy access to the garden with is safe and adapted to meet your dogs needs .

When I’m in your home, I’m respectful of your space and stick to your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable. I make sure doors are secure, double-check leashes and harnesses, and keep a close eye on pets during outdoor time.
