About: For the last 4 years I have volunteered at an animal assisted intervention organisation, which takes dogs and small animals to schools and hospitals for outreach visits. This involves assessing the animals body language, responding to their cues and ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable. I believe this would be a vital skill for looking after your pet. I have looked after several friend and family members’ dogs and cats whilst they have gone away on holiday, either staying in their home or dropping in for visits. When I lived in Edinburgh, I worked with a charity that volunteers to walk people’s dogs who find it difficult to get out and keep their dog exercised. I love hiking, getting out in nature and seeing dogs enjoy the outdoors too. I volunteer on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, for a full or half day depending on the week, however I have lunch free. Outreaches finish at 4 at the latest, so I would be available after this to feed, exercise or play with your pet, and stay overnight if needed. On other days, my commitments are smaller and would be able to stay in the house if that’s needed. I am flexible - I can stay in your home full time, drop by for shorter periods, and/or stay overnight. Just detail what best suits you and I will endeavour to meet your pet’s needs.

About: Animals and birds have been part of my life since day dot. From the day I was born, there have always been cats, dogs, birds, small animals etc, and this has continued into my adult life. There has never been a time when I haven't had animals and I would never want there to be. I'm just at ease and at my happiest when I'm with animals, they change your perception of life, they ground you when you've had a bad day, they're always there for all lifes ups and downs, without judgement, they are our life and it wouldn't be the same without them. I promise you, I will look after your precious fur family in the same way that you do. I will keep you updated with photos and all their little daily quirks. The plan is to build up the pet care business to a point where I can eventually close the food business .... and reclaim my home :-) I have 4 very beautiful cats varying in age from 3 to 15 years, all rescues. I also have a spoilt little Shih poo that's 5 years old that thinks she's one of the cats. They all have complete run of the house and two cats and Doodle even sleep with me on the bed every night. My fur family are my life ....and your fur family will be too. Life just isn't life without our four legged friends, is it.

About: I have cared for dogs all my adult life, from puppies to senior dogs. I spend my free time hiking and walking in the Peak District and love to bring our family dog along. I have been entrusted to walk and look after many friends dogs. We are really enjoying meeting new furry friends through Rover. I am currently working a 9-5 and am free to care for pets all weekend. Though the week i can house sit in the local area and walk dogs twice a day whilst providing company and care at night. If local I can also provide toilet break and walks through the day. Over weekend I can spend all day and night with pets. Whilst house sitting, I will provide care and comfort for your pet. This will include sticking to their schedule of eating, toilet breaks and playing. I can allow pets into fenced gardens and also go on multiple walks a day.

About: Level 3 qualification in animal behaviour ✅ Throughout my life I’ve always had a family dog, from German Shepherds to the Labrador I have now. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve also always loved looking after and walking my friends and families dogs and have been doing so for years. One of my family members used to have a dog walking business and I used to help them regularly so I have a lot of experience in walking/looking after all types of dogs. I’ve lived in and around Glossop my whole life so know all the good walks your dogs will enjoy. About: I would be the sole caregiver and would not leave your dog in the hands of other people. I’ve had my dogs my whole life and have been involved in the care and training for them. I currently have 5 dogs, including 2 rescue dogs and a puppy. I have looked after other peoples dogs and have stayed overnight with them. I have also walked other peoples dogs and have been trusted to care for them. I can do drop ins for dogs of any age to let them out, play with them, feed them etc. I can walk your dog or dogs and ensure they have a sufficient amount of exercise whilst still putting their best interests first. I’m currently working full time as an apprentice. I have flexible hours so am able to start earlier and finish early if needed. I love dogs and am hoping to be able to spend more time with them. I can go along with anything that your dog needs at their own house and would offer to come and meet them before staying to ensure I am the right person for the job

About: I have been brought up with dogs my first dog was patsy who was a mixed breed medium sized dog we then went in to have German shepherd’s! I have had my own dogs in clouding a boxer, a mixed bully and a patterdale terrier. I understand all dogs come with their own personalities and quicks and I can adapt to make them feel as comfortable and as at home as possible! I live right next to the country side so lots of walks are guaranteed to accommodate the dogs needs! Cuddles are a must and will be given freely! I would insist on a meet and great first to ensure not only you are comfortable leaving your precious dog with me to to make sure they also feel comfortable. I am currently at home during the days and evening. I usually offer a morning afternoon and evening walk to suit your pets requirements! More or less if needed! I am flexible around their needs! I live in a house with a dog friendly garden and have lots of.Country walks including places for swimming around my area . I allow your pet to feel as comfortable as possible! If they want to join me on the furniture for a cuddle they are more than welcome! I have a box of dog toys they can enjoy and easy access to the garden with is safe and adapted to meet your dogs needs .

About: I’ve always been around dogs, as we’ve had them in the family since birth. We’ve always had Cocker Spaniels, so I am used to long walks with crazy doggies! We’ve recently got 2 puppies within the last year, so I also have experience in basic training. My girlfriend has also got two teacup Yorkies which I walk, so I have experience with feisty (barky) smaller breeds! I work part time shift work (06:00 - 14:00 Wednesday - Sunday) My routine doesn’t change making me available at the same times on a consistent basis, meeting your dog’s need for a consistent routine. When entering your home, I know not to approach straight away. I will make your dog feel at ease before any interaction (dogs usually protect their turf no matter how big or small). I will give them lots of love, cuddles and be a friendly face they can rely on. I am able to follow instructions easily, sticking to your dog’s usual routine, ensuring you’re getting everything you and your furry friend needs on my visit.
