About: I have looked after several friend and family members’ dogs and cats whilst they have gone away on holiday, either staying in their home or dropping in for visits. For the last 4 years I have volunteered at an animal assisted intervention organisation, which takes dogs and small animals to schools and hospitals for outreach visits. This involves assessing the animals body language, responding to their cues and ensuring they are relaxed and comfortable. I believe this would be a vital skill for looking after your pet. When I lived in Edinburgh, I worked with a charity that volunteers to walk people’s dogs who find it difficult to get out and keep their dog exercised. I love hiking, getting out in nature and seeing dogs enjoy the outdoors too. I volunteer on a Monday and Friday, for a full or half day depending on the week, however I have lunch free. Outreaches finish at 4 at the latest, so I would be available after this to feed, exercise or play with your pet, and stay overnight if needed. On other days, my commitments are small and take an hour or two out of my day at most. I am flexible - I can stay in your home full time, drop by for shorter periods, and/or stay overnight. Just detail what best suits you and I will endeavour to meet your pet’s needs.

About: I've always wanted to do something like this. I have looked after my friends and family dogs and cat (s). I only have my personal experience. I'm. Very passionate what I do and will always treat your animals I look after has my own . I currently have a nearly 11 yo border collie keeps my on my toes despite hip dysplasia and arthritis. I have experience with him giving him his daily medication. I have my personal experience owning dogs since inwas 14 years old . So I know a lot about them . Just love animals from feeding to walking complying with them . I'll care for them has my own I currently don't work due to medical conditions. But doesnt stop playing and looking after your animals . which is why I've decided to take this challenge on for me has I absolutely love dog's. So I'm flexible for just about anything at the moment My gardens are fenced off My back all paved with some grass down one side it's 6 panels by 6 panels . So mine has plenty of space to play ball and run around Front is metal fenced off.

About: Level 3 qualification in animal behaviour ✅ Throughout my life I’ve always had a family dog, from German Shepherds to the Labrador I have now. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve also always loved looking after and walking my friends and families dogs and have been doing so for years. One of my family members used to have a dog walking business and I used to help them regularly so I have a lot of experience in walking/looking after all types of dogs. I’ve lived in and around Glossop my whole life so know all the good walks your dogs will enjoy. About: I’ve always been around dogs, as we’ve had them in the family since birth. We’ve always had Cocker Spaniels, so I am used to long walks with crazy doggies! We’ve recently got 2 puppies within the last year, so I also have experience in basic training. My girlfriend has also got two teacup Yorkies which I walk, so I have experience with feisty (barky) smaller breeds! I work part time shift work (06:00 - 14:00 Wednesday - Sunday) My routine doesn’t change making me available at the same times on a consistent basis, meeting your dog’s need for a consistent routine. When entering your home, I know not to approach straight away. I will make your dog feel at ease before any interaction (dogs usually protect their turf no matter how big or small). I will give them lots of love, cuddles and be a friendly face they can rely on. I am able to follow instructions easily, sticking to your dog’s usual routine, ensuring you’re getting everything you and your furry friend needs on my visit.

About: Working 9–5 in Glossop, but available mornings, evenings, and nights, with daytime availability during my breaks for visits, feeds, check-ins, and cuddles. Happy to accommodate any special requirements, including medication and personalised care routines. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay in a familiar, stress-free environment with their usual routine, smells, and comforts. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, litter tray cleaning, medication, and any specific quirks or preferences their cat may have. I take time to build trust with each cat at their own pace, whether they’re confident and social or more shy and reserved. I never force interaction — I let the cat decide the level of attention they want, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed throughout my visit. I keep your home secure by being respectful, tidy, and mindful at all times, ensuring doors and windows are properly checked before I leave. I treat every home as if it were my own and every pet as if they were my own cats. You’ll also receive regular updates, including messages and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I have been brought up with dogs my first dog was patsy who was a mixed breed medium sized dog we then went in to have German shepherd’s! I have had my own dogs in clouding a boxer, a mixed bully and a patterdale terrier. I understand all dogs come with their own personalities and quicks and I can adapt to make them feel as comfortable and as at home as possible! I live right next to the country side so lots of walks are guaranteed to accommodate the dogs needs! Cuddles are a must and will be given freely! I would insist on a meet and great first to ensure not only you are comfortable leaving your precious dog with me to to make sure they also feel comfortable. I am currently at home during the days and evening. I usually offer a morning afternoon and evening walk to suit your pets requirements! More or less if needed! I am flexible around their needs! I live in a house with a dog friendly garden and have lots of.Country walks including places for swimming around my area . I allow your pet to feel as comfortable as possible! If they want to join me on the furniture for a cuddle they are more than welcome! I have a box of dog toys they can enjoy and easy access to the garden with is safe and adapted to meet your dogs needs .

About: I have always owned animals since being a child, some of these being hamsters, rabbits and cocker spaniels. Aswell as owning pets I have also worked within the animal sector for the last 20 years. I have experience of looking after dogs whilst their owners are away, to working within a dog rescue centre. I have cared for dogs of all ages, from hand rearing puppies to looking after senior dogs on palliative care. I am confident with administering medication and have experience of dogs with specific training needs. I am available to board, walk, or just pop in to give your dog some company, I can be flexible to suit their individual needs. About: Hi! I’m a friendly person who loves sports, the outdoors and animals. Spending time with cats and dogs comes naturally to me, and I truly enjoy caring for them and making sure they feel happy and safe. Happy to play with then and have long dog walks. Happy to visit early morning or evening during the week and any time during the weekends. Really flexible person as usual, I work from home. About: I have cared for dogs all my adult life, from puppies to senior dogs. I spend my free time hiking and walking in the Peak District and love to bring our family dog along. I have been entrusted to walk and look after many friends dogs. I am currently working a 9-5 and am free to care for pets all weekend. Though the week i can house sit in the local area and walk dogs twice a day whilst providing company and care at night. If local I can also provide toilet break and walks through the day. Over weekend I can spend all day and night with pets. Whilst house sitting, I will provide care and comfort for your pet. This will include sticking to their schedule of eating, toilet breaks and playing. I can allow pets into fenced gardens and also go on multiple walks a day.

About: I've grown up with dogs ever since I was a baby. I currently have a 3 month old pup and two family dog who live with my mum (one of which is a lockdown pup) & they are my world. Walks, cuddles and play time are my favourite. I'm that person who will pay more attention to the dog walking past then the person. I have a working from home role so I am able to come and go as I please or schedule in walks when needed. This also means I can move my working space to somewhere suitable. My own pup gets a few walks throughout the day and lots of cuddles, so I will always work around to make sure they don't loose out also. I moved to manchester (glossop) from southampton in may 2023. Unfortunately luna and darcey are family dogs (luna is my weimaraner in my profile photo) so they have remained at home with my parents and siblings. However.....we have recently got our own fur baby, hunter who is the weimaraner pup in my photos. He is so wonderfully behaved with the sweetest nature. He is great. I still have so much free time on my hands and wanted to extend this to pub sitting, walking and cuddles. About: Hi! I’m an animal lover who’s been around pets my whole life. I grew up on farms and spent time helping at car rescues, so caring for animals big and small is second nature to me. At home, I have Baxter—my 3-year-old spaniel and the love of my life. He’s goofy, affectionate, and keeps me laughing every day. I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone new. That’s why I treat every pet like my own—with patience, love, and plenty of playtime (or snuggles, if that’s more their style). I’d love to meet your pet and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away! Having now got married we have much much more time for dog sitting again now. I work a hybrid based working model, which means I attend the office twice a week which I can be flexible on. Every animal is so different! I think the most important part of pet care is really trying to understand how they like to be cared for. My home offers space me to make sure the doggos would have somewhere to relax along with a huuuuuge courtyard where we can run. I live close to Salford quays, and own a car and am more than happy to take doggos on longer walks - as we have a cocker spaniel we regularly take our dog on longer walks such as elderly edge, Dovestones, and other similar walks l.
