About: Hi, I’m Keri! 👋 I am a lifelong animal lover who grew up in a busy, pet-filled household in South Africa, and I've been living here in the UK for the last few years. From massive, lovable Rottweilers and energetic German Shepherds to gentle Maltese Poodles, Labradors, and rescue cats, I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. My background includes caring for a wide range of dog breeds and cats, many of which were rescues, and each with unique personalities and needs. This experience has given me the ability to quickly adapt and provide tailored care for any pet. I know how tough it can be to leave your furry family members behind, so my absolute priority is to provide a safe, comfortable, and affectionate environment where they can thrive until you get back. I currently work in a hybrid setting. This means that I have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your pets home to keep them company during the day. Alternatively, I'm available to sleep in Thursday to Monday or do evening check-ins during the week. For me, exceptional pet care comes down to consistency, safety, and open communication. Every pet has a unique personality and history, especially rescues, and I easily adapt my approach to make them feel comfortable and happy. * **Secure Environment:** I have a fully secured garden with a 6-foot fence, offering a safe space for dogs to enjoy time outside. * **Respecting Routines:** I strictly mirror your pet's existing feeding, exercise, and sleep schedules to minimize separation anxiety. * **Safety & Security:** I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensure all gates and doors are secured, and keep dogs strictly on-leash during walks unless in a designated enclosed area. * **Peace of Mind:** I provide regular photo updates so you always know how they are doing. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a calm, structured environment filled with lots of love and cuddles, giving you total peace of mind while you are away.
“Sarah is such a lovely lady. She looked after our cat Snowy while we were on holiday. She came at regular times, sorted out her feeds and spent time with her playing, she gave me updates and pictures every day which is very reassuring, and nice to know that she’s being looked after. I’ll definitely use Sarah again for our next trip x”

About: I have had cats from a very early age I've recently had a dog for 3 years and helped to train him from being a pup he was a cockapoo and very much loved unfortunately due to splitting up from my partner I no longer have him. I love all pets as my own and they are definitely made to be part of the family. I have a 16 Yr old boy who to loves animals. I love walking we have lovely parks close by. My son will not be walking or looking after just me. I work from home whilst my son is at school so always with the animals when needed I have breaks for walks and plenty cuddles. I have a backyard fenced off so door is open when needed to go out, I have no pets of my own so one to one attention always.
“Amy was great when sitting our cat Ally. She gave regular updates after her daily visits including photos and videos. Ally was clearly very comfortable around Amy and we'd happily use her again in the future.”

About: In our home, dogs are the babies of the family! They are always cared for every need they may have, whether it’s a nice long walk or cuddles on the sofa. Myself and partner Rick, welcome any breed of any size and age. We have previous experience with our late pet Akita, Winnie. We rescued Winnie in her older years, going from big long walkies and zoomies, to her slower pace of life. With this we have experience with a strong dog on lead, and any health issue your pet may have/ need a little help with (Winnie was incontinent in later life). We are happy to cater to any need/ guidance you have for your pooch, they will be welcomed with open arms and lots of dog treats! Currently work Monday to Friday full time. We can cater for weekend dog sitting, walks, drop ins, and any other need. We are happy to take dogs on long walks or even to dog play fields. If dog sitting for your pet we would allow them to explore the home so that they are comfortable in their new surroundings. We allow them to roam freely all around the house when we are home, or if we nipped to the shop they would have free rein of the large spacious kitchen/ diner that would have access to food/ water/ bed/ toys. All pets are allowed on the sofas/ bed as they are part of the family! For anything like walks or drop ins to your home we would treat your home with great respect and care, making sure your pooch has enough food/ water and any other comforts it may need.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since my university days, looking after a Great British Bulldog, a Coton de Tuléar, and several Welsh Collies. These very different breeds taught me how to handle strong, stubborn personalities, gentle companion dogs, and intelligent working breeds with high energy. I’m confident with a wide range of temperaments and always adapt my approach to what each dog needs to feel safe, calm, and happy. I currently have full availability and can be flexible around your pet’s routine. Whether you need early‑morning walks, daytime drop‑ins, or evening care, I’m able to fit around your schedule. I’m also available at short notice and happy to discuss regular bookings or one‑off visits depending on what works best for you and your pet. I focus on keeping their routine exactly as you’ve set it. I follow feeding times, walk schedules, and any training you’re working on, and I make sure your pet feels calm and secure in their familiar environment.
“I can’t recommend Ros enough, so so glad we decided to go with her to look after Rudy. She really effectively communicates and made sure she was well aware of what Rudy needed from his visit. She updated us throughout the day and Rudy looked so happy spending time with her ☺️”

“Peter was friendly, professional and really goes the extra mile for the pups he cares for. We are really grateful that our puppy Stephen got to spend some time with him today (especially as it was last minute) and would absolutely recommend. The care and attention Peter puts into his bookings is so lovely. Thank you Peter!!!”

About: I've been an animal person since I was really young but never had a dog or cat over because mum is allergic. My husband and I adopted a rescue dog the year we were married and it was the best thing we ever did. Since then, we've opened our homes and hearts to several rescues, fosters, and furry boarders! Rest assured, your fur baby will be pampered spoilt at ours! I work part-time and spend a few days of the week working from home, and my husband travels on work once or twice a week, so we are available to board most days of the week. Additionally I am VTQ certified in Advanced Pet first aid, so your pet is in safe hands, should it ever be needed. Our home is a large enough space for your fur baby to run around free. We also have a 6 and a half year old rescue indie-spitz who would love to make new play mates!
About: We got our first family dog when I was about 8 years old. When I was about 14 we adopted Mickey, aged 2 - the family dog who sadly passed last year, aged 19. Since then my family had Pablo, an energetic Sprocker Spaniel. And my partner and I have had our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Copper, for 6 years from being a puppy. I regularly care for Pablo when my parents are on holiday, and have looked after friends dogs in the past. I'm working from home typically 2 days a week. On the days I'm in work, my dog will be looked after by friends or parents. My daily routine when working from home consists of a 45 minute walk first thing in the morning to the local park - usually 7.30/8am - and if the dog is up for it, the same in the late afternoon. I have a small secure garden which is padlocked at the back. I don't leave my dog unsupervised outside and just let him out for the toilet. I work upstairs in the spare room - so I just put the dogs bed next to my desk where he likes to sit. He will go down and get water when he needs it.
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since we got our sassy queen, Missy (cat) when I was 10 and gorgeous boy Sam (Collie cross) when I was 11. I work full time in MCR, but 2 days are working from home so always out and about for walks around the Davenport area. Typically free on the weekends too, so can take them for bigger walks Happy to pop round or care for your pet at my house. We have a garden with a small lawn so plenty of space for them.
“Lauren dropped in on our puppy to give him a walk and some playtime and he clearly had a great time! Well looked after as ever, with great updates and a summary for us so that was really appreciated. Thanks Lauren!”

Elsa was brilliant - she looked after our 4 cats (2 slightly older boys and 2 kittens!) really well and gave us really clear updates upon each visit. She let us know how well they were feeding, left everything really tidy upon our return and showed expert communication. Thank you so much Elsa!

Ellie Mae looked after my two cats whilst I was away for a few days. Ellie Mae is very professional, calm, efficient and friendly. She communicated with me daily, sending updates and photographs. My cats were very well looked after. I would definitely book her again and I would highly recommend her with no hesitation.

Clare is the most amazing cat sitter. She’s looked after our elderly cat several times now and does so with much love and care. We know our cat is in safe hands and we always come home to a calm and happy pet. And Clare’s photo and video updates are wonderful - you get proper portraits in addition to top cat sitting 😊
Aisling was brilliant at looking after our two cats. We came home to two very happy girls! Aisling was great at keeping us up to date, and was especially sensitive to the needs of our quite anxious cat. She even had to deal with some sick, which went over and above! Huge thanks x

Natalie provided excellent care for our two cats while we were away. She was cool under pressure; when one of the girls refused to come back in, she waited patiently for me to reply with the secret to ensuring compliance (meaty sticks). Then when the latch on our front door broke, she was able to figure out a solution and kept us informed of what was going on. On top of all this, she petted, played and cleaned up after the girls, kept my potted plants alive and was generally lovely to interact with.

Rita was absolutely amazing with Tinkerbell. She sent lots of photos and videos and let me know at each visit if Tinker had eaten or not. Tinker is 17 and Rita looked after her during the heatwave, she opened door and windows whilst at the house to get fresh air in to make it more comfortable for Tinker. She truly was amazing and I will 100% ask her to look after Tinker again.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
