“My dog went to caitlin for 2 nights earlier this week, after an initial meet and greet a few days before. She asked lots of questions to get as much information about cody before his stay, to get to know his routines, and to make it more comfortable for him. She provided updates with photos of him on walks etc and just chilling, reassuring me that he felt comfortable in their home and in their company. Would let him stay again.”

“Sarah took very good care of Winnie, she stayed overnight and seemed very happy & relaxed when I collected her the following day. Sarah sent me photos & updates during the stay, I would definitely use Sarah again in the future.”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful with Lady, our 11-year-old dog, during her 10-day stay. Because Lady is an older girl, we naturally worry a bit more when we're away, but Samantha completely set our minds at ease with regular 'pupdates' and photos. Lady seemed to really enjoy her stay and came home happy and relaxed. We couldn't have asked for better care and would highly recommend Samantha to anyone!”

“Max has had another amazing stay with Michael. Couldn’t ask for more! Great at keeping me updated with plenty of photos and messages and can tell Max loves his holidays as much as us! Thanks again!”

“Zaria looked after our dog Wilf for a few days whilst we were on holiday and she was amazing! We had a bit of a scare with Wilf becoming a bit unwell. Zaria called the vet for a second opinion and Wilf was fine but we really appreciated the caution and care she took. Lots of picture and video updates so we knew he was enjoying his time. Would definitely rebook in future! Thanks Zaria! Reece & Phil”

“Max absolutely loved his few days with Jenni, Biscuit & family! Came home one very happy and relaxed boy. He got lots of attention, walks and we had great picture updates whilst we were away. Thankyou!☺️”

“Bagel had the best time with Chloe, Bianca and Otis! We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they gave her throughout the weekend. It was reassuring to receive regular updates and photos - we felt so relaxed knowing she was in safe hands. Thank you again for taking such good care of Bagel. We’d love to book with you again soon ❤️🐶”

“Ashely was absolutely amazing in looking after our dog, Rory. We felt so relieved to know our baby was in safe hands whilst we were away. We received lots of updates and pictures of Rory which we throughly enjoyed. Thank you so much for taking care of Rory. We really appreciate it x”

“Rhubarb had the best time with Emilia & Mavis. We got loads of photos and Emilia was amazing at giving us updates. Highly recommend her for any dog owners, she’s an absolute gem 💎💖”

“I can’t thank Palash enough for stepping in last minute and taking such great care of Ronnie. Anyone who knows me knows Ronnie isn’t just a pet, he’s my whole world, so leaving him with someone new isn’t something I take lightly. From the start, Palash was incredibly thorough, asking plenty of questions about Ronnie’s behaviour, daily routine, food, and toilet breaks. It really showed he genuinely cared about making sure Ronnie felt comfortable and settled. He also kept me regularly updated, which gave me real peace of mind knowing Ronnie was happy and safe throughout. Hearing that Ronnie was a delight meant everything to me. As long as Ronnie is happy, I’m happy. I’d definitely use Palash again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive.”

“Sara was easy to contact and sent regular updates. Bandit was very happy with his new pack of dogs too - I think he will miss them - thanks for looking after him and giving him belly rubs!”

About: I have grown up around dogs and understand the love, attention and consistency they need. Although I currently have no pets of my own, this is ideal for dogs staying with me as they will receive my full attention and won’t need to share space with other animals. I grew up with an Irish Doodle (a cross between an Irish Red Setter and a Poodle) and have also spent a lot of time around Vizslas, giving me experience with active, intelligent and affectionate breeds. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, ages and personalities, and will ensure every dog feels safe, happy and well cared for while in my home. I have a flexible schedule and am able to work from home when required, allowing me to provide plenty of attention, companionship and supervision throughout the day. I can adapt my routine to meet your pet’s needs, whether that means regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules or simply keeping them company. I am available on both weekdays and weekends and will ensure your pet receives the care, attention and affection they deserve while staying with me. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I live in a clean, pet-friendly home with a secure fenced garden, providing a safe outdoor space for exercise and play. As I currently have no pets of my own, visiting pets can enjoy a calm environment and receive plenty of one-to-one attention. I will follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding, exercise and any special requirements, to help them feel comfortable, secure and at home throughout their stay.

“Angie was simply amazing during my spaniel's stay with her for over a week. She was incredibly thoughtful and thorough in finding out as much as possible about your dog and their habits to help them feel totally at home. Her enthusiasm and care really showed as Dexter returned from his stay with Angie relaxed, happy and calm and he'd obviously had a great time. I got loads of lovely updates and pictures throughout his stay which really put my mind at ease to know he was having so much fun. I highly recommend Angie for pet-sitting and hope she has space the next time we need to go away and can't take him with us!”

“I cannot thank Chrissie and her lovely family enough for taking such good care of our dog, Dexter. I was kept regularly informed with photos and videos of what they were getting up to and it helped to see him looking so settled and happy. He was so well looked after and I would absolutely send him again. Thank you so much Chrissie, family and pooches for making him so welcome xx”

“Nicola and her family were fantastic with Rosie! She seemed very happy being dropped off and we got regular updates. She has recently developed a lot of anxiety since losing our other dog resulting in nighttime issues, despite this Nicola dealt with it superbly”

“This is the first time Digby stayed with Becky (and H), and it certainly won't be the last. He had a brilliant time and loved being with them, he certainly made himself home from home. I'd definitely recommend Becky (although shouldn't say that as she'll get too booked up - lol). Thank you so much for loving our Digs as if be were your own. Digs will certainly be visiting you again. Xx”

“Sarah is such a lovely lady. She looked after our cat Snowy while we were on holiday. She came at regular times, sorted out her feeds and spent time with her playing, she gave me updates and pictures every day which is very reassuring, and nice to know that she’s being looked after. I’ll definitely use Sarah again for our next trip x”

“I was our first time leaving our cats to a service; we needn’t have worried. Clare was amazing, even visiting before hand to see the cats (and us) and get an idea of routine… Our Teddy normally does not go to anyone but he was curious and made friends with Clair on that very first visit 😳 Clair sent lots of daily photos and info to us with updates and chat. Clair provided a first rate caring, reliable and friendly service. We would definitely have Clair back and highly recommend Clair.”

“I had a very last-minute cancellation from another sitter on Rover (boo!) and Peter stepped in to save the day (yay!). I am very grateful to Peter for his help! He was very proactive setting up a meeting, and came round promptly to meet me, and my cat - The Kumquat. He's a really lovely and very genuinely friendly and smiley guy, who put me at ease immediately. Peter made it very easy to know The 'Quat was going to be in good hands, and within 24 hours of contacting Peter, we had an agreement and a booking in place. While I was away, Peter sent me.pics every day, and after a couple of days he had clearly made good friends with The 'Quat. I was reassured at every step that he was following my instructions and doing everything to look after The 'Quat exactly as I'd said. I didn't have any need to ask for more info or any changes in what was being done, but I'm certain that if there had been any problems or if I had needed to steer something or ask for additional stuff while I was away, Peter would have been ready and able to help. When I got home my house was absolutely spotless and had obviously been looked after and respected well. All in all, a faultless experience having Peter looking after my house and my pet. I'm absolutely going to be booking him again. Thanks very much!!!”

“Amy was amazing, she put so much time and care into looking after our cat! She is super quick to reply and left my house just as tidy as when we left. Would highly recommend!”

“Zoe was fantastic with Buffy whilst I was away. She gave daily updates, pictures and let me know how Buffy was. She completed put my mind at ease that Buffy was in safe hands. Thank you! ”

About: As well as my family having nearly ten cats between them over the years, I took care of two gorgeous cats for 4 years in my home. I'm very familiar with the needs, routines and characteristics of all cats and love being around them.

About: While I don't have cats of my own, I've had the opportunity to look after several cats I've rescued over the years, nurturing them to health and ensuring their adoption. I've also boarded cats for friends and family and we've always had the best time (the cats too of course!)

“Imogen met all my needs . She dropped in to check on my older cat. This service is so important for my peace of mind. She spent some time with my cat, fed and topped up his water, cleaned the litter tray and updated me on how it went.”

“Elizabeth was really thorough with her care of our cat and even managed to get him to come to say hi and give some affection despite normally finding it hard to relax around new people. Thank you, Elizabeth!”

“Elsa was fantastic - I would definitely book her again! Completely reliable, plus she sent me updates and pictures of my cat while I was away. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!”

“Ailsa looked after Lucy on really short notice. She came to do a meet and greet on an extremely quick timescale and looked after our dog for us a couple of days later. Our dog can be a handful and has very particular needs and Ailsa really understood what we needed and what our dog needed too. She really put us at ease and did a fantastic job. We came home to a very chilled out and tired dog who seemed to have had a great time. She kept us updated and sent photos too, which was very reassuring for us as this is the first time we have left her with anyone that isn’t family. Will definitely be using again and I would highly recommend.”

“Elliott was just amazing, from the minute we had the meet and greet I knew they were going to be perfect for our Sparkles! They kept us up to date every single time they arrived and provided regular pictures of him so that we knew everything was okay! They even brought parcels in and post for us! Thanks Elliott, can't wait to book you again!! 🥰❤️”

“Sonia has been looking after Sammy for a couple of weeks now and he is very happy to go. Sonia really wants to offer him the best care and ensures he has everything he needs. Sammy has kidney desease and need to drink often. Sonia makes sure he has plenty of water available. Due to his age, he can be slow on his walks but Sonia follows his pace.”
About: I’ve had a cockapoo back home who taught me how much love, patience, and consistency dogs need. Since moving to the UK, I’ve looked after different dogs, always making sure they feel safe, calm, and cared for. I work from home full-time, so your dog will rarely be left alone. I’m around throughout the day for walks, play, and company. My weekends are flexible too, which means extra time for longer walks or little park picnics. I live alone in a one-bedroom apartment, which means your dog gets a calm, dedicated space with my full attention. We’re right next to a garden and walking area, and the flat has lots of light and windows, so dogs feel settled and at ease.
“Benji is quite nervous around new people but I could instantly tell he was relaxed and comfortable when spending the day at James’s place. He has been spoilt with attention and walks and I received updates throughout the day. I would highly recommend James and Benji is looking forward to his next visit ☺️”

“Jenni is just amazing with our dog Jazz! She walks her regularly and has her for doggy daycare. Jazz absolutely loved her stay with her and her dog Biscuit! Jenni sends lots of photos and is very reassuring if you are worried about leaving your dog for the first time. Would recommend her without hesitation.”

About: Since I was a teenager I've been taking care of my grandparents cocker spaniel Alfie for up to a week at at time, and some weekends. Recently I've bought a house and now have a 9 month old puppy of my own called Enzo. Raising him has given me experience with puppies, as well as the knowledge I had from caring for Alfie. Between the two of them they've thrown every hurdle at me so I feel well prepared to look after your dog too. It can be difficult organising last minute care, which is why I offer same-day requests and more than happy to pick up if needed. I'm available for boarding most weekends as we are in with our own pup anyway. As I work from home on Fridays and Mondays I can look after your pup both Friday and Sunday night so that's no worry. We have a large fenced garden (which Enzo loves sniffing around) and I have a spare dog crate in case your dog needs crating overnight and you have forgotten one. Enzo is crate trained but if your pup is okay sleeping in a bed/sofa in the living room that is fine too.
“Thea had a great time with Aleksandra and we will definitely be using her again. Thea was kept entertained and we got regular updates during the day which were lovely. Would highly recommend!”

About: Having grown up surrounded by dogs I really miss having my own. I have 3 children and my boys love to help walk, play & care for dogs too. I am a keen runner so I have come back on Rover to offer a dog running service for those dogs that need more than a walk round the block. I run most evenings and from September will be able to offer a running dog service in the daytime too, I run upto 15k weekdays and longer runs on a Sunday. Being a full time mum I feel I can offer boarding anytime. Now the children are back to school I can offer walking services anytime throughout the week after 9 am. I have a lovely fenced garden front and back so lots of space and security for your dog. I live by a lovely park with lots of field space but love going on more adventurous walks too.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and at one point our family had three dogs at once, all with different breeds, personalities and care needs. Looking after dogs has always been a natural part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them. I work from home, which means I can provide plenty of company, attention and flexibility throughout the day rather than leaving dogs alone for long periods. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the sofa or simply sticking close by, I’m happy to adapt to their routine and personality. Friends and family regularly trust me to care for their pets, and I understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, happy and well looked after while you’re away. I’ll always treat your dog as if they were my own and keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. Because I work from home, I’m able to give dogs plenty of company and attention throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate walks, drop-ins and pet sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I’ll always do my best to maintain your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable, happy and settled while you’re away. I believe dogs are happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs and preferences. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines and any specific instructions carefully, and I’m comfortable administering routine medications if required. Safety, reliability and communication are very important to me, and I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is getting on. My goal is for both you and your dog to feel completely comfortable and relaxed while you’re apart.
About: We are two dog lovers who have our own cockapoo called George who loves other dogs and is playful and kind natured. We provide lots of cuddles and love at home and also plenty of exercise and playtime through walks and playing in the garden. As a couple who have had to find pet care for our own dog in the past, we feel we can provide an amazing service whilst enjoying the experience, as every person and dog in our house adores other dogs. I work from home 5 days a week and walk my dog George during my lunch break for 40 minutes. I would be able to do the same for your dog/s. My partner Nick walks George before work (7am) and again for at least an hour after work (5pm). Therefore looking after your dog during the week would easily fit into our routine and in the evenings we are mostly in our home with George watching TV and relaxing. If you require any weekend dog boarding we can accommodate this too. Our garden is fully fenced off and completely secure. We provide lots of love and care to our own dog and any other dogs that enter our home.

“Peter has been so patient with my rescue dog who was very frightened of people. My dog was lunging and barking constantly when she first met Peter but now she loves a pet, treats and can even let Peter walk her on leash without any problems. For a very anxious mum of a very anxious dog, he was absolutely brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He's a star!”

Her calm and loving approach made all the difference. It's clear she's a devoted dog mum herself, and we're so grateful to have found her. About: I've grown up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for them, from daily walks to adapting to their unique personalities and needs. Since losing our much-loved family dog last year, I’ve really missed the companionship and joy they bring. I'm calm, kind, and confident handling all sorts of behaviours—nothing surprises me! I work Monday to Friday, 9:30–5:30, but I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays — so I’ve got plenty of flexibility to do drop-ins or have your pet stay with me. I’m happy to work around your needs and routine! I’m also free most weekday evenings, and I can often accommodate weekends, overnight stays, and even longer holiday stays. I have a secure garden for the dogs to use as well as a different walking routes nearby. As well as a car to come and collect/drop off if needed. I always take the time to understand each animal’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I keep a close eye on their behaviour and surroundings, making sure they feel comfortable and secure. I’ll never let a dog off-lead unless I have full permission and trust, and I provide regular updates so you know they’re in safe, caring hands.
About: I have been around dogs all my life and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. Alongside being a devoted dog owner, I have spent 25 years working in health and social care, where trust, compassion, responsibility and attention to individual wellbeing have always been at the heart of my work. I am currently training as a counsellor, which has further strengthened my skills in patience, communication and building trusting relationships. I bring this same calm and caring approach to looking after dogs, ensuring they feel safe, secure and comfortable while in my care. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes and temperaments, including energetic dogs who require plenty of exercise as well as older dogs who benefit from a gentler pace and consistent routine. I understand the importance of following owners' instructions carefully and maintaining routines to help dogs feel relaxed and settled. My aim is to provide a safe, home-from-home experience where your dog is treated as part of the family, receiving plenty of attention, affection and enrichment while you're away. I am able to provide a flexible and reliable pet care service throughout the week, with plenty of time dedicated to ensuring dogs receive the attention, exercise and companionship they need. I share my home with my friendly and sociable dog, Monty, who is 8 years old and enjoys the company of other dogs. Because every dog is different, I believe it is important to arrange an initial meet and greet before accepting any booking. This gives me the opportunity to get to know your dog, understand their personality, routine and individual needs, and ensure they are comfortable around Monty and in the home environment. I understand how important consistency is for dogs, so I take the time to learn about their usual routine, preferences and any special requirements. My aim is to help every dog feel safe, relaxed and settled while they are in my care. When boarding, dogs will be treated as part of the family and will receive plenty of attention, affection, exercise and enrichment throughout the day. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind while they are away. As I am building a professional pet care business alongside my counselling studies and drawing on 25 years of experience working in health and social care, I have chosen a flexible working model that allows me to focus on providing high-quality, personalised care rather than taking on large numbers of dogs at once. My priority is always to create a safe, caring and trustworthy environment where both dogs and owners feel comfortable and confident. I only accept dogs that I feel are a good fit for my home environment, which is why I arrange a meet and greet before confirming any booking. This allows me to understand your dog's temperament, routine and needs, and ensure they are comfortable around my dog, Monty. I own my home and have both front and rear fenced gardens, providing secure outdoor space for supervised time outside. Inside, I have the flexibility to separate areas of the house if required, allowing dogs to have their own space to relax or to support a gradual introduction process where appropriate. I understand that not all dogs settle in the same way, and I am happy to adapt the environment to meet individual needs. I follow owners' instructions carefully regarding feeding, exercise and daily routines. Dogs are supervised appropriately, and I take the time to ensure introductions are managed safely and positively. As someone who has worked in health and social care for 25 years, I understand the importance of trust, safeguarding and responsibility. I hold an Enhanced DBS check and have completed canine first aid training, providing additional reassurance that your dog is in safe and capable hands. I believe every dog deserves individual attention, so I limit the number of dogs in my care to ensure they receive the time, supervision and care they need. I maintain regular communication with owners and am happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout their dog's stay. My aim is to give owners complete peace of mind, knowing their dog is safe, happy and cared for as if they were my own.

“Max has had another amazing stay with Michael. Couldn’t ask for more! Great at keeping me updated with plenty of photos and messages and can tell Max loves his holidays as much as us! Thanks again!”

We’d love to book with you again soon ❤️🐶”

About: Hi, I’m Keri! 👋 I am a lifelong animal lover who grew up in a busy, pet-filled household in South Africa, and I've been living here in the UK for the last few years. From massive, lovable Rottweilers and energetic German Shepherds to gentle Maltese Poodles, Labradors, and rescue cats, I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. My background includes caring for a wide range of dog breeds and cats, many of which were rescues, and each with unique personalities and needs. This experience has given me the ability to quickly adapt and provide tailored care for any pet. I know how tough it can be to leave your furry family members behind, so my absolute priority is to provide a safe, comfortable, and affectionate environment where they can thrive until you get back. I currently work in a hybrid setting. This means that I have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your pets home to keep them company during the day. Alternatively, I'm available to sleep in Thursday to Monday or do evening check-ins during the week. For me, exceptional pet care comes down to consistency, safety, and open communication. Every pet has a unique personality and history, especially rescues, and I easily adapt my approach to make them feel comfortable and happy. * **Secure Environment:** I have a fully secured garden with a 6-foot fence, offering a safe space for dogs to enjoy time outside. * **Respecting Routines:** I strictly mirror your pet's existing feeding, exercise, and sleep schedules to minimize separation anxiety. * **Safety & Security:** I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensure all gates and doors are secured, and keep dogs strictly on-leash during walks unless in a designated enclosed area. * **Peace of Mind:** I provide regular photo updates so you always know how they are doing. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a calm, structured environment filled with lots of love and cuddles, giving you total peace of mind while you are away.

Xx”
