About: I've been around cats ever since I first met my now wife 15 years ago. I am now owned by two 11 year old tuxedo cats called Bruce and Sidney and they are our pride and joy. Sidney was diagnosed diabetic a few years ago (thankfully he is currently in remission) so I do have experience with insulin injections if needed.

He was very proactive setting up a meeting, and came round promptly to meet me, and my cat - The Kumquat. Peter made it very easy to know The 'Quat was going to be in good hands, and within 24 hours of contacting Peter, we had an agreement and a booking in place. I was reassured at every step that he was following my instructions and doing everything to look after The 'Quat exactly as I'd said. When I got home my house was absolutely spotless and had obviously been looked after and respected well. All in all, a faultless experience having Peter looking after my house and my pet. About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats since we got our sassy queen, Missy (cat) when I was 10 and gorgeous boy Sam (Collie cross) when I was 11. I work full time in MCR, but 2 days are working from home so always out and about for walks around the Davenport area. Typically free on the weekends too, so can take them for bigger walks Happy to pop round or care for your pet at my house. We have a garden with a small lawn so plenty of space for them.

About: I know everyone says this but we really love dogs and having had challenges finding suitable care for our own dog wanted to offer our home to others. We like to think of ourselves as offering your dog a holiday while you enjoy yours. Our Vizsla, Ivy, has given us four years of fun, challenges and far too many face licks. She loves company so taking in new pooches is as good for her as it is for us. We offer a spacious home and garden with daily walks, enrichment activities, access to the furniture and plenty of cuddles. We will adapt to your preferences and try and keep whatever routine or habits are unique to them - after all this is meant to be fun for them too! We are happy to consider dogs who may need additional help. Ivy suffers from separation anxiety so alone time is rare and she also requires daily medication. We know it can therefore be an additional struggle finding that home from home which we can offer. We have experience of medium to large breed’s primarily but happy to consider smaller companions. Our household consists of myself, my wife, our toddler, Ivy and a cat. We do like to meet out borders before confirming a stay just to ensure the dynamics suit. We have flexible work schedules so primarily one of us is always working from home. We are out at least once per day with Ivy and therefore find an additional dog fits in seamlessly with our routine. We like to do a pre meet to make sure the environment suits your dogs needs. We treat every doggy visitor as if it’s our own, and yes that does mean they can sleep on the bed.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my family and have loved caring for them from a young age. I’ve also regularly looked after friends’ and neighbours’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities, sizes and needs. I’m reliable, patient and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’ll treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after. I’m available for pet care on weekends, as well as Mondays and Tuesdays, giving me plenty of time to provide your pet with lots of attention, exercise and companionship. I live in a large flat with a spacious outside area where dogs can safely run around and play. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so your pet can have my full attention while they’re in my care.

About: I have had cats from a very early age I've recently had a dog for 3 years and helped to train him from being a pup he was a cockapoo and very much loved unfortunately due to splitting up from my partner I no longer have him. I love all pets as my own and they are definitely made to be part of the family. I have a 16 Yr old boy who to loves animals. I love walking we have lovely parks close by. About: As a part time kennel hand I walk, feed, bathe and administer medications to dogs! I have a small garden ideal for puppies and elderly dogs as well as a local park for the more active ones. Dogs will not be allowed off lead on walks however I do often take long scenic walks (2hrs+) and would be happy to have your pup with me if they are up for the challenge. There will always be a person home with your pet and I can promise a minimum of 3 let outs/walks a day (individual needs can be discussed.) They will have plenty of play time and my sofa is their sofa. I have a fenced garden and a room your pet can have to themselves if they would like a place to hide (I'm looking at you cat owners.) Lots of toys are about and I can accommodate a crate if your pet is accustomed to sleeping in one.

About: I can look after or care for your dog when you are at work. I used to have a couple of Jack Russells and some years ago a couple of border collies. All from puppies. I work from home now and live by myself and would love some company. I have a garden. My son has a dog Luna, Pixie is my twin sister’s dog and Tomaquet & Moocher were my Jack Russells. I am flexible on days as I am home every day including evenings and weekends. Able to take out for walks. I have a fenced garden. Happy to have 2 dogs from the same family. I started to use Rover myself as a customer last year as occasionally I have to go to Nottingham for a day with work, but started to care for other people's dogs earlier this year. I am getting really booked up so if you could confirm your booking as soon as you are able to after the meet and greet so that I can guarantee the booking for your doggie woggie that would be great. I like to arrange a meet and greet first though anyway and do that at my house in Woodsmoor so that your pooch can get used to a new environment and feel more familiar. I have looked after a variety of dogs including rescue dogs who need socialising with other dogs, taller dogs who can open door handles, greedy dogs who need to be given only the right amount of food so I have to watch that they don’t pinch other dogs food, down to the real, cheeky, sweet ones who are mischievous but you can’t help loving them as they are furiously wagging their tail 😂😂😂 I have looked after puppies, dogs with attitudes and the ones who like do things on their terms but I know what I can handle with boundaries. If I or Minnie are not happy with a dog I will say so but to be honest this has only happened a couple of times. I need to know your furbaby will be comfortable too xx I work from home so can care for dogs in my house. I don’t put my dog in kennels as she is not an outside kennel dog. Minnie shares the bed with me and I am happy for your special pooch to do the same. However if your dog is crate trained I can also accommodate that. I live near Mirlees fields, but also like going to Cale Green Park, Bramhall Park, Bruntwood Park and Vernon Park. I have a fenced in garden and always take dogs out on a lead. I love looking after dogs in my own house. My dog likes running around the garden. I have loads of fields nearby so if your dog is ok off the lead they can have a run around. I use dog seats in my car when travelling to ensure that all the doggies are kept safe!

About: Big pet lover and really enjoy spending time with furry friends. I’ve helped friends look after their cats and have also cared for a friend’s dog while they were away on holiday. I’m patient, caring and responsible, and love the opportunity to spend more time with pets while making sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while their families are away;) I’m currently quite flexible, so I have plenty of time to care for them! I’m available most weekdays and weekends for walks, drop-ins, or pet sitting. I do work part-time as a bartender, usually on Friday and Saturday evenings and occasionally Sundays, so they may need to stay at mine alone for around 6 hours (roughly 6pm–12ish) on those days, if that’s okay with you. I got regular updates and pictures throughout the day which was so reassuring. I picked them up this morning and I think they would have quite happily stayed with Tracy and Dani.
