I’ve raised rabbits🐰, turtles🐢, dogs🐶, and cats🐱, and I’ve spent over a decade caring for my two beloved dogs—one senior and one adult—who now live back in China with my mum. When I got home my house was absolutely spotless and had obviously been looked after and respected well. All in all, a faultless experience having Peter looking after my house and my pet. About: I have always had a dog growing up. It all began with a red nose pitbull names Monique and now I have my rescue dog Roscoe. I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I have spent some time assisting my friend who is a professional dog walker in London. I have experience with reactive dogs. Roscoe was highly strung and very anxious when we first got him, we've learned a lot and did a lot of training with him. Now he happily plays with lots of other dogs in our area. About: I know everyone says this but we really love dogs and having had challenges finding suitable care for our own dog wanted to offer our home to others. We like to think of ourselves as offering your dog a holiday while you enjoy yours. Our Vizsla, Ivy, has given us four years of fun, challenges and far too many face licks. She loves company so taking in new pooches is as good for her as it is for us. We offer a spacious home and garden with daily walks, enrichment activities, access to the furniture and plenty of cuddles. We will adapt to your preferences and try and keep whatever routine or habits are unique to them - after all this is meant to be fun for them too! We are happy to consider dogs who may need additional help. Ivy suffers from separation anxiety so alone time is rare and she also requires daily medication. We know it can therefore be an additional struggle finding that home from home which we can offer. We have experience of medium to large breed’s primarily but happy to consider smaller companions. Our household consists of myself, my wife, our toddler, Ivy and a cat. We do like to meet out borders before confirming a stay just to ensure the dynamics suit. We have flexible work schedules so primarily one of us is always working from home. We are out at least once per day with Ivy and therefore find an additional dog fits in seamlessly with our routine. We like to do a pre meet to make sure the environment suits your dogs needs. We treat every doggy visitor as if it’s our own, and yes that does mean they can sleep on the bed.

About: Since I was a teenager I've been taking care of my grandparents cocker spaniel Alfie for up to a week at at time, and some weekends. Recently I've bought a house and now have a 9 month old puppy of my own called Enzo. Raising him has given me experience with puppies, as well as the knowledge I had from caring for Alfie. Between the two of them they've thrown every hurdle at me so I feel well prepared to look after your dog too. It can be difficult organising last minute care, which is why I offer same-day requests and more than happy to pick up if needed. I'm available for boarding most weekends as we are in with our own pup anyway. As I work from home on Fridays and Mondays I can look after your pup both Friday and Sunday night so that's no worry. We have a large fenced garden (which Enzo loves sniffing around) and I have a spare dog crate in case your dog needs crating overnight and you have forgotten one. Enzo is crate trained but if your pup is okay sleeping in a bed/sofa in the living room that is fine too.
About: Having grown up surrounded by dogs I really miss having my own. I have 3 children and my boys love to help walk, play & care for dogs too. I am a keen runner so I have come back on Rover to offer a dog running service for those dogs that need more than a walk round the block. I run most evenings and from September will be able to offer a running dog service in the daytime too, I run upto 15k weekdays and longer runs on a Sunday. Being a full time mum I feel I can offer boarding anytime. Now the children are back to school I can offer walking services anytime throughout the week after 9 am. I work in the office Monday–Friday, so I’m available in the evenings on weekdays. On weekends, I am fully available to care for dogs. Wether that be energetic and lots of exercise or relaxing on the sofa I have a gated garden with grass, a park just down the road, and space for a crate in our home. I don’t have a dog of my own, so dogs with behavioural issues around other dogs aren’t a problem. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my priority.
About: As a part time kennel hand I walk, feed, bathe and administer medications to dogs! I have a small garden ideal for puppies and elderly dogs as well as a local park for the more active ones. Dogs will not be allowed off lead on walks however I do often take long scenic walks (2hrs+) and would be happy to have your pup with me if they are up for the challenge. There will always be a person home with your pet and I can promise a minimum of 3 let outs/walks a day (individual needs can be discussed.) They will have plenty of play time and my sofa is their sofa. I have a fenced garden and a room your pet can have to themselves if they would like a place to hide (I'm looking at you cat owners.) Lots of toys are about and I can accommodate a crate if your pet is accustomed to sleeping in one.
About: I am new to Rover platform but not new to looking after adorable (and the pesky!) little doggos. We had family pets growing up but I don't have any of my own right now. About: I have looked after a variety of dogs and houses whilst travelling, using apps like trusted house sitters and workaway. About: We got our first family dog when I was about 8 years old. When I was about 14 we adopted Mickey, aged 2 - the family dog who sadly passed last year, aged 19. Since then my family had Pablo, an energetic Sprocker Spaniel. And my partner and I have had our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Copper, for 6 years from being a puppy. I regularly care for Pablo when my parents are on holiday, and have looked after friends dogs in the past. I'm working from home typically 2 days a week. On the days I'm in work, my dog will be looked after by friends or parents. My daily routine when working from home consists of a 45 minute walk first thing in the morning to the local park - usually 7.30/8am - and if the dog is up for it, the same in the late afternoon. I have a small secure garden which is padlocked at the back. I don't leave my dog unsupervised outside and just let him out for the toilet. I work upstairs in the spare room - so I just put the dogs bed next to my desk where he likes to sit. He will go down and get water when he needs it.

“Our Female Pug Coco had one day and one night with Jen, biscuit (her dog a female Cockapoo) and her family.
