“Chloe and Ant looked after Rusty for us today and they were absolutely incredible with him. Rusty is a foreign rescue who has only been in the country for 8 months, and hes not a big fan of being away from his Mum and Dad but of course that need arises sometimes! Chloe and Ant have been absolutely amazing and so incredibly patient with him. I was a bit nervous myself leaving him in the care of someone else, but I had no need to be. Chloe kept us updated with how he was getting on too which gave me peace of mind! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and we will definitely be rebooking ☺️ Rusty is now fast asleep on the floor after an epic day! Thank you both so much x”

“Sarasa was really accommodating in looking after Henry for an overnight stay at short notice. I was sent lots of updates, photos and vids and it was clear that he had a fantastic time. He was tired and very happy when he got home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and leave Henry with her again. Everything was set up to meet Henry's needs and he particular enjoyed playing with Coco and another little canine friend who was also staying there at the same time.”

“Fury always enjoys her time at Zaria's who goes out of her way to make our anxious dog feel comfortable. We really appreciate the frequent photo and video updates as well!”

“I cannot stress how easy Michael makes this. Saga, my pooch can be a bit anxious and fretful but she settled in with Michael straight away. Regular texts and pics kept the anxious and fretful mama (aka me) happy. As an overprotective dog mum I can say I am so happy to have found Michael. I can honestly say it will change our lives.”

“Lottie settled into her stay quickly and came back home much more relaxed than she does when she returns from a stay in kennels. I was sent regular photos and feedback of how she was doing. 100% recommend!”

About: I’ve always had dogs in my family and have loved caring for them from a young age. I’ve also regularly looked after friends’ and neighbours’ dogs, so I’m comfortable with dogs of different personalities, sizes and needs. I’m reliable, patient and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I’ll treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy and well looked after. I’m available for pet care on weekends, as well as Mondays and Tuesdays, giving me plenty of time to provide your pet with lots of attention, exercise and companionship. I live in a large flat with a spacious outside area where dogs can safely run around and play. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so your pet can have my full attention while they’re in my care.

“Absolutely fabulous sitter! Would absolutely send our boy again. Really responsive to messages and was super flexible for us. We felt really comfortable leaving our strong Labrador here knowing he would be safe and looked after! Thank you!”

“Edwin and his family looked after my Bruce for 2 weeks and I was really nervous about leaving him for such a long period. They took great care of him and kept me up to date with plenty of pics and messages. Bruce can be a bit anxious but this was managed really well and any concerns was discussed with me which I am very grateful for. When I picked Bruce up, he seemed very content and I got a full debrief from Edwin about his stay. It was nice knowing Bruce was being well taken care of in a family environment like he is used to which made me feel more relaxed and able to enjoy my holiday. We would happily use Edwin's services again. Thanks a bunch.”

“Absolutely brilliant! They took great care of Shangool and sent us lots of pictures and videos . My cat was so happy staying with them. They followed all the instructions perfectly and reassured me whenever I had any further requests. I will definitely rebook with them in the future. Many thanks to Afshin and his family it was a pleasure!”

“Ashely was absolutely amazing in looking after our dog, Rory. We felt so relieved to know our baby was in safe hands whilst we were away. We received lots of updates and pictures of Rory which we throughly enjoyed. Thank you so much for taking care of Rory. We really appreciate it x”

“Benny had his first overnight stay with Emilia and she was brilliant, we got lots of updates throughout the sitting & it was clear that Benny made himself at home right away. He got on so well with their dog Mavis and slept the whole day after coming home which is a sign of a good time! Thanks so much, we’d definitely book in with Emilia again ⭐️”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and had my beautiful Bella for 14 years before sadly losing her at the end of last year. While I’m not quite ready for the full-time commitment of another dog, I’d love to give your pet all the love, care and attention they deserve. I enjoy long walks, plenty of cuddles, and making sure every dog feels safe, happy and loved while you’re away. As someone who also loves to travel, pet sitting is the perfect way for me to spend time with amazing dogs while helping fellow owners have complete peace of mind. I work full-time Monday to Friday, with one full working day from home each week, and I’m able to come home at lunchtime on office days for extra visits and walks. I’m available for evening walks, drop-in visits and weekends, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise and company. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe and well cared for. I have a secure, fenced garden and I’m happy for dogs to be on the furniture and make themselves at home. I want them to feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the family while they’re with me. I also enjoy going for walks and would love to give your dog plenty of attention, cuddles and companionship.

“Cassie has had a great with Debbie! Debbie is a lovely friendly person and is able to put you at ease straight away. Cassie has been a couple of times now and this time she walked in and made herself completely at home! She was very well looked after and Debbie sent lovely updates with pictures. She is booked in again already!”

“I can’t thank Palash enough for stepping in last minute and taking such great care of Ronnie. Anyone who knows me knows Ronnie isn’t just a pet, he’s my whole world, so leaving him with someone new isn’t something I take lightly. From the start, Palash was incredibly thorough, asking plenty of questions about Ronnie’s behaviour, daily routine, food, and toilet breaks. It really showed he genuinely cared about making sure Ronnie felt comfortable and settled. He also kept me regularly updated, which gave me real peace of mind knowing Ronnie was happy and safe throughout. Hearing that Ronnie was a delight meant everything to me. As long as Ronnie is happy, I’m happy. I’d definitely use Palash again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive.”

“Linda looked after our Jackhuahua, Bella, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We received constant photo pupdates which gave us complete peace of mind, and it was clear Bella was having the best time in Linda’s lovely home. She came back happy, relaxed, and well looked after. We’ll definitely be booking with Linda again - highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I'm John Noden! I've grown up with dogs my entire life on a farm, surrounded by Border Collies and Labradors. My profile photo is with Tag, one of the Border Collies I was lucky enough to grow up with. I've experienced caring for dogs from playful puppies right through to 16 years old, giving me an understanding of their needs at every stage of life. I'm an active, outdoorsy person, so your dog will enjoy plenty of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. Whether they love adventures or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I live in Springmount Mill Apartments in Stockport, where regular toilet breaks are quick and easy. I also work from home two days a week and can often be flexible with those days, meaning your dog will have lots of company and attention. While I hope to have a dog of my own one day, caring for other people's dogs is the perfect balance for now. I'll treat your dog like they're part of the family and keep you updated throughout their stay so you can relax knowing they're in safe hands. I work from home two days a week in a 3D design role, so I’ll be around for plenty of company, toilet breaks, playtime, and attention. I do have occasional Teams meetings, but I can plan my schedule around your dog’s needs. I’m available from around 8:30am through to the evening on weekdays, with overnight stays also available. I can often have your dog stay from the evening before to make things easier. I live in a secure second-floor flat at Springmount Mill in Stockport. I have a small balcony which is safely fenced off with bamboo panels, and I’m happy to make sure it’s not accessed if needed. I can provide a comfortable and safe space for your dog and can fit a crate in my flat if your dog uses one. I’ll always follow your instructions and adapt my home to make sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and well cared for.

About: ## My Experience with Cats 🐱 I've been a proud cat owner for over six years after rescuing my own cat, and caring for him has taught me just how unique every cat is. From earning the trust of a rescue cat to understanding their individual personalities, I've gained valuable experience in providing calm, patient and attentive care. I know that many cats prefer the comfort of their own home, so during drop-in visits I'll make sure they feel safe and relaxed by sticking to their usual routine. Whether that's feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playing with their favourite toys or simply spending quiet time with them, I'll always tailor my visits to suit your cat's needs. Having cared for a rescue cat, I understand the importance of patience and recognising body language, especially with more nervous or independent cats. My priority is making sure your cat feels comfortable while giving you complete peace of mind. You'll also receive regular updates and photos after each visit, so you know your feline friend is happy and well looked after.

“Aisling was brilliant at looking after our two cats. We came home to two very happy girls! Aisling was great at keeping us up to date, and was especially sensitive to the needs of our quite anxious cat. She even had to deal with some sick, which went over and above! Huge thanks x”

“I had a very last-minute cancellation from another sitter on Rover (boo!) and Peter stepped in to save the day (yay!). I am very grateful to Peter for his help! He was very proactive setting up a meeting, and came round promptly to meet me, and my cat - The Kumquat. He's a really lovely and very genuinely friendly and smiley guy, who put me at ease immediately. Peter made it very easy to know The 'Quat was going to be in good hands, and within 24 hours of contacting Peter, we had an agreement and a booking in place. While I was away, Peter sent me.pics every day, and after a couple of days he had clearly made good friends with The 'Quat. I was reassured at every step that he was following my instructions and doing everything to look after The 'Quat exactly as I'd said. I didn't have any need to ask for more info or any changes in what was being done, but I'm certain that if there had been any problems or if I had needed to steer something or ask for additional stuff while I was away, Peter would have been ready and able to help. When I got home my house was absolutely spotless and had obviously been looked after and respected well. All in all, a faultless experience having Peter looking after my house and my pet. I'm absolutely going to be booking him again. Thanks very much!!!”

“Alex did twice daily drop in visits for our cat whilst we were away for a long weekend. It was great to meet Alex before we went away and also allowed us to introduce her to our cat make and chat through requirements. Alex is an excellent communicator and was brilliant at providing photos every day which we really appreciated. I would not hesitate in booking Alex again. Thank you Alex!”

About: I’ve had a cockapoo back home who taught me how much love, patience, and consistency dogs need. Since moving to the UK, I’ve looked after different dogs, always making sure they feel safe, calm, and cared for. I work from home full-time, so your dog will rarely be left alone. I’m around throughout the day for walks, play, and company. My weekends are flexible too, which means extra time for longer walks or little park picnics. I live alone in a one-bedroom apartment, which means your dog gets a calm, dedicated space with my full attention. We’re right next to a garden and walking area, and the flat has lots of light and windows, so dogs feel settled and at ease.

I am a huge animal lover and prior to having my cats i have owned dogs, rabbits and turtles as well so i have experience with most animals! I’m currently working full time as an Engineer however i tend to work from home 3 days a week so I during those days i will have more flexibility to care for your pets! On normal weekdays when i’m in the office i am happy to petsit before and after my working hours I have 2 cats at home so any pets that I care for in my home will absolutely need to be friendly with cats. I have a fully fenced garden (with cat fence toppers so my cats can’t jump over), and i also live very near a large field which is perfect for walks. About: I am the proud Cat Mama of a 3 year golden tabby rescue named Butters and a 2 year old silver tabby named Morpheus. They rule the house! I live in Cheadle Heath and can travel around the Cheadle / Hazel Grove / Stockport area. I can also travel to Levenshulme , Longsight and Manchester City Centre however this will increase my rate by £1 per visit. As of August 17th I am free to Cat sit full time. I had four beloved cats growing up. I often cat sit for friends when they are away and cat sit privately. I administer complex medication as part of my human job so please let me know if you need me to help with kitty meds! I haven’t done injectable meds before however can do this with a test run being shown to me. I also have an enhanced DBS check. I can be free at any time to visit your pets if given enough notice. If it is dog walking I would do this early morning or around 4pm. In my home I have 2 cats who are indoor at night and come in and out during the day. I currently do not have pets to come to stay at our home as one of my cats is a rescue and can be scared of other animals.

I offer a calm, loving home-from-home environment for small dogs only, with plenty of walks, cuddles, playtime and reassurance. I have been providing dog boarding and day care for over a year and pride myself on keeping each dog’s routine as close to home as possible, whether they usually sleep in bed, settle in their own crate, enjoy quiet time, or need lots of affection. Walks are included as part of boarding and day care, with one or two walks a day depending on your dog’s usual routine, age, energy levels and what they are comfortable with. Your dog will stay in my beautiful, welcoming home with a large enclosed back garden and plenty of space for them to relax, play and feel at home. I only look after small dogs, so the environment stays calm, manageable and suitable for little dogs who may prefer a quieter home setting.
About: I've been an animal person since I was really young but never had a dog or cat over because mum is allergic. My husband and I adopted a rescue dog the year we were married and it was the best thing we ever did. Since then, we've opened our homes and hearts to several rescues, fosters, and furry boarders! Rest assured, your fur baby will be pampered spoilt at ours! I work part-time and spend a few days of the week working from home, and my husband travels on work once or twice a week, so we are available to board most days of the week. Additionally I am VTQ certified in Advanced Pet first aid, so your pet is in safe hands, should it ever be needed. Our home is a large enough space for your fur baby to run around free. We also have a 6 and a half year old rescue indie-spitz who would love to make new play mates!
About: Experienced dog and cat sitter in Edgeley with several regular clients in area. Walking, feeding, playing, grooming and giving them attention when they are not around. I work from home so can work hours that can suit. I am fairly flexible and we can discuss options with you when we meet. I will follow your rules and guidelines to best look after your pet. Also I shall use my love and knowledge to care for them

About: I’ve been a proud dog owner for over 10 years, so I understand that every dog deserves love, patience, and individual attention. Caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, whether that’s going for long walks, playing their favourite games, or simply giving them plenty of cuddles and companionship. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pet, and I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away, keeping to their routine and giving them all the care and attention they deserve. Whether your dog is energetic and loves adventures or prefers a quieter pace, I’ll make sure they have a wonderful time in my care. I’m currently working part time so have availability on Monday, Tuesdays, Saturdays & Sundays either for full day care or a whatever timings you need. I can provide overnight stays most days depending on personal plans. I also have a small, friendly female dog who loves the company of other dogs and loves two walks a day! Your dog will be welcomed into a safe, secure, and loving home where they’ll be treated like part of the family. I have a fully enclosed, secure garden for supervised play and a clean, comfortable home where dogs can relax and feel at ease. My dog enjoys making new friends. She is well-socialised, gentle, and has a calm nature, helping visiting dogs feel welcome.
“Peter has been so patient with my rescue dog who was very frightened of people. My dog was lunging and barking constantly when she first met Peter but now she loves a pet, treats and can even let Peter walk her on leash without any problems. For a very anxious mum of a very anxious dog, he was absolutely brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He's a star!”
“Chloe’s communication is great, my pup always looks like he’s had a fun walk from the photos, she makes sure he’s settled after the walk before she leaves and he sleeps all day afterwards! Definitely recommend!”

About: I have been educated on taking care of pets, as well as having taken courses and training for this. I can take care of any pets, as well as training them. I treat all pets equally and with respect. Many have relied on me to pet sit for them and have seen good results, I have never disappointed. I can spend full time looking after the pets, with any requirements that the pets have to be given to me by the owner of the pets. I have a fenced garden. Where the cats and dogs are taken care of is separate, and both are very safe. Since I have a cattery myself I have many cat toys and the area is safe.
About: As a part time kennel hand I walk, feed, bathe and administer medications to dogs! I have a small garden ideal for puppies and elderly dogs as well as a local park for the more active ones. Dogs will not be allowed off lead on walks however I do often take long scenic walks (2hrs+) and would be happy to have your pup with me if they are up for the challenge. There will always be a person home with your pet and I can promise a minimum of 3 let outs/walks a day (individual needs can be discussed.) They will have plenty of play time and my sofa is their sofa. I have a fenced garden and a room your pet can have to themselves if they would like a place to hide (I'm looking at you cat owners.) Lots of toys are about and I can accommodate a crate if your pet is accustomed to sleeping in one.
About: I’m a lifelong dog and cat owner with many years of experience caring for pets. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and sitting services in Stockport. I’m calm, reliable, and patient, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, and I always follow your routine closely. You can expect dependable care, plenty of attention, and regular updates while you’re away. As I am retired, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have plenty of time and flexibility throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. This allows me to give pets regular attention, walks, feeding, and companionship without rushing. I take safety, trust, and comfort very seriously in all pet care services I provide. I always follow owners’ instructions carefully and make sure pets are kept secure, safe, and comfortable at all times. For dog walking, I use safe walking practices, keep dogs on leads unless instructed otherwise, and avoid unsafe areas. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I ensure your home is respected, secure, and left exactly as found. I am calm, reliable, and attentive, and I take time to understand each pet’s needs and routine. I will also provide regular updates so you can feel confident while you are away.
About: I’ve taken care of and walked lots of different dogs throughout the years as my family are all dog lovers, and all have different types of dogs I’m currently working part time so I have lots of free time, I love to get my steps in every day so I’m frequently walking short and long distances all of the time I love all pets and I have a dog that I absolutely adore, so I am well experienced with what a typical dog needs and how to interact with all different types of dogs

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since my university days, looking after a Great British Bulldog, a Coton de Tuléar, and several Welsh Collies. These very different breeds taught me how to handle strong, stubborn personalities, gentle companion dogs, and intelligent working breeds with high energy. I’m confident with a wide range of temperaments and always adapt my approach to what each dog needs to feel safe, calm, and happy. I currently have full availability and can be flexible around your pet’s routine. Whether you need early‑morning walks, daytime drop‑ins, or evening care, I’m able to fit around your schedule. I’m also available at short notice and happy to discuss regular bookings or one‑off visits depending on what works best for you and your pet. I focus on keeping their routine exactly as you’ve set it. I follow feeding times, walk schedules, and any training you’re working on, and I make sure your pet feels calm and secure in their familiar environment.
About: I can look after or care for your dog when you are at work. I used to have a couple of Jack Russells and some years ago a couple of border collies. All from puppies. I work from home now and live by myself and would love some company. I have a garden. My son has a dog Luna, Pixie is my twin sister’s dog and Tomaquet & Moocher were my Jack Russells. I am flexible on days as I am home every day including evenings and weekends. Able to take out for walks. I have a fenced garden. Happy to have 2 dogs from the same family. Also doggy day care is available. I have a Chi-Poo (Chihuahua mixed with a toy poodle). I started to use Rover myself as a customer last year as occasionally I have to go to Nottingham for a day with work, but started to care for other people's dogs earlier this year. I am getting really booked up so if you could confirm your booking as soon as you are able to after the meet and greet so that I can guarantee the booking for your doggie woggie that would be great. I like to arrange a meet and greet first though anyway and do that at my house in Woodsmoor so that your pooch can get used to a new environment and feel more familiar. I have looked after a variety of dogs including rescue dogs who need socialising with other dogs, taller dogs who can open door handles, greedy dogs who need to be given only the right amount of food so I have to watch that they don’t pinch other dogs food, down to the real, cheeky, sweet ones who are mischievous but you can’t help loving them as they are furiously wagging their tail 😂😂😂 I have looked after puppies, dogs with attitudes and the ones who like do things on their terms but I know what I can handle with boundaries. If I or Minnie are not happy with a dog I will say so but to be honest this has only happened a couple of times. I need to know your furbaby will be comfortable too xx I work from home so can care for dogs in my house. I don’t put my dog in kennels as she is not an outside kennel dog. Minnie shares the bed with me and I am happy for your special pooch to do the same. However if your dog is crate trained I can also accommodate that. I live near Mirlees fields, but also like going to Cale Green Park, Bramhall Park, Bruntwood Park and Vernon Park. I have a fenced in garden and always take dogs out on a lead. I love looking after dogs in my own house. My dog likes running around the garden. I have loads of fields nearby so if your dog is ok off the lead they can have a run around. I use dog seats in my car when travelling to ensure that all the doggies are kept safe!
About: I have always had a love for dogs growing up and I now own a Labrador Retriever and a Cocker Spaniel who I love unconditionally. They love other dogs also and we are very happy to share our home with other pooches who can accompany us on our daily walks, have fun with chew toys during the day and enjoy cuddles in the evening. I am confident in administering any medication that your dog(s) may require. I live in an area where there are plenty of fields around me including dog walking parks or smaller and quieter fields if your dog is more timid. I was a professional dog walker for 1 year 2021/2022. I hold a canine first aid qualification and a dog training diploma (certificates in photos) Please use my code for £15 off your first booking BECKYF31259, https://www.rover.com/sit/beckyf31259 I am currently on maternity leave. I am always out and about walking with my 3 children (aged 7 years, 5 years and 6 months) and my dogs I have a fenced garden and plenty of places for your dog to relax in my home. I have a friendly Labrador retriever and cocker spaniel who will keep your pup company during the short periods I am out of the house
About: I’ve looked after my family’s dogs since I was a teenager, I absolutely adore dogs and have spent a long time trying to make sure I make them feel safe and comfortable. I go down to South Wales to dog sit for my uncle’s current dog about four times per year at the moment so trying to fill the gaps with other lovely dogs. I am a civil servant so can be pretty flexible with which days I go into the office and my hours based on when you need care for your pet. Unfortunately, I’m unable to bring pets to my flat for overnight stays as pets are not allowed in our building but will do everything I can to ensure your pet is as happy and comfortable as possible when I come to look after them.

“Becky was absolutely fab with Marnie. First time leaving her with a sitter overnight and we’re so pleased we chose Becky. Marnie is usually anxious and stressed when we’ve left her with various friends and family, but she settled right in. No pacing in the night or stressing at all! I was getting frequent photo updates of Marnie and she was really happy and enjoying her time with the other dogs. Thanks so much, and we will be back again!”

“Always a pleasure to leave my dog Radley with Sarah . always feel relaxed and reassured he will be looked after . Lots of great communication and photos will definitely book again thanks xx”
