“Absolutely amazing. Catered to my 3 Frenchies. Nothing was too much and always was in the know about what they were upto with lots of pictures. On meeting him was put at ease a very genuine man and clearly a dog lover. Already booking in again for our next adventure away :D”

“Fern stayed over for just one night and she seemed to have a great time. It was a last minute booking and was so glad they were available. They sent me updates on her and how she was and they were very friendly. Was very happy with her staying here and will 100% ask for them to have Fern again, this was her first night away from home and family and she settled pretty well. Very happy”

“Debbie and Andy did a brilliant job of looking after our 3 year old Jack Russell. The photos showed her looking relaxed and settled. She was beautifully soft to stroke when we picked her up as she had been bathed after rolling in fox poo, her favourite perfume !! She loved the toy that they bought her and was very chilled when we picked her up. She had had as good a holiday as we had, we will definitely go back with her when we next go away”

“Jack was brilliant at caring for Enzo over the weekend. He treated him as if he were his own. Enzo went on so many walks, had trips to the pub and cafes and came back to us happy and extremely tired from all of his adventures. Communication throughout was excellent, and we received lots of photos and updates on how he was getting on. 5 stars, and Enzo will definitely be staying again soon.”

“Marley had an absolutely brilliant time with Sarasa. She went above and beyond for us and even brought Marley to visit us on our wedding day, which we were so grateful for! During his stay, Sarasa took Marley on so many beautiful walks and sent us loads of photos and videos of Marley having a great time! He got lots of cuddles and was so relaxed and happy when we picked him up. Sarasa’s dog Coco was also a beautiful girl and seemed to get on really well with Marley. We would absolutely use Sarasa again and can’t thank her enough for agreeing to help us with our special request. Thank you so much! X”

“Ko took such a good care of our dog! It was a very last minute booking, so that's a huge plus too! Ko was very caring and reliable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“My dog had a lovely two night stay with Sarah and her family. He settled quickly and easily and coped well being away from home overnight. Sarah sent me regular updates and photos while he was there and got on well with her dog. They had some play time and walks together then left each other alone while they got comfortable for little naps. I would be delighted to bring my dog back to Sarah in the future.”

“First time leaving our dogs with a sitter, we had nothing to worry about! Lis really put our minds at ease when we met her on the meet and greet. When we went to collect our dogs after our weekend away, we could tell that they hadn’t been fretting and were really happy, they were all over Lis, even Bella, who normally takes quite a while to get used to people! Have already booked again with Lis on the back of this weekend! 😅 x”

“Ana and her family were great with Henry and made a good job of keeping him cool and entertained. Good videos and pictures were sent aswell. Would definitely recommend”

““Fantastic service! Zaria looked after my dog for a week and did an amazing job. Great communication, regular updates, and lots of care and attention. My dog came home happy and well looked after. Highly recommended!””

“Nicola was absolutely fantastic with Nellie this weekend! From the moment we dropped her off, I felt completely at ease. Nicola kept me updated with lovely messages and photos, and it was clear that Nellie was happy, relaxed, and getting plenty of attention. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I’ll definitely be booking with Nicola again — highly recommend!”

“Keri was so wonderful with Goose! He didn’t want to leave her back garden as he was having the best little time! Highly recommend her to look after your fluffy child! He can’t wait for the next one!”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful with Lady, our 11-year-old dog, during her 10-day stay. Because Lady is an older girl, we naturally worry a bit more when we're away, but Samantha completely set our minds at ease with regular 'pupdates' and photos. Lady seemed to really enjoy her stay and came home happy and relaxed. We couldn't have asked for better care and would highly recommend Samantha to anyone!”

“My cat was happy with Afshin. He was fed and taken care well. I didn't find anxiety issues with my cat during the stay and after coming back. Frequent communication with my pet cat kept him active and out of anxiety. Also, Afshin has good experience with cat services. I am happy that I have found a trust worthy cat sitter and can leave him with Afshin in future if required. Thanks Afshin!”

“I can’t thank Palash enough for stepping in last minute and taking such great care of Ronnie. Anyone who knows me knows Ronnie isn’t just a pet, he’s my whole world, so leaving him with someone new isn’t something I take lightly. From the start, Palash was incredibly thorough, asking plenty of questions about Ronnie’s behaviour, daily routine, food, and toilet breaks. It really showed he genuinely cared about making sure Ronnie felt comfortable and settled. He also kept me regularly updated, which gave me real peace of mind knowing Ronnie was happy and safe throughout. Hearing that Ronnie was a delight meant everything to me. As long as Ronnie is happy, I’m happy. I’d definitely use Palash again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive.”

“Clive had the best time staying with Emilia, he’s never stayed with anyone other than family before so I was really nervous when looking for someone to mind him. I met Emilia a couple of days before he was due to stay and my mind was instantly put at ease. Emilia is very friendly and has a beautiful home, I knew Clive was going to be well looked after. I was kept updated throughout the time he was there with pictures & messages. Her dog is also very friendly and safe to say that Clive sulked the whole way home as Mavis had became his new bestie. Thank you again Emilia, I couldn’t have found anyone better to take care of my baby.”

About: I’ve loved dogs from a young age, having a dog of my own growing up, and I still regularly care for my family’s dogs. This has given me plenty of hands-on experience with different personalities, routines, and needs. I’m caring, responsible, and patient, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m happy to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, cuddles, and companionship while making sure their usual routine is followed. I’m also comfortable caring for both young and senior pets and understand that puppies may need extra patience and supervision, while older dogs may benefit from a slower pace, extra comfort, and attentive care. Most importantly, I want every pet to feel safe, happy, and loved while they’re in my care. I'm currently unemployed so I'm available all week. I usually have personal plans on Saturday afternoons but I'm completely free beyond that. I live in a comfortable flat in a safe, pet-friendly area, with a large park just a short walk away. This gives pets a great balance of a calm home environment and plenty of opportunity for walks, exercise, and fresh air. I always prioritise safety and make sure pets feel comfortable and settled in my care. I’m happy to follow their usual routines, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions from their owner. I also understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to make them feel relaxed and cared for in a new environment. Whether caring for a pet in my home or visiting them in their own home, I treat their space, belongings, and routines with respect. I’ll keep owners updated and make sure they can feel confident that their pet is safe, happy, and well looked after.

“Elliott was just amazing, from the minute we had the meet and greet I knew they were going to be perfect for our Sparkles! They kept us up to date every single time they arrived and provided regular pictures of him so that we knew everything was okay! They even brought parcels in and post for us! Thanks Elliott, can't wait to book you again!! 🥰❤️”

“This is my third time having Lyndsey look after my cats and she has been so wonderful. One of my cats have been poorly and needs daily medications, Lyndsey was a star with him and had no issues at all administering his meds. She was also very kind to offer to clean up after any messes as my cat has a bad tummy. It’s very clear that Lyndsey loves all cats as her own and I 100% trust her with my boys! Would recommend her over and over again to everyone.”

“Elsa looked after my cat whilst I was away and did an amazing job! Vinnie was very content when I came back and was clearly well looked after. I got plenty of thorough updates and photos which I really appreciated. I would happily rebook Elsa and recommend her to others!”

“After meeting Harry and seeing him with Tilly, I felt confident that he would be a reliable sitter. He followed all the instructions I left and kept me updated each day. I would be happy to leave her in his care again.”

“Will was absolutely amazing with our furry baby Kevin, not only did he make sure Kevin was a happy Kitty, he also made me feel very secure as I’m always anxious leaving him for more than a few days. We received regular morning/evening updates and lovely videos of Kevin having the best time. We will definitely be rebooking again!”

“Sarah took excellent care of our two cats, dropping in to our house to feed them each day when we were away for a week. She made sure they had everything they needed, and she kept us well updated which put our minds at rest. Sarah was very reliable and we would happily recommend her!”

“We were lucky enough to have Jess again to take care of our baby girl Margo again whilst we were away! Wouldn’t want anyone else! She is so good with our timid girl. Thorough updates and so lovely!! Couldn’t ask for more! ☺️ thank you again Jess!!”

“Aisling was brilliant at looking after our two cats. We came home to two very happy girls! Aisling was great at keeping us up to date, and was especially sensitive to the needs of our quite anxious cat. She even had to deal with some sick, which went over and above! Huge thanks x”

“Thank you Zoe for looking after Flora again while we were away. I always feel confident going away knowing Zoe will be keeping Flora company. I am grateful for the reassuring photo and video updates and returning home to a very happy cat. I have no hesitation in recommending Zoe as a cat sitter to anyone.”

“A brilliant sitter, Maisie is caring and attentive with our cat, he clearly loves his time with her and we feel very lucky to have found her. She ensures we are updated fully every day and keeps a close eye on him - he’s had health problems in the past so it’s very reassuring to have her updates on how he is doing. We look forward to working with her again.”

“Alex was brilliant when we made a booking for drop in visits for our cat Mabel. It was really clear that she genuinely cared about learning Mabel’s routine and was understanding of her being a nervous cat! Alex was really communicative and gave detailed updates during her visits. We would only want to book with Alex in future!”

About: While I don't have cats of my own, I've had the opportunity to look after several cats I've rescued over the years, nurturing them to health and ensuring their adoption. I've also boarded cats for friends and family and we've always had the best time (the cats too of course!)

“Zoe was super friendly and gave us regular updates and communication throughout our trip. It gave us real peace of mind knowing she would be round to see our cat. Would 100% recommend and will be in touch again for next time we are away!”

“Zaria was fantastic, reliable, friendly and totally what Wilber and I needed over the Christmas period. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs their cat looking after. Thank you. Great service.”

“I had a very last-minute cancellation from another sitter on Rover (boo!) and Peter stepped in to save the day (yay!). I am very grateful to Peter for his help! He was very proactive setting up a meeting, and came round promptly to meet me, and my cat - The Kumquat. He's a really lovely and very genuinely friendly and smiley guy, who put me at ease immediately. Peter made it very easy to know The 'Quat was going to be in good hands, and within 24 hours of contacting Peter, we had an agreement and a booking in place. While I was away, Peter sent me.pics every day, and after a couple of days he had clearly made good friends with The 'Quat. I was reassured at every step that he was following my instructions and doing everything to look after The 'Quat exactly as I'd said. I didn't have any need to ask for more info or any changes in what was being done, but I'm certain that if there had been any problems or if I had needed to steer something or ask for additional stuff while I was away, Peter would have been ready and able to help. When I got home my house was absolutely spotless and had obviously been looked after and respected well. All in all, a faultless experience having Peter looking after my house and my pet. I'm absolutely going to be booking him again. Thanks very much!!!”

“I could not recommend Sarasa enough!! We needed a last minute dog day care and she was so kind to accept this. We knew looking at her profile it was a good fit. When we arrived at Sarasa’s she invited us in and introduced us to her lovely little Frenchy! We left Nala feeling very happy and secure in our decision just from meeting Sarasa as she is so welcome and friendly and has a lovely home. We were updated regularly all day with how Nala we were also sent a video of Nala out on a lovely walk. She has come home very tired but very happy! I will definitely be using Sarasa’s doggy day care services for future trips and holidays! Can not thank her enough! X”

“Took all of our needs into consideration, really friendly and made sure my little baby was looked after. Was also a quick change of times and no problem! Would use again for sure! Thanks Samatha 😌”

About: I have multiple years of volunteering experience with RSPCA and Blue Cross, as both a shelter volunteer and cat fosterer (currently not fostering). I also petsat regularly on Rover during my final year of uni, and now that my job is settled and I am aware of how much flexibility I am afforded, I'm back to take care of your pets! I work from home so my work is flexible enough to accommodate any pet's needs. I have one flatmate with family pet experience and a partner that comes round occasionally who works on a farm with cat, dog, and livestock training and experience. My mother was a vet’s assistant when I was very young so her passion for animals has meant we always had dogs or cats or ferrets growing up. I've always loved to have pets around with a soft spot for small dogs but so much love for all shapes and sizes. I am a full time software tester working from home, and have very flexible days so I have lots of room to give your pets the attention they need. I don’t currently offer care for pets outside my own home, though would consider in future. I live in a two bed house with a housemate and a partner who comes round on their day off (please note my housemate is male so if your pets have any issues with men I am probably not the sitter for you unfortunately!) I have experience with both reactive/anxious and more easygoing pets and can tailor their care to fit your preferred routine with ease. I have my own car and can pickup/dropoff for petrol money (50p/mile), and I don’t smoke :)

“We had to book for our whippet very last minute due to being let down by alternative arrangements. Molly was really fast to reply, great comms & Finn seemed to be perfectly at ease. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook if needed in future. Thank you xx”

About: I am the proud Cat Mama of a 3 year golden tabby rescue named Butters and a 2 year old silver tabby named Morpheus. They rule the house! I live in Cheadle Heath and can travel around the Cheadle / Hazel Grove / Stockport area. I can also travel to Levenshulme , Longsight and Manchester City Centre however this will increase my rate by £1 per visit. As of August 17th I am free to Cat sit full time. I had four beloved cats growing up. I often cat sit for friends when they are away and cat sit privately. I administer complex medication as part of my human job so please let me know if you need me to help with kitty meds! I haven’t done injectable meds before however can do this with a test run being shown to me. I also have an enhanced DBS check. I can be free at any time to visit your pets if given enough notice. If it is dog walking I would do this early morning or around 4pm. In my home I have 2 cats who are indoor at night and come in and out during the day. I currently do not have pets to come to stay at our home as one of my cats is a rescue and can be scared of other animals.
“Nobody wanted to entertain me because Rex is a German shepherd which is classed as a large dog, However this did not bother Becky at all and I will tell you from the minute she met Rex the dog was happy and Becky didn't seem intimidated at all, Although it was only a stay of a few hours I was kept upto date with pictures I would not hesitate to use or recommend Becky again”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have experience looking after my own dog, Goggins, who is part of the family and my everyday life. I’m patient, caring and very attentive to their needs, and I understand that every dog has a different personality and routine. I’m happy to follow each owner’s instructions and make sure their pet gets plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles. I also work from home, which means I can give pets lots of company throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I work from home, so I have plenty of flexibility during the day to give pets attention, take them for walks, play with them and make sure they’re not left alone for long periods of time. I also have my own dog, Goggins, so I’m already used to having a dog as part of my everyday routine. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and would be happy to fit their routine around what they’re used to at home. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable and at home while they’re with me. I have experience looking after my own dog and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. I’ll always follow the owner’s instructions around food, walks, playtime and anything else they normally do. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you know how your pet is doing. For me, trust is really important, both for the pet and for their owner.
“Arlo had the best time with Sarah. He slept for a full day after just because he had so much fun playing. Sarah sent us pics regularly, took him for walks, played with him, communicated really well with us, was really accommodating in meeting us beforehand. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will be contacting again when needed! Thanks so much!!”

About: I’ve had a cockapoo back home who taught me how much love, patience, and consistency dogs need. Since moving to the UK, I’ve looked after different dogs, always making sure they feel safe, calm, and cared for. I work from home full-time, so your dog will rarely be left alone. I’m around throughout the day for walks, play, and company. My weekends are flexible too, which means extra time for longer walks or little park picnics. I live alone in a one-bedroom apartment, which means your dog gets a calm, dedicated space with my full attention. We’re right next to a garden and walking area, and the flat has lots of light and windows, so dogs feel settled and at ease.

About: I am currently staying with my partner and my two cats in Cheadle! I am a huge animal lover and prior to having my cats i have owned dogs, rabbits and turtles as well so i have experience with most animals! I’m currently working full time as an Engineer however i tend to work from home 3 days a week so I during those days i will have more flexibility to care for your pets! On normal weekdays when i’m in the office i am happy to petsit before and after my working hours I have 2 cats at home so any pets that I care for in my home will absolutely need to be friendly with cats. I have a fully fenced garden (with cat fence toppers so my cats can’t jump over), and i also live very near a large field which is perfect for walks. When caring for pets in their own home, I am always cautious when entering/leaving that no pets can escape. I assume that all cats i care for are indoor cats unless specifically told otherwise.

In My Home: My consists of a 2 bedroom apartment in Stockport with a fenced in garden and access to trails for active dogs. Cats are welcome to roam free in the house as if it were their own. I provide a safe, loving environment with consistent routines, plenty of playtime, cozy rest areas, and daily walks. In the Pet Owner’s Home: I follow the pet’s routine, ensuring they’re comfortable and cared for, while respecting the home. I am able to provide job cards and updates to pet owners whenever you require as I understand you will miss your furry friend.
“Jes and her bf were great dogsitters. They agreed to a last minute request and were flexible with times too. Jes looked after Willow for two days, Willow was a little anxious the first day but the second day she was completely at ease and very excited to see them. Jes sent regular updates and photos and would always respond to messages very quickly. I couldn't recommend Jes more for a dogsit.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and had my beautiful Bella for 14 years before sadly losing her at the end of last year. While I’m not quite ready for the full-time commitment of another dog, I’d love to give your pet all the love, care and attention they deserve. I enjoy long walks, plenty of cuddles, and making sure every dog feels safe, happy and loved while you’re away. As someone who also loves to travel, pet sitting is the perfect way for me to spend time with amazing dogs while helping fellow owners have complete peace of mind. I work full-time Monday to Friday, with one full working day from home each week, and I’m able to come home at lunchtime on office days for extra visits and walks. I’m available for evening walks, drop-in visits and weekends, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise and company. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe and well cared for. I have a secure, fenced garden and I’m happy for dogs to be on the furniture and make themselves at home. I want them to feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the family while they’re with me. I also enjoy going for walks and would love to give your dog plenty of attention, cuddles and companionship.
About: I know everyone says this but we really love dogs and having had challenges finding suitable care for our own dog wanted to offer our home to others. We like to think of ourselves as offering your dog a holiday while you enjoy yours. Our Vizsla, Ivy, has given us four years of fun, challenges and far too many face licks. She loves company so taking in new pooches is as good for her as it is for us. We offer a spacious home and garden with daily walks, enrichment activities, access to the furniture and plenty of cuddles. We will adapt to your preferences and try and keep whatever routine or habits are unique to them - after all this is meant to be fun for them too! We are happy to consider dogs who may need additional help. Ivy suffers from separation anxiety so alone time is rare and she also requires daily medication. We know it can therefore be an additional struggle finding that home from home which we can offer. We have experience of medium to large breed’s primarily but happy to consider smaller companions. Our household consists of myself, my wife, our toddler, Ivy and a cat. We do like to meet out borders before confirming a stay just to ensure the dynamics suit. We have flexible work schedules so primarily one of us is always working from home. We are out at least once per day with Ivy and therefore find an additional dog fits in seamlessly with our routine. We like to do a pre meet to make sure the environment suits your dogs needs. We treat every doggy visitor as if it’s our own, and yes that does mean they can sleep on the bed.

“Chloe’s communication is great, my pup always looks like he’s had a fun walk from the photos, she makes sure he’s settled after the walk before she leaves and he sleeps all day afterwards! Definitely recommend!”

“Peter is so good with my fearful and reactive rescue dog. He has done so much research every time we meet and is incredibly patient. Sasha loved her walk today. I can't thank him enough for building her confidence and trust that other people can be kind.”

Rest assured, your fur baby will be pampered spoilt at ours! I work part-time and spend a few days of the week working from home, and my husband travels on work once or twice a week, so we are available to board most days of the week. Additionally I am VTQ certified in Advanced Pet first aid, so your pet is in safe hands, should it ever be needed. Our home is a large enough space for your fur baby to run around free. We also have a 6 and a half year old rescue indie-spitz who would love to make new play mates!

When caring for pets in their own home, I am always cautious when entering/leaving that no pets can escape. I assume that all cats i care for are indoor cats unless specifically told otherwise.

About: I’ve looked after my family’s dogs since I was a teenager, I absolutely adore dogs and have spent a long time trying to make sure I make them feel safe and comfortable. I go down to South Wales to dog sit for my uncle’s current dog about four times per year at the moment so trying to fill the gaps with other lovely dogs. I am a civil servant so can be pretty flexible with which days I go into the office and my hours based on when you need care for your pet. Unfortunately, I’m unable to bring pets to my flat for overnight stays as pets are not allowed in our building but will do everything I can to ensure your pet is as happy and comfortable as possible when I come to look after them.
About: Hi there, I’m Emily ☺️ I’ve always had dogs and cats in the family home, so I’ve got lots of experience with different breeds and personalities. I live at home with my partner Josh and our gorgeous 7 month old puppy, Buzz. Buzz loves people and other dogs. We want to get him used to having friends coming round or to walk in the park, which is why we thought Rover would be s great way for him to socialise as well as helping other dog mums and dads out! Since having Buzz, we know how important it is to find someone you trust to look after your doggie whilst you’re away and we have had good experience of leaving Buzz with great people we have found on Rover. 🐶 I work from home most days, so I’ve got plenty of time for morning, lunchtime, and evening dog walks. I can also pop in during the day to let your wee doggy out in the garden, feed them, or just give them a bit of company (and a cuddle obvs!). I’m also available for holiday cover and home sits. I also offer holiday care in my own home, so your dog can stay somewhere comfortable and safe while you’re away. My home has a secure back garden with high brick walls, perfect for playtime and fresh air. I’ve got my own car, so I’m flexible and love exploring Stockport and the surrounding areas on long, fun walks! I have previously been DBS checked.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since my university days, looking after a Great British Bulldog, a Coton de Tuléar, and several Welsh Collies. I’m confident with a wide range of temperaments and always adapt my approach to what each dog needs to feel safe, calm, and happy. I currently have full availability and can be flexible around your pet’s routine. Whether you need early‑morning walks, daytime drop‑ins, or evening care, I’m able to fit around your schedule. I focus on keeping their routine exactly as you’ve set it. I follow feeding times, walk schedules, and any training you’re working on, and I make sure your pet feels calm and secure in their familiar environment.

Very happy”

“Matthew was amazing with Kasper & Kara, walking the two of them together several times a day and letting them have a run in an enclosed dog field. He maintained their medication and feeding routine and sent regular updates and videos which we really appreciated. They came home contented and tired and fell straight to sleep. Highly recommend and will certainly use again. Thank you Matthew and family 😊”

“If I could give Bianca and Chloe 100 stars it still wouldn’t be enough. Absolutely fantastic boarders. I could tell they loved my Lennie as much as I do. So much communication, lots of photos and videos to put my mind at rest. I’ve used a few boarders with Rover before but none have compared to Bianca and Chloe. My number 1 from now on if I have to leave Lennie with a boarded. Lennie bonded so well with them and their dog, Otis. It was like leaving him with a member of my own family. I cannot thank them enough for looking after my little boy 🥰”

“Florence and Kyle were wonderful with our dog Max. They were very organised and made us feel very happy to leave him. Max had clearly had a really good time and we would be happy to for him to go there again. Many thanks Claire and Phil”

“Ana and her family were great with Henry and made a good job of keeping him cool and entertained. Good videos and pictures were sent aswell. Would definitely recommend”

“Pep loved his stay with Sophie after booking last minute. He came home well exercised and very happy! Couldn’t recommend Sophie enough! Will definitely be hoping to use her again in the future!”

“Becky was absolutely fab with Marnie. First time leaving her with a sitter overnight and we’re so pleased we chose Becky. Marnie is usually anxious and stressed when we’ve left her with various friends and family, but she settled right in. No pacing in the night or stressing at all! I was getting frequent photo updates of Marnie and she was really happy and enjoying her time with the other dogs. Thanks so much, and we will be back again!”

“Wonderful I booked with Ashley as my usual lady wasn’t available and I met with a different person ( not off rover) and didn’t find them fitting. I have an oversized lap dog ( choc lab). Ashley was warm and welcoming accepted initial bull in a china shop welcome and sent me videos and photos of him which made me leaving him so much more easier. Would highly recommend, and will hopefully be booking in again.”
