“Ellie was brilliant with my dog Koda!! Had to find someone very last minute and am a super anxious pet parent but from the moment I met Ellie she put me at ease, she was so great and with Koda! Would absolutely book again! 🥰”

“This is the second time I’ve booked with Chloe, and once again the service was perfect. Chloe is professional, reliable, and clearly cares about the pets she looks after. I would 100% recommend her for any of your pet care requirements. 🐾”

“We were really grateful to Esme for looking after our two dogs while we were away, especially with the additional complication of one of them being in a cone due to an injury that occurred just before we went away. Esme was in regular contact while we were away and both dogs had clearly been well looked after.”

“Excellent ! This was the first time Dex has stayed in our home to look after our cat. We were completely satisfied with everything - and have already booked her for 4 more holidays !”

“What a brilliant pair! I feel excited to have found such a lovely couple to look after my Nacho who is not ok being left alone, having Rob and Rebecca as a couple looking after him meant he would never be alone for a moment and he got double the cuddles. We weren't able to meet before Rob & Rebecca stayed at our house with the pets for a whole weekend but I found them to very trustworthy, with great communication before and during the stay. They also left our house very neat and tidy. Really appreciate all you did for us and Nacho would love to barricade you in bed again in the future 🤣”

“Jack looked after Forrest overnight. Forrest is a large and expressive dog, Jack adjusted to his quirks very quickly. Jack provided us with lots of updates while we were away, it was clear that Forrest’s care was his main priority. I returned home to a very chilled out dog, and a super clean home. 100% recommend Jack, even for reactive dogs. We will be returning customers. Thank you!”

About: I have always loved with multiple pets (dogs, cats + farm animals) and so have many years of caring for them. I am happy to cater for your pets personal needs, and depending on the dates required can be flexible with the time of day that your pet needs looking after. I can travel locally to areas such as Didsbury, Withington, Chorlton, Northenden, Burnage, Wythenshawe etc. Growing up I wanted to become a vet, so have had lots of experience volunteering in vets practices, farms, and even zoos. I now work as a lecturer at the University of Manchester. I would be more than happy to discuss your pets individual needs and love to play and cuddle with both dogs and cats.

“Charlotte was great with Norman and Enzo. She came to meet them prior and was super informative with her check ins. She sent lots of great photos and kept me up to date well with great communication. Felt very at ease having her look after Norman and Enzo - thank you!”

“Elizabeth was a fantastic friendly, responsive and reliable sitter and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her! She stayed in my home for 3 nights to take care of my dog and cats while I was away. She sent photos and updates regularly and when my dog didn’t settle on the first night, was in contact with me to check in about options. She is a caring and responsible sitter and I will definitely rebook.”

“Ellie did a great job house sitting for our dog Sandy! She’s super reliable, and kept us updated while we were away. Sandy was really well looked after, and we’ve booked Ellie in for another stay. Highly recommend!”

About: Love all doggies, especially Large and Giant Breeds: 20+ years of experience and care About Me Hi, I’m Ko! For over two decades, my life has revolved around the love, training, and care of dogs. While I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes, my true passion and specialty lie with giant breeds. I understand that extra-large dogs require extra-large understanding, patience, and physical capability. When your big pup stays with me, they aren’t just getting a pet sitter—they are getting someone who understands giant breed traits, from the gentle-giant sensitivity of Great Danes to the protective loyalty of Rottweilers. My home is a safe, spacious, and calm environment where your large dog can feel entirely comfortable and understood. Why Choose Me? • 20+ Years of Hands-on Experience: Two decades of managing diets, medication, and behavioral needs. • Giant Breed Specialist: Extensive experience with Rottweilers, Ridgebacks and Mastiff breeds. • Leash Control Mastery: Expert at handling strong pullers using positive reinforcement techniques. • Home Full-Time: Your dog will receive constant supervision and companionship. I currently work from home 3 days a week from a desk in my living room. So, I'm always with your doggy and in line of sight of the sofa, which is avaialble for them. I am available for long weekends or longer if arranged in advance. I work from the office Wenesdays and another day, which is flexible, so I could probably rearrange as needed. I have a dog friendly home with a sofa which I'm willing to share if your pup will let me. I have a small deck and fenced in yard. However, I walk three times a day in Cringle park for an hour at a time, so the deck is just for lounging and the yard for between walk toileting. No children, no pets of my own and a nice quiet environment for your pup. I recently lost my beautiful Ridgeback Mastiff Trevor. I wouldn't go as far as saying I like dogs more than people...but you know what I mean. Your favourite person will be happy, safe and entertained if they stay with me and I will be very happy to look after them.
“We messaged Peter after our other dog sitter cancelled less than 2 weeks before we were flying to get married. Peter came and met the dogs before he looked after them, they loved him, we have one nervous dog and he was really good with her. Peter walked and played with them everyday, updated me on everything and sent lots of pictures and videos of my babies, I’m very nervous when leaving them, he was great on helping me feel less anxious, my dogs loved him and will definitely miss him, and we will definitely be booking him again 😌 my house was very clean and tidy when we came back aswell Love stormy and Cleo 🩷🩵”

About: I have taken care of dogs all my life I have loads of experience with different types of dogs small or large and had dogs myself I will have plenty of time to play with your dogs and give them the care while you are away plenty of love given to them I will make sure everything is safe while looking after your dog and stand with them while outside and make sure everything is made secure

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and had my beautiful Bella for 14 years before sadly losing her at the end of last year. While I’m not quite ready for the full-time commitment of another dog, I’d love to give your pet all the love, care and attention they deserve. I enjoy long walks, plenty of cuddles, and making sure every dog feels safe, happy and loved while you’re away. As someone who also loves to travel, pet sitting is the perfect way for me to spend time with amazing dogs while helping fellow owners have complete peace of mind. I work full-time Monday to Friday, with one full working day from home each week, and I’m able to come home at lunchtime on office days for extra visits and walks. I’m available for evening walks, drop-in visits and weekends, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise and company. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing they’re happy, safe and well cared for. I have a secure, fenced garden and I’m happy for dogs to be on the furniture and make themselves at home. I want them to feel comfortable, relaxed and part of the family while they’re with me. I also enjoy going for walks and would love to give your dog plenty of attention, cuddles and companionship.

About: Your Experience I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have always had a huge love for them. Unfortunately, now that I’m an adult, my lifestyle doesn’t allow me to have a dog of my own, so I love getting my dog fix by looking after everyone else’s! I’m the designated sitter for my sister and two friends, regularly looking after their dogs whenever they go away for weekends or holidays. I also walk my neighbour’s dog in the evenings when they’re working late. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities, whether that means long walks, playing, keeping them company or simply giving them plenty of attention and cuddles. I’m also a regular runner, so if your dog is particularly energetic and needs more than a gentle stroll, I’m more than happy to give them the exercise they need. Every dog is different, and I’m very happy to follow whatever routine, exercise and care your dog is used to. My priority is making sure they feel happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available for morning and evening walks, weekend care and overnight stays when arranged in advance. If your stay away is during the week I’m available to work from home. I’m active and regularly go running and walking, so I’m very happy to fit your dog’s usual exercise routine into my day. I’m flexible and will always work around their individual needs and your schedule. Your dog’s safety and happiness will always be my priority. I’ll make sure walks are calm, enjoyable and suited to your dog’s individual needs, age and energy levels. I’m experienced with dogs and understand the importance of following their usual routines, boundaries and instructions. I’ll keep you updated during walks and treat your dog with the same care and attention I would give my own. Your home will also be treated with respect and left secure and exactly as I found it. Above all, I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is in safe, caring hands while you’re away.
About: I have taken care of dogs for many years. Having 3 dogs growing up and moving on to dog and cat sitting and dog walking as an adult. Giving those fur babies the love they deserve. Can assist in routines and trick training. I work full time, but work 3 days from home and am available to do drop ins on these days. Weekends can do walks and pet sitting and staying over to keep an eye on them from day to day. I have a flat that is suitable for animals. I am active and can take the pets for walks and give them exercise they require.

About: I'm a huge animal lover and had the joys of growing up with dogs in my family. We currently have 2 dogs - Winston (Zuchon) 11 years and Lula (Cavapoo) 5 years. Both dogs we have had from being a puppy and they are an integral part of the family. Both are well trained and love other dogs. We both work from home so looking after other dog would simply fit in with a current dog care routine. Minimum 2 walks a day for approx 1 hour each. I have plenty of room for more dogs, including access to a spacious kitchen, living room, and a fenced secure garden and 2 dogs to play with. We have 2 local places to walk them within a 10 min walk. The lovely Didsbury Park and the Heaton Mersey Common. Both have a lovely community of dog walkers so plenty of fun to be had! This is where I take quality photos of your dogs having fun! If you have any questions or would like to meet beforehand, please drop me a message and I'll be happy to ensure that you and your dog(s) are comfortable. My calendar is kept up to date and you are welcome to contact me to check availability. I also have a secure back garden to ensure regular toilet breaks Dogs are welcome to relax anywhere they feel comfortable, whether that be my sofa, bed, the floor, or in their crate. I like to take lots of photos and share these with owners for their peace of mind.
About: I grew up with dogs and have always very much enjoyed their company, and I am fortunate enough to look after my friend's dogs on a regular basis. I enjoy keeping them active and taking them for a decent walk, just as much as chilling together on the sofa. I have a lot of experience training my pets and really enjoy doing this. My family and friends have had a variety of breeds, big and small, and so I have an understanding of their differing temperaments. I'm currently studying at university so have plenty of time to care for your dogs! I am available for boarding, day care and walks most weekends, and some weekdays. I live in a spacious flat with my brother, another dog lover. I don't have access to a garden, however I am only a stone's throw away from a decent sized park. Your dog is more than welcome to chill on the sofa with me and to sleep on the bed if that's what they're used to, however I am more than happy to crate them if that's your preference. I have experience administering oral medication and so am comfortable doing that for you if necessary.

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Edgeley
Edie had such a lovely evening with Emma and it sounded like they had lots of fun together! Emma was so enthusiastic/happy about looking after Edie, which was really nice, and communication was lovely throughout. We felt totally comfortable leaving Edie with Emma and would definitely be happy for her to look after her again!

We were really grateful to Esme for looking after our two dogs while we were away, especially with the additional complication of one of them being in a cone due to an injury that occurred just before we went away. Esme was in regular contact while we were away and both dogs had clearly been well looked after.

Emilia was so wonderful looking after our boy Dash. She let him get comfortable with her at his own pace, and once he was confident enough, took him for long walks exploring the neighborhood parks. Her communication was excellent throughout the weekend, with lots of photos and updates. So happy to have found Emilia and look forward to her next stay!

Ellie was an amazing dog sitter. It’s my first time using Rovers and I’m very happy with Ellie looking after Leo in my home. I received regular updates and photos . Leo looked very relaxed and happy. I would definitely ask Ellie to sit again, and would also highly recommend her.

Charlotte was great with Norman and Enzo. She came to meet them prior and was super informative with her check ins. She sent lots of great photos and kept me up to date well with great communication. Felt very at ease having her look after Norman and Enzo - thank you!

Elizabeth was a fantastic friendly, responsive and reliable sitter and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her! She stayed in my home for 3 nights to take care of my dog and cats while I was away. She sent photos and updates regularly and when my dog didn’t settle on the first night, was in contact with me to check in about options. She is a caring and responsible sitter and I will definitely rebook.

What a gorgeous person Becca is. When Daisy first met her she couldn’t kiss her enough and Becca didn’t care about her stinky breath! She radiates kindness and Daisy just loved her immediately. I’ve found it so hard to leave Daisy since she lost her brother last year. She spent all of her 9 years of her life with him and it’s not been easy being on her own and I’ve found it so hard to leave her. This is the first time we have used Rover recommended by my daughter and I was dubious trying to find someone last minute, who to trust, who would Daisy be ok to be left with…. and how lucky we were to find Becca who accepted last minute, came round the night before to introduce herself to Daisy and stayed later than she was booked for. Daisy took her for a walk as well. I can’t recommend Becca enough she is kind and reliable and trustworthy and most importantly Daisy loves her! Thank you so much Becca, Daisy is looking forward to seeing you again soon xxx

Keri was very attentive to our pets needs. After an initial meet and greet we had confidence our pets were in safe hands. Throughout our time away she gave updates letting us know they were safe and well looked after. She administered several types of medications and handle cross species interactions (no small feat with our cat and dog). She also checked in with clarifications when needed - ensuring the right medication was used, which we loved. Lastly she kept our home clean and tidy for our return. We would recommend her to anyone.

Craig is absolutely fantastic; we highly recommend him! Craig is great with Atlas, Craig takes him on long walks, plays with him, chills on the sofa with him, and meets all his daily routine requirements. Craig goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and reassured that your pet is well looked after, and provides photo updates too! We will 100% be booking back in with Craig, Atlas can’t wait to see him again! Thank you, Craig :)

Sarah was very professional from the first message, including offering a meet and greet before the sit where she asked some really insightful questions about our pets and their routines/habits. Our staffie has a lot of energy and can be intimidating to some, Sarah read him very well and he was settling even before we’d left the house. Our cat often disappears for visitors, however she felt safe and comfortable enough around Sarah to spend some time downstairs. The house was clean and tidy and the pets were safe and happy on our return. We would recommend Sarah to anyone needing a sitter.

Couldn't thank Emma enough. Lovely person. She really did the extra mile taking care of our very active dog and left the house very tidy. Our worries went away in the first day of our holiday as we received loads of pictures and updates. Would recommend her in a heartbeat. X

Erwan was amazing with our dog Oliver! As a rescue he can be nervous at first with new people but he loved Erwan straight away. Erwan also made sure to keep us updated whilst we were away which gave us peace of mind, he has great communication skills and was lovely throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good pet sitter.
