Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up with three big dogs has taught me how to confidently handle energetic, strong breeds, and I also have two gorgeous cats, so I’m very confident in caring for cats! I trained my dog Tilly Floss from being a very energetic (and slightly problematic) lab puppy to being a just as energetic but much more well behaved adult! I know how important it is for pets to feel secure when their owners are away, and I will do everything I can to keep their routines normal and as stress free as possible!

When caring for pets in their owners homes, I always aim to maintain their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. I understand that trust is incredibly important when inviting someone into your home, so I treat every home with respect, keeping it clean, tidy and secure. Your pets safety and well being are my top priorities. I’m also more than happy to provide regular updates and photos for added peace of mind :)

We were extremely disappointed with the service we received while we were away on holiday. We have two 4 month old kittens that Emilia was looking after. Before booking I ask Emilia to confirm her work schedule because it was important for her to be at our home in the mornings to feed and play with the girls. She confirmed she was working a few afternoons and that she wouldn’t be working mornings, if she was out on a morning shift she said she would swap it out. While we were away we got a message from Emilia sent at midnight (which was 1am where we were) stating she was going to be working the next morning. I found this really frustrating and unprofessional to give us such late notice. I had to get a family member to go over and feed the girls as Emilia was missing their lunch. This then happened again but with even less notice a day later. This caused a lot of stress while we were away and is a total breach of the terms we agreed when booking. I would never have booked Emilia if I knew this would happen. We also came home to a house that absolutely stank. The automatic litter hadn’t been topped up at all in the 5 days so it couldn’t clean itself. There were clumps of litter and wee behind it and we even found some litter and poo up our stairs. We have indoor cameras which Emilia knew about. On the last day of the stay we saw Emilia had ignored the girls all morning and been on her phone for 3 hours straight. I asked Emilia to leave early and had someone else come in and take over. I do not recommended Emilia for this type of service and won’t be using her again.
Emilia was so wonderful looking after our boy Dash. She let him get comfortable with her at his own pace, and once he was confident enough, took him for long walks exploring the neighborhood parks. Her communication was excellent throughout the weekend, with lots of photos and updates. So happy to have found Emilia and look forward to her next stay!

Thanks Emilia for taking good care of our elderly dog and cat. And for sending photos so we knew they were all good!
Emilia was great with our lively lurcher pup! She made sure to understand his routine ahead of looking after him for the evening and kept him well entertained and very happy. We were sent lovely updates through the evening to check in too. Would definitely use Emilia again - thank you very much!

Schedule
I currently work part time in a coffee shop, which means my schedule differs week to week. However, this flexibility allows me to accommodate a range of pet care needs, including walks, drop in visits and house sitting. Looking after animals has always been part of my routine, and caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy. I’m happy to work around your pets usual schedule :)
