Hi, I’m Keri! 👋 I am a lifelong animal lover who grew up in a busy, pet-filled household in South Africa, and I've been living here in the UK for the last few years. From massive, lovable Rottweilers and energetic German Shepherds to gentle Maltese Poodles, Labradors, and rescue cats, I have spent my entire life surrounded by animals of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. My background includes caring for a wide range of dog breeds and cats, many of which were rescues, and each with unique personalities and needs. This experience has given me the ability to quickly adapt and provide tailored care for any pet. I know how tough it can be to leave your furry family members behind, so my absolute priority is to provide a safe, comfortable, and affectionate environment where they can thrive until you get back.

Lottie settled into her stay quickly and came back home much more relaxed than she does when she returns from a stay in kennels. I was sent regular photos and feedback of how she was doing. 100% recommend!
Keri was very attentive to our pets needs. After an initial meet and greet we had confidence our pets were in safe hands. Throughout our time away she gave updates letting us know they were safe and well looked after. She administered several types of medications and handle cross species interactions (no small feat with our cat and dog). She also checked in with clarifications when needed - ensuring the right medication was used, which we loved. Lastly she kept our home clean and tidy for our return. We would recommend her to anyone.
Stanley was so well looked after by Keri, he even ran back from the car to say one more goodbye. Keri looked after Stanley for 2 nights and took him on long walks, which is evident given how tired he is now. I would definitely book with her again
Keri was absolutely amazing looking after our puppy, Pablo. It was clear from the moment we picked him up that he’d been so well cared for and had a fantastic time. Pablo can be quite excitable and energetic, but Keri was brilliant with him. He came home happy, relaxed and clearly very comfortable in her care. We received updates while we were away, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to enjoy our holiday knowing he was in safe hands. It’s obvious that Keri genuinely loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable and trustworthy dog sitter. Thanks Keri, for taking such wonderful care of Pablo!

Schedule
I currently work in a hybrid setting. This means that I have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your pets home to keep them company during the day. Alternatively, I'm available to sleep in Thursday to Monday or do evening check-ins during the week.

For me, exceptional pet care comes down to consistency, safety, and open communication. Every pet has a unique personality and history, especially rescues, and I easily adapt my approach to make them feel comfortable and happy. * **Secure Environment:** I have a fully secured garden with a 6-foot fence, offering a safe space for dogs to enjoy time outside. * **Respecting Routines:** I strictly mirror your pet's existing feeding, exercise, and sleep schedules to minimize separation anxiety. * **Safety & Security:** I treat your home with the utmost respect, ensure all gates and doors are secured, and keep dogs strictly on-leash during walks unless in a designated enclosed area. * **Peace of Mind:** I provide regular photo updates so you always know how they are doing. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a calm, structured environment filled with lots of love and cuddles, giving you total peace of mind while you are away.
A typical day
A typical day with me is structured around your pet's energy levels, routines, and specific needs. I generally provide two walks a day to keep them happy and engaged. * **Active Fun:** For energetic dogs, I love taking them for runs in the park and throwing the ball to burn off some energy. * **Mental Stimulation:** I make sure we go for plenty of walks so they can thoroughly sniff the neighbourhood, which is great for keeping them mentally stimulated and relaxed. * **Home Time:** Back at the house, they will have access to my fully secured, 6-foot fenced garden for safe outdoor playtime, followed by plenty of downtime, love, and cuddles indoors. I always tailor the pace, distance, and activity level to exactly what your pet needs and enjoys.

- It is incredibly helpful for me to know your pet's exact daily routine, as well as any specific triggers they might have, big or small. This includes: * **Reactions to other dogs:** Knowing if they are reactive, overly excited, or nervous around other dogs on a walk. * **Sound triggers:** If they are easily startled or stressed by certain sounds, like thunder, fireworks, or loud traffic. * **Behavioral quirks:** Everyday things like disliking scooters and wanting to chase them.😂 The more I know about their likes, dislikes, and reactions, the better I can proactively manage situations and keep their day entirely stress-free.
