Dog-loving teacher with experience
A dog lover my whole life, I have years of being relied upon to look after pets for friends and family. I have a senior samoyed pup (the one in my profile picture) and so I have experience with senior dogs as well as bigger/wolf/vocal dog breeds. I have recently moved back to Long Island from England, where I was a high school Math teacher for 8 years. I am currently not working full-time as I look for employment, so I have lots of time to dedicate to your pup! 🐾 This also means I am DBS (background) checked, as well as background checked by Rover. My partner Trent (who is also background checked!) is also a dog lover and lifelong dog owner (most recently of a beautiful staffy girl), and he may help me out from time to time if needed. We have looked after dogs of all sorts of breeds, from dachshunds and frenchies to doodles and chowskis. We have puppy experience and a limited amount of training experience. I love taking pups for walks and am happy to walk for whatever length of time your pup most prefers! Plus, I’d be thrilled to take pics of your pup to send to you during the day 📸🐶

If coming to your home, you can rest assured that I am a reliable and trustworthy person who is background (DBS) checked from my time as a teacher. I will be respectful of your space and follow all rules/requests. For dog-walking services I am happy to travel to you and walk you and your pup’s preferred route.

As always, Emma and Trent are the best. We’ve been lucky that they’ve been available when we needed someone to care for our girls while we needed to be away for several hours. We added another pup this time and Emma was welcoming to her as well. Dowdy, my granddaughters Chesapeake Bay Retriever can be a little excitable so we had a short meet and greet before we left for the evening. The meet and greet went exceptionally well so we felt very comfortable leaving all three of our furry girls with Emma and Trent. We highly recommend Emma and Trent to anyone needing a sitter for their furry friends. Our girls live them as well!
Watched our dogs for our wedding! They were dependable and great!
Emma and Trent did a great job caring for my two cats. They were happy when I returned and they were able to successfully get Delilah to take her meds every morning. I would use them again!
Emma and Trent were amazing sitters. They took great care of my senior dog which meant tricking him into taking medication. Emma took him on adventures to the tulip festival and softball game which by the photos she sent I could tell he was so happy. She also won over our skittish cat who is usually afraid of strangers. Best of all we came home after 10 days to a pristine house. Thank you Emma and Trent!

Schedule
As I’m not working currently, I have as much time as needed to dedicate to your pup. I can travel at any preferred time for walks or in-home dog sitting.
