A typical day
Like to take dogs to new places and explore parks. Enjoy working with dogs that are hesitant to other people and other animals and work with them to combat this fear. My own dog was a rescue so am used to working with rescue dogs.

I've taken care of dogs over the year from small dogs to large Alsatian breeds. I live with a large dog at moment and take out and look after every day.

Please do not book Gareth for dog sitting. I advised Luna was strong and energetic he said he was used to big dogs. Within an hour of me dropping her he was messaging me, sending videos of her walking round his flat, saying she wasn't settling. He hadn't even given her an hour. The messages came through constantly and left me on edge so when I rang him he said come and get her. I'd booked a dog sitter last minute due to the death of my father in law in Ireland and I needed to get over. Thanks to Gareth I missed my father in law of 16 years funeral. He wanted £100 to have a dog that would sit and do nothing.
Gareth has been so patient with my new rescue pocket bully Dooley who has the strength of a buffalo but the confidence of a mouse! He's not minded him nervous weeing all over the floor (and cleaned it up!) and taking it at Dooleys pace (a slow waddle). 🐌 adapting how he greets him in response, which has already made a difference! He has been flexible and even came to check-in on a day he no longer needed to, a visit which increased my confidence massively in Dooleys progress with new people! Gareth is great and would definately recommend him 😊

Very happy with Gareth. He seems to have managed our two big dogs well during a week’s dog and house sitting, he sent regular updates and photos. His communication was always prompt and he inspired confidence on the meet and greet before the booking. House was left near and tidy. Would use again without hesitation.
