Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced garden so your pet has space to play safely. We also have our own dog, Max, a cocker spaniel cross, to keep them company. Max sleeps in his crate in the utility room, where there is room for a friend (in their own crate or bed) if your dog likes company at night, or there is a choice of two other rooms downstairs if they prefer their own space. We suggest you bring their bed and favourite food and toys so they have their own familiar things around them, but these can also be provided if you prefer.

Information Katherine R. would like to know about your pet
Any pets we look after will obviously need to be okay with other dogs and with children - ours are fairly sensible but not all dogs are happy around children. We would be keen to meet up before your pet's stay to make sure everyone gets along and find out all the details of what we should do to make sure everything goes smoothly.
A typical day
A typical day starts with a walk on the playing field a few minutes' walk from our home, where Max likes to play with a ball and meet other dogs. Then it's home for breakfast and a snooze. Later on we'll go out again, this time further afield, to one of the great local parks - Torkington Park, Bramhall Park and Happy Valley are all walking distance. Then the children come home from school and it's playtime; Max loves to run around the garden with them and join in their games, but a quieter companion could always enjoy some more nap time instead. In the evening we all like to snuggle up on the sofa together.

Kind and loving pet care in a family home
Pet care experience
We are Kate and Matt and we live in Hazel Grove with our two children. We first started doggy boarding way back in 2008 and Kate also started dog walking a year later. We had a lot of fun getting to know all kinds of fantastic dogs, but in 2013 we took a break to start our family. Now that our children are older (eleven and eight) we are all keen to get started again, meaning we offer a handy combination of a lot of experience but also a lot of availability as we build up the business again.
Reviews

Wonderful with our dog! Will absolutely use them again.

Katherine is so lovely and took such wonderful care of our dog Otis during doggy day care. She was really amenable to our schedule and provided lots of photos/pieces of information for each day that she looked after him. We could tell at each pick up that Otis had a brilliant time! We look forward to hopefully booking with Katherine again in the future 😊🥰

Katherine and her family looked after Sally for a week while we were on holiday, and we couldn’t be happier. Sally was very well cared for, and we received great communication with frequent updates throughout. It gave us real peace of mind—highly recommend!

Thank you for having Poppy, she loves spending the day with you guys and always seems to get the sun! Communication and booking have been excellent- many thanks Hannah
